Had a good search around the large tree and all its wands and in some of its nests but nothing found.
Our last day in Geraldine, enjoying a rest day with some much-needed rain this morning. Out for a stroll and found the perfect place for a wand.. but it was empty. Need to contact Ollivanders asap for a replacement I think. Have messaged owner with photos.
What a great track and what an amazing tree. Thanks for showing us this track and all the trees along the way. Not an easy find but eventually spotted.
A fav from us for the track and tree. TFTC

Found on a humid Sunday afternoon while taking our 4-legged companion for a walk. Bumped into other geocachers, whose kids found the cache. TFTC
Pretty cool wee cache on our way north with Trex5159, great way to break up the trip #TFTC
What a cool hiding place and even cooler camo container.

What a large tree in this thicket.
As we had arrived by car we had to search for a path here. Once we had found the little track it was an easy catch to find the cache. It's a funny one, the box fits verry good into the outer container
We signed the log and went on our way!

We were running two devices today due to the meandering nature of our travels. The GPS is slightly more accurate than the phone yet both led us past GZ. Once they had stopped counting down and started counting up again we turned around and retraced out steps, while Andy searched one area, I searched another and Andy came up trumps. tftc
After seeing the difficulties of some previous searchers we were a little concerned. But we gleaned enough information from logs of previous finders to point us in the right direction and we found the cache hiding in plain sight! Beautiful little place- an FP and TFTC
This is a lovely path through the woods with dappled sunlight and the sound of birdsong. The hide it self is very cunning and the host brilliant. All in all, a favourite point.
Had to bushwack to find the trail. Very nice if a bit slippery.
This my number 999 find. Getting ready to party.

Today the next tour with Vesperugo. It is a wonderful Region and we liked it so much to walk, explore and search the boxes.
Jumping cords, thousands of possibilities and a hint, we do not understand - no, we couldn’t found.
Many thanks to hide the box, show us the place and do the maintenance.

That was a really good one. Took a little to find but it was a really good spot. Well camouflaged!
Took quite a long time with the bad coverage but found it after re reading the description
Logged the wrong cache at first ! I was searching on the stream bed when Mrs g shouted out from above ‘got it!’ She says a favourite! TFTC

Found on a weekend away in Geraldine and a great walk in this impressive forest. Great hiding spot here! TFTC!
Good container. Wonderful host. Has to be a favourite awarded. Thats for bring us here and for the cache. Greetings from the UK
It's all good here but just a note to self that in future don't put cammo stuff on the floor as I cannot see it coz it's cammo!!! Cheers
Having driven up from Central Otago it was great to have a good walk with the dog around all the Talbot forest and Pekapeka Reserve Caches.
Great hide! We stopped in town and the others went to the shops and cafe while i grabbed the opportunity to go caching with geo-dog. Funny to see some familiar northern names preceding mine on the logsheet. A fave, thanks
in the area getting a couple of hours fresh air.. choose a cache location at random in the town.. roughly aware there were some tracks here.. jogged down from the car park at the top.. finding a short cut track on the way that seemed to get going in the right direction.. some lovely bush here and some even greater trees..
on arriving at GZ i glanced at the massive one and thought was a great place for a cache but thanks to the drizzle and the under bush poor light couldn't really read the gps details ( in little writing) - still getting used to the advancing wisdom ruining my near sight?? lol.. so spent way longer then i should have checking out all the ever changing locations the GPS decided to take me too.. while it tried to figure out why the satellites wouldn't stay "still" above it.. in the end i happened to glance back at the big one and make visual contact with something that just didn't look organic... bummer i was so close on first arrival... bingo... amazing spot...

Out caching today with my favourite people Geo Jessie and Busy Paws (daughter and Mum) had a fantastic day out exploring some interesting places. Nice hide and a lovely bit of forest to walk in. Deserves a fav. Many thanks to all the cache owners. TFTC
Beautiful wee area! Quaint bridge near by and the cache is very well hidden. Definitely earns a fav point from me! Found with Geomum007.

Did a bike ride whilst camping at Grumpy's. Supposed to be an easy day but ended up 55km Included all of the Geraldine MB Trail and a trip to Orari Gorge. Could have picked up many more as we passed more than we stopped at. Would be nice to complete the GMBT sometime. TFTC
Spending a rainy day in Geraldine before continuing our bicycle trip, and naturally we have to log a few caches . Tftc, and a favorite from us.

Obviously we were either looking in the wrong place or failed to focus properly. Never mind.
A nice walk in the cool forest on a hot afternoon. Great hide, the spot seemed made for the container.
I'm sad my NZ adventures are coming to and end and I'm not ready to fly home but this magical forest cheered me up. Incredible trees and I love little footbridges. Thanks for the cache!
Very well done double container. It should stay dry!. - Zeke & George of Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA
Came for a walk this afternoon in this rather lovely bit of forest - lots of really magnificent trees and quite a bit of native birdlife too with bellbird songs very much in evidence. I found the cache surprisingly quickly, a rather neat little hiding spot. Definitely an impressive tree specimen here! Signed log, TFTC
Went on a big adventure with Wafflekitties and geo pups, had a blast thanks for the memories! TFTC.
Found while on a winter holiday with LCBuilder and our two geodogs. We spent 3 weeks travelling down the east coast and then up the west coast, setting our tent up at a different campsite each night. We didn't have any real plan, just went where the caches took us we saw a lot of awesome sights and will definitely have to come back one day as 3 weeks isn't really that long! TFTC!
On a cashing weekend in South Canterbury with my sister NZ Bozzy
