Any luck on relocating it? I'm eager to find it - and also sick of seeing it appear in my search results
Looks like it's gone missing again - disabling this while I rethink it and try to come up with a different hiding place.
Joining the chorus od DNF's as I had the puzzle soon after researching the answers and visiting the area today - no sign of the cache and it hasn't been found since 2011. Really? It seems so, but the area looks to have had some searching. Any chance of confirmation that its there or not?
Just solved the puzzle with an online BASIC website.
After the two DNF's, I don't imagine I will find much if I look for it.
But I will log my find if I do, and DNF if I don't

I guess this is a DNF. I was able to figure out the BASIC enough to get the South coordinates but not the East coords so all I could really do was a recky at this park. But since it isn't particularly wide, I searched west to east along the South parellel (i.e. at the same latitude).
Nothing looked likely at the western edge but the other side looked more promising, but my assumed GZ and surroundings turned up nothing in the end.
A clever puzzle, and I like the puzzle caches, but this one has defeated me for now.

Very disappointed we could not find this one, having solved it manually yesterday afternoon. Initially thought we had found it, but it turned out to be a hair cream jar - with a small amount of haircream inside! Searched extensively, but no luck.
Find #862. Wow! We are so glad we can finally log this one as found! After so many months, we finally grabbed it. Too long we have been up here without the answer, too long have we had to wait to grab this cache!
To solve the cache I used the Excel approach, which a few others seemed to have done as well. So, with the answers at the ready - we decided it was time for a quick bike ride across Masterton on this sunny, windless midday.
We initially had the park to ourselves and began a search before being joined by a family who decided to start using the parks amenities. But - luckily for us the final cache was spied as we walked passed, and it was mostly out of view of the muggles.
With the completion of this cache, we are left with only one cache in Masterton to tackle... and I think everyone can guess which one that is! Cheers Graeme! SL TFTC.

#2617. Good to see this one back in action after being AWOL on our first visit. TFTC.
First to find replacement cache! This was disabled last time we were in Masterton, so we were keen to find it on our way through to Napier. I was still trying to get satellites when StreetWalker came up with the goods.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

Replaced the cache in the same location.
Still hoping to move it to a better location ...

Went to our storage unit this evening and after much searching I found my cache making & maintenance box - Phew! Moving house can be sooo inconvenient!
Checked on this cache this evening and it definitely appears to be gone ... again.
Took a look around the park for another suitable location ... tough, but I may have found one. If successful, I'll relocate and re-enable this cache, otherwise I'll archive it. - Pity.

Solved this back when it was published. A good trip down memory lane. As I was a bit rusty on BASIC, I thought I would be lazy and let Excel do it for me (in Visual Basic). It actually only required a few small translations and syntax changes and there was the answer! A nice easy find a GZ this afternoon.

A quick find on a day's cache hunting in the Wairarapa with CrystalFairy. Had solved the puzzle a long time ago and had been waiting for an opportunity to get here. Signed log, TFTC
5106 Solved a while ago… nice puzzle, worked it out manually rather than with the emulator. Thankfully, no problems locating the cache, many thanks for a fun puzzle.
Found the cache without the lid and the log sheet soggy, so replaced both, signed new log sheet. TFTC
A really fun puzzle and no problem at all to solve. My first computer was quite well set up to do that stuff but is long gone. A 'friend' quickly found a suitable replacement and I was programming away just like an old hand within minutes.
Bit of trouble actually locating the cache when I got to GZ so needed the help of another friend for an additional hint. Cache however is all good, nice and dry, just very well hidden.

Really enjoyed the puzzle, and had to re-engage some grey matter to complete. However initial search proved fruitless so back with the Waiiti20 team this morning who quickly found. TFTC
Found with the assistance of the Emvy_us team. Was good to familairise myself with Kandahar Home nearby which I have heard about in the past. TFTC.
Didn't take long to solve the puzzle.
I picked up a funny shaped stone to use to poke around and clear leaves and stuff away from where I thought the cache was. After a bit of searching I looked at my stone and noticed that it had teeth and was actually part of an animal jaw. I reverted to searching with my hands and soon found the cache.
Thanks.

Thanks for that, CrystalFairy.
I have checked the cache and you replaced it in the correct location. It is well covered up again (just a slight tweak from me), so hopefully it will be OK for now. I'll look at improving it's hiding place further.

Found the cache lying on the floor missing the lid.. Suggest owner go have a look and see.. Have hidden it where I thought it would have been hidden..
Thanks for the puzzle and cache..

Solved a while back, you know it is hard when you go and search for a cache and it isnt there, but sent Mrs Yeetrees on a mission today and asked her to get it as she was in Masterton visiting a friend, just love it when things totally fall into place, thanks for the interesting puzzle, nice spot for a final as well, TFTC TNLNSL (1658)
Got the solution to the puzzle a while ago, happened to be in Masterton today and noticed the cache was up and going again, called past and found after a brief search, before heading to QEII park for lunch. SL TFTC
"Burling's Bounty" is back - better than before ... I hope!
Hopefully it it survive much longer this time as I have stashed it much better than my original placement ... much less chance of accidental finding or removal. Please remember to hid it well.

This appears to have gone AWOL. - I'll plant a replacement soon (may be a few weeks).
Had a good look for this one after waiting for a muggle to leave GZ, but once he did, we searched for about 20 minutes, we were sure that we were at the correct coordinates, and decided to check with the owner who conformed to us that it was missing so that was a bit off a bugger, will need to have words with him when we touch base in Gisborne, Until next time!!!
