Another entertaining day of caching around the Bundaberg area. Beautiful weather, wonderful scenery and creative hides provided us with a top day out. We replaced this one. Some fishing boats and people around so we had to be steallthy.
Thanks to Sulie.

There is a very obvious spot for this one and it is not present. Maybe the owner can check it out - or archive if not interested in maintaining? Thanks.

No joy for me today. I fossicked about for 15 minutes. The GPSr pointed to the right area. Perhaps the cache owner can check on this one. TFTH.

There were three cars with boat trailers attached when I arrived and one parked very near GZ. about 2 meters. I drove in and pulled up in front of this one with the cache location in full view and then suddenly realised that there was a woman sitting in the car. Must have been guarding the car and trailer while hubby went fishing. After strolling around for a while taking particular interest in all the signs etc and writing some notes in my notebook, it did not look like the fisherman was going to turn up any time soon, so I decided to shoot through for a while. There's not a real lot to do around this area for an hour or so apart from having an early lunch and drive up all the dead end roads, but when I ventured back they had gone. Log book signed and out of there. Thanks Sulie.

Easy find on a wonderful caching day.

Several cars and boat trailers but no people. Good! A muggle-free hunt and the cache was in hand. The cache had suffered some water ingress but the log book was OK. Some of the swag had rusted so I removed them and cleaned up the cache. SL. TFTC Sulie.

We were nearly attacked by bog monsters on our way to and from the cache - no seriously, some of the local lads had found a mud wallow and were, well, wallowing and then running out to perform 'interpretive dance' by the side of the road. Hey, it's better than shooting up road signs Big Grin

At GZ we spotted one car and soon had a second come upon us, however, after a short wait one car wandered off to fish so we moved our wheels between the cache and the other vehicle for a quick sign and replace.

Thanks for the cache, and the local lads for the fun.

This was the first of seven today and I found myself at a lovely location where there were only two trailers without boats and an easy find so signed the log and I was on to the next. Thanks to Sulie for placing this cache

The highlight of this find was a beautifully restored SWB Landcruiser parked nearby. Many years ago we travelled to some of the more remote parts of the country in one of these.
Thanks sulie

WOW! This one was really easy to find. I think somebody must've moved it out of it's hiding place because nothing was covering it. Oh well. We swapped some stuff and hid it properly.Great Find!!!Big Grin

Our 8th and last cache for the day. We were surprised to see so many cars here during the week but the cache was quickly in hand even though we had to wait for someone to park his car. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache.

Found at 11.50am GAFF1. "Finally" After an inordinate amount of time and travel to get here - we followed TomTom and he was just having us on for a long time.
In the end it was well worth the extra kms as this spot is just magnificent with a lovely camping ground and the fishing here would be excellent. We took the opportunity to have lunch as it was so ideal.
Thanks Sulie - it's "al".
