Easy find, trickier to get and rehide when traffic is starting to back up but managed to get it done. Tftc!
Was a great hiding spot my son found it took a minute or 2 was our first time geocaching
A nice quick find with , thanks to the handy hint. Although the CO’s legs must be quite a bit longer than mine! TFTC. KTG
Out with KiwiKatieG for a morning of caches before we go for a lunch date. Nice and easy find. Not sire about being knee height. Probably doesn't help that I'm about knee height to a cricket... lol. Was more like mid thigh height for me. Nice and easy though. Cache in great condition. TFTC
I was out and about in Tawa mainly to complete the 2 AdLabs but will sign off any other caches that get in the way.
Looks like the cache has been found by a muggle and it is good that it was put back.
Cheers for the cache.

Easy to find but no pencil so couldn't sign it. Forgot to bring my own. Will pop back another time to sign.
Easy find. Not so easy getting across the road! Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Finished off the new Adventure Lab today and with it I ended up here at the cemetery. Cache was an easy grab, but parking was a little tricker. Tftc!
(Also, jubfr xarrf ner gung gnyy???)

With the sunshine out today and a need to get 50 caches per month (yep another challenge cache dominating my life TwigNZ and I opted for a casual jaunt around Tawa. After leaving one car at each end and completing the walkway full of AL's and multi's we had time (i know there is always time for one more) to head back south again via a few more caches, this being one of them. A quick find for TwigNZ here while I got distracted. TFTC Yeetrees.
For the last 8 months, my weekends have been mostly dominated by work commitments, family commitments, friend commitments...in fact let's just say I should have been committed!
So it's been a total pleasure to have a weekend where I could do whatever I wanted, which means that I have mostly done geocaching lol. I had a great day out yesterday on Somes Island, and today it was a much more genteel stroll through Tawa with Itchyfeet2020 with no real targets or caches in mind, but rather let's just see where we get to.
Having said that, we did figure we would do the 2 Adventure Labs available to us, plus the Multi that pretty much share a similar route. Having just completed those, we were making our way back south again but chose to do so using the main arterial route so we could stop at a few Trads along the way, of which this was one.
We parked up about 100m from GZ and walked over to it where it was a quick find. By now I felt that my luck was improving having already been bitten by a dog before we had barely started this morning. However, whilst walking back to our car I was hit by a car reversing out of a parking space. Luckily it was only at low speed, and no harm done, but I did spend the rest of the day waiting for the (almost) inevitable 3rd accident to happen lol! How apt that I have an accident after doing a cemetery cache!
Thanks for the cache.

Find no 50! Yay. Busy spot for traffic . A nicely preserved cemetery worth a look at too.
Passing by while doing the History of Tawa adventure lab and thought it would be rude not to try and find this cache while I was so close. A quick find but had to try and time it well with the traffic. All nice and dry in the cache. A nice little cemetery. TFTC
Saturday morning drive down to Tawa and Porirua area to find some caches. A busy road. Thanks Yeetrees for the cache.
Took me 3 minutes late at night and the capsule was located. Nice hide. my handwriting at night is not flash though. Someone's dog had dropped a brown present right below the cache location, so I've move that on lol
Quick find but as others have said, it is really hard to not look dodgy on a busy road.
Quite an easy find, just super hard to not look dodgy on the main road. Forgot a pen though
A bit higher than my knee but still a quick easy find, although a very busy main road so hard to be stealthy
Another stop in the Grand Geocaching Tour of New Zealand Cemetaries! Walking the length of Awa Tara to collect clues for the multi. Made a slight diversion to get this one. All good in cache, tftc!
Apologies for the extremely late log but the lockdown interrupted things and I never quite got into the swing of logging after, never mind catching up but I am trying to do so before the year ends.
Out for a walk and swung by here. Quick find and interesting to read the history of the cemetery too. TFTC!

Enjoyed a stroll around the interesting grave stones and learning some of the history of the area. Many thanks for this cache.
Only find out of four we went for today, so pleased it was an easy find, otherwise I would have come home very grumpy! TFTC
Replaced cache and log book
Please re-hide well so it doesn't get muggled
Maintenance check
All good here no issues as all logs are waterproof paper

Grey Day in Tawa. Easy find and terrain easy not really 2/5. Bit of fun though. Soggy log book.
Whoop whoop! Level 2! Super excited about this as every other time there were muggles everywhere.
As noted, cache needs maintenance. It is cracked and logbook soaked. Thanks for bringing me here.

Happy Palindrome Day! I needed a nice quick find today as it has been busy but I really wanted the souvenir. After parking as close as we could, I made my way to GZ on foot and once there I made a nice quick find. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next hunter. The cache is holding up well. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC!
Lovely. Smurf out, toys in. Bag needs replacing soonish. I signed this with my former name sabine44.
Trying hard to complete our museum mystery this weekend. Driven past this one lots but never stopped so today we made the effort! Cool little cemetery.
Out with Kimmy+co on a rather gloomy day.
Hoping to finish the Mystery at the museum

With rebel98 on a mini caching adventure
For some reason I was determined to climb to the top, which really was the wrong place to be. Once back on solid ground, moved along and back, and eventually had the cache.
Thanks for the history and the hide Yeetrees

Never knew there was a cemetery there, despite driving past it lots of times. Straightforward find. TFTC
This took awhile to find and then took even longer to find a break in traffic to get back to the car. Without caching I would never have known there was a cemetery there. TFTC.
A quick stop as I was passing by. Visited this cemetery many times in my youth. Cache is safe and dry here. TFTC
A trip to Palmy planned for Saturday, but Friday is catch up day with friends and family. Friday morning is my time and time for a few caches heading back from Porirua.
Lots of muggles driving past so snagging this one had to wait for the right moment to retrieve and return. Cheers. Picked up TB G57BXZ

A lil' distraction from traffic & GPS location, but after few search then voila the cache is there only need trick to get it out. Nice hide. TFTC
As others have stated, cache semi-wedged but otherwise all good. Cheers Yeetrees
A quick and easy find on a dot day for us. Safely tucked away, I see what the previous cacher means by wedged, but didn't take too long for us thankfully. Thank you for the clever hide.
Found it easily enough but couldn't get it out! Eventually managed to free it but I didn't really need that little struggle on the side of a busy road! And it was all muddy so ewww. Nice and dry inside though. When I put it back I see why it got wedged so easily so the next finder might have the same issue.
#2298 i happened to be over this way VERY late at night and it was the next side of midnight as I was on the way home. A quick find using the hint.
All good at GZ with a dry log and container. Thanks for another yeetrees smilie to add to the tally.

No problem with access: I found a convenient parking spot just across the road. I took a quick look in the cemetery, just to say 'Hi' to some dead people . Signed log, thanks for the cache.
A quick find at a little cemetery I have driven past many times and not noticed. Thanks for placing a cache here.
We were tired, hot, hungry and grumpy and heading home after 2 x DNFs and a dead phone battery so no GPS. Sad as we had found 9 today but really wanted a tenth!!
THEN as we drive by here we noticed a white 4x4 type of car with 2 people behaving a bit like geocachers. I wouldn't have spotted the cemetery if it wasn't for them! I parked in front of them and walked up steps into cemetery hoping they would quickly re-hide cache and leave but they were still there sitting in car when I returned. I thought about approaching them but am still a bit new to this game so wasn't sure of etiquette. Instead I got back in car and drove a quick loop round, when I came back they had gone and cache was quickly in my hand. Thank you for number 10 today!!

You would have to be pretty tall for this to be knee high...but I found it anyway. Tftc
Thanks for placing the cache. Quick find after starting at the wrong height. Hint is cacher dependent. Glad to keep my steak up.
Noel Cook . found Tue 14th July 2015 good find with the grand children. It was a bit higher than the knees.
A nice and quick find, exactly where my cacher's nose expected it would be. TFTC
