We are driving the Oodnadatta Track so far it hasn't been too bad. We had just parked on the side of the track and was going to make a nice quick find. I liked the name of this cache. A quick find was made here. Thanks for placing this cache
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, after being stranded in Williams creek for 3 days waiting for the roads to open it was nice to get back on the road and on the hunt for new caches, nice quick find, thanks for placing this cache
Found on a trip to Parachilna Gorge, Marree, Muloorina Station, William Creek, Lake Cadibarrawirracanna, Coober Pedy and back home down the Stuart Highway. Quick stop here to make the find before heading westwards. Thanks for the cache Psalm 118:24 & Ginger Ninja!
We were checking on one of our own caches and realised this one has been sitting in our draft logs since last year from our epic Madigan Line and elsewhere trip. All sorted now. TFTC
We decided to load up the camper and run away from home for a week or two. The rain and a domestic water repair made us change our plans a few times but it didn't detract from the fun. We met quite a few people and learnt a lot from them - we were privileged to be shown a dugout at Coober Pedy and station life at Edeowie. We also found time to find a few caches, but we still have many unfound in the areas visited. Looking forward to returning to the upper north of South Australia one day soon.
Thank you to all those who helped make our trip very enjoyable.

Catching up on some logging of found caches after being in no internet reception terrain for some days. This adventure was with ilook4geo and all logs found were signed to mark our visit before all was put back as it had been found. Thanks go to Psalm 118:24 & Ginger Ninja for placing this cache.
Working on the backlog of caches found with goingplaces2. Not a lot of caches found as we head away from populated areas. Thanks to each CO for adding to the caching game. Cache found, log signed, job done!

Carrots aren’t boring! Great hiding spot! To be honest, My child was a teeny bit scared at first, but after she found it she felt better. TFTC!
Love the name of this cache. There was no need for the shade, although it was a lovely day. We, Mickyfam4 and TubbyBooBoo, left Coober Pedy and are heading down the Oodandatta Track to Marree. Thanks for the cache.
Christmas-Holidays 2019 / 2020
From Munich to Innsbruck/Austria to Bali/Indonesia to the Australian Outback and Sydney and at least a 9-hour stop-over in Guangzhou/China.
The trip took us approx. 3 weeks but we had a lot of fun. We have seen so many beautiful things - amazing!
Along the way - sometimes we also stopped by and had a look for a Geocache
TFTCs and best regards from Munich

It appears that these carrots are boring. They have bored a hole in to the ground. But then again, isn’t that just they way they grow?

On a road trip with CBC2 from Adelaide to Coober pedy via Oodnadatta track returning to Adelaide via the black top. Found many caches along the way some oh so easy and some more challenging. Thanks to all the CO s for their hides. Some took us to some wonderful places. SL TFTC
No carrots here today but the road is a lot busier due to school holidays and people don't know how to slow down when passing, a cracked windscreen to show for it
Sorry for the rant
Thanks Psalm 118.24 & Ginger Ninja TFTC.

Found today on the trip to Alice Springs for the next job. These geo’s sure are a great way to break up the journey. There’s not much else out here to see. TFTC
After 6 nights in Coober Pedy, we thought we'd take a run over to Lake Eyre to test out our vehicle's repairs [8].
Wondered what this one was going to be about and all was explained on approach .
TNLNSL.
Lots of changes in the last 10 years - windmills giving out to solar panels and electric pumps [^] - who ever would have thought [?].
Thanks Psalm 118:24 & Ginger Ninja.

A great drive by cache. Found, signed and replaced as found. A bit chilly today but well worth the stop. A really apt name for this cache.
Thanks heaps.

Sorry for the late log ! Found this as we slowly made our way back home after the Red Centre Event via Coober Pedy and the the William Creek Rd and Oodnadatta Track.. We loved the country out here and the chance to stop for a few smileys give us a way to explore, stretch the legs and top up the coffee cup !
Thanks for this cache Psalm 118;24. We rejoiced and were glad.

Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
Found on 4/4/17. There are some unusual cache sites out here but I appreciate them as it helps to remind me to stop, rest and stretch a few minutes relatively regularly. Signed log, TFTC

At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After I've spent a full year in Australia Pfote joined me for my second year down here. We will definitely try to collect a lot of boxes and all the special things in every state all around and right through the middle.
Now, after a bit more than twenty-four months we're finally on our last big journey through the country. From Melbourne to Adelaide and up north to Alice Springs and then past the Uluru via the great central road to Perth. Of course with a load of detours wherever we find something awesome.
This one was a quick and easy find.
TFTC and greetings from Germany.

#1628 Ahh carrots, we had some roasted ones with our remote roast last night, absolutely delish! We found the cache however it had been destroyed and the contents tipped out and ruined including the log book. We installed a temporary replacement (our salt was transferred to a ziplock bag for the remainder of our SA roadtrip) and we put a few sheets of paper in for logging purposes. TFTC Psalm 118:24.
A nice and easy find. Thanks for the break on the corrugations. Amazing number of zebra finches nearby.
What a lovely area to stop and stretch our legs. Took a fly, didn't think you'd miss one and left a cow to join the others. TFTC

Central Australia trip Crossing the Simpson and Innaminka, August 2014. After many years away from the Oodnadatta track and Innaminka, it was time for a another tour. This time in Company with seven cars to tackle the obstacles. Caching opportunities were a little thin, but the ones that were out here are all in great places. One of several roadside stops over the first few days of my trip. Thanks.

I agree, I love carrots
Delicious they are !!
Supposedly good for eyesight …
…. yeah right !! I still have problems seeing geocaches in the most obvious of places !!
But enough of my boring notes.
There was another boring place to be checked out and a cache to be found !!
Easy one !!
So that is one serve of veg for me today !!
I feel healthier for it [^]
And [red]don't camp here !![/red]
It is strictly verboten to camp within 500 metres of a bore, or dam or any stock watering hole
Bl@@dy tourists, wrecking it for everyone

Today I left Coober Pedy along the Oodnadatta Track into Roxby and headed home early due to heavy rain.

Many thanks for the cache.
We ventured further north from Port Augusta, for supplies before heading home via Marree, Oodnadatta, Coober Pedy, Mt Dare, and the Simpson Desert, after attending Oz Mega 2014.
We stayed at Coward Springs overnight, and continued our trip up the track. We were headed for Coober Pedy today, but specifically wanted to head to Lake Eyre.
After our trip our to Lake Eyre, we headed west towards Coober Pedy, for resupply and to see Mrs Bundys cousin. The road was officially open, but as we found out later- when we were talking to the road repair crew, they had actually advised to only open it to 4wds. They had pulled 3 young foreign tourists out of a bog between William Creek and Coober Pedy about an hour before we came past. We didn't pass these tourists on the road, so its believed they may have tried to get to Lake Cadi, and were probably stuck somewhere on that road. Not good. Ill equipped and ill informed as to outback travel.
All is good with the cache.
Cheers

The drive from William Creek to here was good to make, why the lady in the bar told about 4WD and low gear we would know some km furtheron to Coober Pedy. The rain and the cars had produced some interesting parts!
