A fun well set up Wherigo. Happy to say that the medicine was located. Scratching through over 12 months of leaf litter was almost enough to drive me a little batty. Enjoyed it!
Made my way through my first ever Whereigo but could not find the medicine. Seems like it should have been easy, but I couldn't see anything

A days caching from Canberra to Nowra and back. The main aim was the Te Amo series, but stopped by this wherigo for a wander. Once complete the cache was easily found. Took TB and 2 GCs. TFTC.

Great job!! I am new to Werigo's but am enjoying the experience. Geta a fav from me
I admit it. I looked even though I was told not to.
The cache is in great shape! Thanks for the wherigo experience.
The cache is in great shape! Thanks for the wherigo experience.
Today Loci612 and I (Darksidedan) left Canberra at 5am and headed out to Goulburn to pick up Fitzy_1965. Not long after we were at the first cache of the day. An FTF north of Moss Vale then onto Nowra to find a swag of 40 plus caches for the day. The days highlights included seeing two Sea Eagles, millions of birds, a Wombat and A Dolphin. In Total I drove 660kms and we cached for a total of 16 hours including driving time.
This cache was one of the caches that we found. The cache was signed DSD for Darksidedan. Thanks for the cache and the adventure. We will be back this way to clean up any caches we missed this time.
A Very Big Congrats to Loci612 who got his 10,000th cache find and managed to do his 6th D/T Loop on the same cache. I was glad to be there for such a milestone.
A well set out wherigo

**This Cache:**
Wow, a 2009 Wherigo!? [:o] Not many of them around, so a good one to grab! Only a brand new platform back then!
My iPhone was used for this cartridge, and I found out that the Wherigo app is not supported for bigger screens anymore when I was greeted with a small screen and black border!
Still managed to work flawlessly though, didn't have any app issues thankfully as I have in the past with more complex / longer cartridges. I did mess up once though and forgot to do an action, so had to go back and forth. But all good in the end!
Thanks for the cache, was a quick find once at GZ
---
**Today:**
Myself, DSD and Fitzy_1965 planned a long day trip down to Nowra, and Currarong to pick up some caches! I was nearing my 10,000th find, and 6th D/T loop so had a cache lined up for the milestone! We left Canberra at 5am, picked up Fitzy from Goulburn, grabbed an unexpected first to find in the Southern Highlands, and then headed down to the coast!
The day lasted 16 hours before we finally returned home after 9pm. A very successful day, I don't believe we had a single DNF! My milestone cache did take 1 hour to find though, phew!
Thanks to all the CO's and DSD + Fizty for the company

Being seniors, we struggle a bit with technology. We managed to get a start at WP1 and were sent to WP2, we arrived there and were able to supply the answer with a positive reply from the app. Then it all crashed. We tried again several times and roamed around that location but the app remained dead. Bad luck. Thanks anyway.
Well.. that was a first! Very interesting and I really enjoyed. Like other finders, the “medicine” was in a different spot to indicated, but only about 2 meters further in. Surprisingly easy to find after digging around in the wrong spot!!
Love the bat medicine

Wow that was a lot of fun...& hunting! Medicine coords were sending me all over the place. So glad to finally find the medicine though, don't think it's any good now lol.
Thanks for the adventure, my first Wherigo! I used an app on my android, worked well although sometimes took a while to register I was standing in the right places.

I really enjoyed wandering around this cemetery - thank you for this well thought-out WIGO, TheHunterGatherers.
I have spent a couple of nights in Nowra on a post-Mega road meander and it is a good base for exploring.
Message passed on from the Doctor..... Greetings from Christchurch.

The journey to the mega resulted in a lot of driving, with a few select cache finds, due to the distance I had to travel. If only there was time to find them all! Once at “The Gong” as there are so many caches, yet again, sadly, only some could be attempted. I really enjoyed this wherigo. A cute cemetery in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for placing the cache TheHunterGatherers
With an influx of new wherigos within easy drives of home, thought it about time I learnt how to do them properly rather than remain a tag-a-long for stats. Thanks to Muppet95 for setting up my device during the Clear Waters mega, Bonfire7 for the moral support and company as I went solo for the first time and Hunter Gatherers for an educational adventure. Seems like a lot of people have used this one as a beginner wherigo and though a few steps were slow or froze in an endless loop without repeating it all, the final task was located and eventually completed easily. Not so scared of wherigos now, ghosts however... ?

Away caching with The Neighbs and SESBLOCKER picking up a number of caches in the area.
I was using my phone to run the cartridge but alas the the GPS system on my phone is flakey. So had to wait until the phone worked out before getting the info. A great whereigo and a F.P.

Another wherigo find with phlphotos, alnic39 and JJCC after taking phlphotos new geomobile for a spin. This cache was needed for a challenge cache in the ACT. After a few hiccups we managed to speak to some apparitions and answer the needed questions which led us towards our final goal. With the cache in hand we all signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the wherigo TheHuntetGatherers.
The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Rimu Placemat & Dorus.

#1649 met up alnic39 teamMerlin and Splitty Miller JJCC to take the geojuke for a spin not so comfy for those in the back. Got to the start an answered the questions and soon got coords but then had a bit of trouble with GZ as it took us outside first where there was a likely spot but not really. Then went inside and soon located the cache. Had to clear away cobwebs and soon had the cache in hand. It smelt like the cache had been damp for a while but the log was dry
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the wherigo TheHuntetGatherers

After a lovely night talking and camping at Bendeela with The Hancock Clan we did a few caches on the Saturday.
Sadly as always the clumsiness of the WherIGo made this less fun than it was meant to be. I wish they would update their software. Good fun across the three devices though.

An enjoyable wherigo with Team Canary. The app on the Android phone was a bit clunky but between three of us we got there in the end. Enjoyed this one. Once at GZ we thought we'd been muggled by a couple of kids on bikes but they turned out to be cachers. It was good to be able to help them find this one. TFTC!

**Coordinate Accuracy:** Good.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**The Cache**
Log signed and replaced in it's hide'y hole. I didn't obtain a unlocking code though. I have been wanting to do a Wherigo for some time, they sure looked fun. My first Wherigo happened to be The Wollondilly Werewolf at Tahmoor last year, and as it was a hot day was not completed. The Wherigo just got the better of me and I had to go and investigate. Anyway, the first completed Wherigo was Queens Park in Toowoomba late last year. A fantastic Wherigo, but a doozey of a walk. I also attempted Ugo in Charles Barton, in Brisbane, but had troubles right at the end so no complete yet. As for **Talking to Ghosts** for a first Wherigo all I can say is BRILLIANT !!!! a fav point from me as I am really impressed with the content, location, story line, theme etc I really, really enjoyed this Wherigo very much. The way in which it was written made it almost come alive. Hubz said I looked funny with three nippers trailing along behind me from zone to zone.... lol ghost Jane with ghost babies Maneouvering through the cartridges can be a challenge, and I applaud you for allowing one to return to a previous zone and for saving your place. This is a great learner cache for beginners as it allows freedom to move in the app. The one I did in Queens Park wouldn't allow me to go back to a zone so I couldn't get the unlock code. For some reason this one wouldn't give me one either, just kept telling me to find the cache and I was at the end of the game. BRILLIANT JOB !!!! Please create another
**The Day**
I'd planned an early morning start to go caching while heading south to drop off Grand Sprout One following three weeks with us but I got to bed too late an couldn't sleep all night till 6am and then I had 2 hours. Left late. Oh well, something is better than nothing. Have to laugh that most of the caches belong to the same CO, an unintended coincidence.

Woohooo! Our first Wherigo cache! We have been caching for a few years now and have looked at Wherigo caches on and off but have never had a compatible GPSr. (We use a Garmin Rhino 650 and GPSMap60csx).
It was only after talking with Ian & Penny recently and reading your cache description we realised we could download a player for our phone and work that way.
So that's what we did and success!
We had some interesting times with the player getting used to it, but that was us learning. The cartridge worked well and was great for beginners.
Thanks so much for the introduction. You have added another dimension to our caching and we will look for them in the future.
All worked beautifully!

My first wherigo found with Jaybeem! On a weekend caching trip in Nowra. Log very wet.
I enjoy this type of cache even though we have not done many of them.
A disappointment at GZ as the cache has seen better days and is in need of owner intervention.
OCWF SL TFTC and the fun.

Hi guys, the cache contents including the double bagged log book are damp and could do with some TLC.
Dropped by to say hello to Mum and tried this out while I was here. I found the iphone app to be a little clunky but I got the hang of things nevertheless. Thanks HGs im looking forward to my next.
Well....what can I say,
This is my first wherigo and I absolutely loved it.
I was quite amazed by how it all worked and had a good laugh along the way too.
Muppet95 helped me get the cartridge going and then off we went to GZ for the story and the find.
Thanks for putting this wherigo cache together . definitely a fav point !

After a big day in Kiama yesterday, I had planned for today to be a quiet day at home.
(Un)Fortunately, I woke up early enough to consider heading to Nowra - worth the full day out geocaching.
Still chipping away at the 50km radius, today I picked up 10% of the remaining hides, which isn't too bad at all! Thanks for the hot, sweaty, dirty and exhausting day.

10th of the day.
Met up with Bonfire7 to have a crack at this Wherigo.
As per usual, preparation was a little confusing even after doing a few Wherigo's.
Once we got both phones booted up, we were working through it quite well.
I looked at the note [:o)], that's all I'll say without spoiling anything.
GZ was a bit of a stumble around - mostly because it was covered by tree litter quite well!
Unfound for 6 months, 2 days - that explains it!!
Another 6 months to qualify for the Forgotten Years Challenges, even though I've finished them off.
Thanks for a neat Wherigo - Something a bit different

Having recently been able to do these a little easier due to some extra hardware we headed over. We followed the poor tale around and then was reward with some co-ords. It took a little to uncover the find as it was well covered. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
The first of six caches for the day while heading down the coast. I had been looking forward to our trip to Currarong and while it was way too cold to swim, it would be a good chance to do some bushwalking. I had selected a few caches that I thought would be worthwhile getting beforehand. This was one as I always like doing a good Wherigo cache! This one certainly lived up to expectations and, with my Oregon working well, I was soon talking to ghosts. What a great little spot! Once I had completed all the tasks and arrived at GZ, I found the cache fairly quickly. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC TheHunterGatherers!
Very nice story, our first cache for today. Talking to ghosts is tough work now we need some food. Many thanks for the lovely walk.
What did the note actually say? It's going to drive me insane, well more crazy than hearing ghosts.
It was a quiet time in the graveyard.
At gz I think there was a funnel web spider hole, and the contents of the box smelled of decay thanks to the moisture that seeped in. But the log was dry.
Thanks for the spiritual trip.

As the almost fall moon rose over the cemetery our merry little crew went in search of this cache. Lots of rustles in the bushes and trees added atmosphere as we talked to the ghosts and worked out the little mystery. A great introduction to Whereigo caches. Love it. I now just need the technology to do more of them.
Thanks Macca for teaching me how a Whereigo works.

Over time we have had various success (and failures) in our wherigo quests. This one was a mighty and fun success! ....and for the keen geocacher, yet another interesting and historic cemetery which we would otherwise never have seen.
Thank you for this. We had great fun running backwards and forwards and asking all the right questions.
Thanks The HunterGatherers for the effort you have put into this Wherigo.

Well, here we go, wherigo number nine
It was a nice, simple, quick wherigo, which we enjoyed. We liked talking to the ghosts and exploring the cemetery, and then coming up with the goods and medicine bottle at the end.
Dropped off two TBs waiting for the next willing adventurer.
Thanks so much TheHunterGatherers for this great cache, found just before 7:00 in the evening.

Wow - how good was this. After doing the quick tutorial on Wherigo's it was time to attempt my first one.
Talking With Ghosts was devised and constructed by my son almost 4 years ago.
Although he accompanied me on this search, he offered no assistance other than loan me his Oregon when mine suffered from flat batteries when about a third of the way into the game.
(Lesson to be learned here: Rechargeable batteries die without warning, even the spare set you may have been carting around for months).
After returning to the start things went relatively smoothly as my understanding of how to interpret the flow of this fascinating game increased.
The instructions all worked extremely well and the "Medicine" was soon in hand.
Took Nothing Left Nothing, Signed log.
Congratulations to TheHunterGatherers - a brilliant story line which is most applicable to the location.
Definitely worth a favourite based on all of the above.

This is the first Wherigo that I have completed on my own ! I hadn't realised that this place was so big as I had to walk it several times. I even spoted the grave of someone that I knew ! You sure put a lot of work into this one HunterGathers ! Well Done! SL TFTC

Loved the whole idea of a Wherigo Geocache. Have been here a couple of times, in high spirits, with equipment that we hoped would allow the ghosts to appear. Alas, no unearthly beings approached. Then, Nav Akubra was gifted with the Garmin Oregon and we were set. Greeted by our host ghost pretty quickly and followed his story all the way to the cache! TFTC Hunter Gatherers, can't wait for your next one. SL, Took a harmonica, Left a marble. No plastic swaps so far though the elixir is not what we expected.
Luckily batteries have since been invented! Good fun for the family

# 5632 Found on our VIC and NSW east coast adventure on another
drive around the area while staying at Nowra.
Nice and quiet and no muggles around while I was here, no surprise though.....
This is the 1st wherigo I have done where I could actually take the driveby option along the way.
And the cartridge played perfectly, so it is a favourite for me.

I've been wanting to try whereigo for ages, but my GPS wasn't up to it, and bikerbuddy had already done all of the ones around Sydney. I found an app for the iPhone, but had no idea if it worked.
So seeing this one in the area this weekend was the perfect time to test it. bikerbuddy put the cartridge on his Oregon, I downloaded it to the phone & we set off together. It did take me a little bit of time to work out the menus & which buttons I had to select, but eventually I got the hang of it & it all worked smoothly. I mostly used the app to navigate around the cemetary, but entered the final coordinates into my GPS for the final search.
Had a fun time, got a new icon for my finds list & got the knowledge that I could use the app for any other whereigo's I come across.
Thanks for a fun cache, another favourite for the day
Not sure how to log it on the wherigo site though - bikerbuddy said with the oregon he just uploads something & it all works, but I don't think the phone app will work in the same way. But I shall try .

This cache was a bit out of our way from where we had just been caching, but Toriaz wanted to do it, since she had never done a Whereigo cache before. She had downloaded the app for her phone, and I have it on my Oregon 550, so we both wandered about the graveyard, doing it together. The cartridge ran fairly smothly, although at one point I forgot to hit a button and I had to return to the other grave to get it right. Apart from that, the find was easy, and Toriaz was happy to score a new icon in her finds statistics. Thanks
Nice idea for a cache. Beautiful day and a nice walk. TFTC. Found with snorris and marachup.
I had wanted to do this one in the dark but it wasn't to be. Got to the third point of call and pressed the wrong button and had to start all over again. Got through it the second time and located the well hidden cache. A well put together and enjoyable whereigo in an interesting place.

The new GPS does not have a Wherigo player anymore, so I had to rely on the notes I made looking at the emulator some time ago. The rain had set in again, so it was a good thing I did not have to do all the traipsing around, but I found the cache container after a bit of searching. Thanks.

I see dead people, we found the medicine, so funny. Medicine straight from the belfry. This is our 2nd wertigo cache , we enjoyed it. Took key ring left white pussy cat. TFTC.
Nice walk around the place a friend rests in peace. Love the idea of WhereIgo caches, story caches are cool. Found the medicine no problems using the iPhone. Left our pathtag and a teapot, TN. TFTC
Thankyou very much. This was my first wherigo cache and I enjoyed it immensly. We tried for this last week, but it was raining, a lot, and the water was sheeting through the place. There is a series of Last Known Address caches by richlink in WA and I sort of expected that this would be similar. I wasn't wrong, but the story and way I got around was great. I did find out what happens if you don't read the pages carefully and click through too quickly. You can easily do silly things like reading the note, but I liked the walk back to the start point. Thankyou
Anyhoo, I can report that the cache is in good order and that I had a good chat with some ghosts.
Thanks for the experience TheHunterGatherers

4036. [font=Century Gothic][green]Well that was an adventure. As usual I didn't read things properly and mucked up a bit. So when escaping hit no when asked if I wanted to save. Dóh. So started again and read things more carefully. Well it was nice to wander around except for the dew/wet grass. Wasn't sure why the doctor kept moving away from his grave but not really an issue (unless you'd read it wrong earlier ) All in all a fun experience.

My first whereigo. Thanks huntergatherers, I had fun. I wonder what the neighbors think of cachers wandering here and there in this place?

Went at midnight and got freaked out with my friend. Gunna go back in the day and find it. At night it's creepy and so dark, bring a good torch!!
Found with SherpaNT and Deputy D0g while down the coast for the GCNSW event in Nowra. I can't say it was a quick find but defintely enjoyable, would have been even better if the Oregon had of behaved itself a bit better. Thanks for putting in the effort and creating this WhereIgo hopefully you are inspired to put out a few more
We found Talking to Ghosts (GC1WQX4) on a trip south to attend the Geocaching NSW - South Coast invasion caching event with Bower Bird and SherpaNT, my 9th of 19 finds and my 1408th overall find. Nice to do another Whereigo cache, well put together.... TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache, TheHunterGatherers. Deputy D0g.
Picked up on a cache hunt after a nearby event. Love whereigos, add a bit of vareity to the day out. TFTC SL
First Whereigo cache for us, and we had a ball. Many thanks for going to the trouble of making up this cartridge, and TFTC!
Just dropping Cewe off and picking her back again Col just to let the owners knew she is alive and well.
We are heading north next weekend if you need anything moved let me know.

This was my first ever whereigo and it was awesome! Brilliant! I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Now I just have to convince fitzy_1965 to buy the device that can be used with these so we can start making our own. Great work - best cache i've done so far! TFTC.
hmm perhaps we should have attempted this at night to add to the excitement, but perhaps not, did our chores and with two GPS Tankengine and Marcus we had a pretty good chance of going from start to finish without a crash, but both survived the torment and the possey of caches led around the GV finally found it, found with the rest of the invaders for the day, Tankengine, Marcus V, Fitzy and ABCD , my 3rd whereigo.
Reperio at 1035. As soon as I knew I was coming to Nowra for the weekend, I had this one on my priority list of caches to do. We took the quick detour out this way specifically for this one, and we weren't disappointed. The application worked very well, the story told was well put together and really gave you a sense of the history that lies here, even through the eyes of just two people. This cache really gave me an insight into how adventurous these types of caches can be.
Loved it.

2464 - Day 2 of the Nowra Invasion - our group down to five including mtrax, ACBC66, Tankengine and Marcus Vitruvius started the assault on Nowra...
Only my second ever Wherigo Cache - and ACBC66's first ! This was a really well thought out cache which also worked well - a wander around an intersting area following the story until all to quickly we were at GZ discovering the cache and the medicine (glad I didnt have to have it !!). The whole group enjoyed this experience - thanks guys !

After over 3200 cache finds, this is only my 3rd Wherigo cache! And I must say, my favorite so far! Was tempted to do it again to find out what would happen if I read the note, but no, more caches awaited! Everything worked well, thanks for the adventure!
This was our very first Wherigo cache, and it was really interesting. We will definitely try some more of this.
And yes, we found the medicin.

We learned about Whereigo caches from speaking to Bruce (Liz & Bruce) at the Oz Mega Event and while we driving across to Sussex Inlet we talked about our GPS being enabled and thought we should have a look on the internet and find out more. I was delighted to find that there was actually a Wherigo cache so close to where we were so thought we would check it out. After an early morning try out of the tutorial Whereigo we set off caravan in tow to the start point.
Upon arrival we found the road was very narrow and decided we should park the Jeep and caravan just inside the gates - we were soon off on our challenge. Very soon we were joined by a local cemetry worker who asked if we had family buried in the cemetry - we came up with a rather good story which we think he believed he then went off to do his work while we followed the clues. We finally reached the mediciene bottle but where unsure whether there was an actual cache or not. I believed there probably was and the search began! We were pretty close to giving up when with the help of our second GPS we searched a likely location and Yippee.... there it was. We marked the cache with a few extra sticks as it was very hidden and we thought that other geocachers might have the same problems we were having.
A fantastic concept which we really enjoyed participating in - we will have to go back to WA and attempt one of our own.
Thanks for all you efforts.

Rick and i were down at Jervis Bay, so i figured we'd travel the short distance up north to try a Wherigo cache (there doesn't seem to be that many around yet)...
Completed the Wherigo bit, in that we apparently found the medicine, but failed to find any actual cache. i should have read the description a bit better before doing this, as we were confused as to whether or not there was a physical cache.
Anyway, we looked around for a bit, then gave up as i suspect we had already aroused suspicion, as a van drove by rather slowly, it watching us, us watching it, and it stopped near my car. i suspect they took my rego number and reported us as behaving suspiciously, especially given we passed a police car going in the opposite direction, on our way back into Nowra

Our first go at a 'Wherigo'. An interesting little adventure (but I needed to use the hint). Thanx.

This is my 3rd Wherigo cache to date and my favourite by far! I loved the execution of characters, and the cheekiness of Mr Emery. I felt I was not just talking with ghosts but walking with ghosts as well! I carried out everything to the letter and the cartridge played itself without any hicups, very well done, this is a standout cache and in an interesting old cemetary to boot! Glad I made the effort to come in here, I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I had of disobeyed Dr's orders???
In any case I found the missing medicine and signed a log book while I was there, making damn sure the camo was replaced as found! Thanks for bringing me here TNLN
