Am going to open this one up to someone else who can maybe get a bit more sneaky hide here. We have lost a couple of caches from this park.
Thanks I will review the spot as it has been muggled a couple of times now it may need some more thought.
My friends and I didn't find this one today, but we had gone too late and it was dark and we were using our phones as flashlights. We will retry another time during the day
Looked and scratched all over, dug and hunted. No find, had to give up due to muggle dog barking and attracting attention. Wonder if that dog is the reason for the cache name?

Lots of possible hiding spots, found after some digging. TN left heart ribbon. TFTC.
Searched around the obvious spot for a long time using a probing stick a fellow cacher left leaning on the chair hearby. Stood back and thought where I would hide it. Found it safe and sound. Was distracted by a photo in a previous log in my initial search.
What a wonderful little park, but it's so sad to see no one using it and the park not being kept clean. The cache was a quick and easy find. TNLNSL TFTC
GPS was not playing nice so we looked in the most obvious spot and found it easily. TFTC.
A short visit to Brisbane so grabbing a few caches while we have a few hours free.... Quiet in this park today Thanks Wells Inc 4TC
Found with Pureluck77.....just wish we had the kids with us! Great hide, TFTC!
I'm guessing it was a bit damp when the tide came in around here. Better to have a park and a cache than a house on such low lands.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
# 991. We walked across the park to this one and I couldn't see where there may have been a house and the park now expanded, as mentioned in a previous log, but maybe that was so...... We found the hide and signed log and off to the next one. TFTC
It has been interesting today visiting some of the locations that went underwater in the 2011 floods.
The cache was found in the obvious spot after a short walk
Thanks

Found. Navigated by aerial map and was wondering why it was telling me i was in the middle of a house. House must of been a victim of the floods an has been removed and the park expanded. It was only when I returned to my car I noticed it had parked on the old driveway
Finally - I managed to get this beast!
I had been one of the first here after the floods and the poor thing was gone then. The neighbourhood is looking a bit brighter - and not nearly as heartbreaking as last time.
Today, I made my way over to GZ. After a bit of a fossick, I soon had it in hand. It is in good condition. Good to see the playground is in a happy state too. TFTC Wells Inc

Nice quick grab. Shame Amelia was sleeping or we could have had a play.

Pretty special to have your BBQ actually in a lake! Lakeside I've heard of, but this is ridiculous . Skirted the sodden playground and headed for GZ, where I searched the wrong object and The Marble directed her attention to the correct spot, finding it quickly. The muggles in the house nearby came out, but we were so quick that I don't think there was any cause for suspicion. Swam back to the car and off to the next stop. TFTC, Wells Inc. =^.^=
Yesterday's rain meant you practically had to swim to the BBQ and table today but luckily, if you were careful where you walked, you could avoid wetting your feet too much as you made your way to GZ. Cache was found nice and dry. Thanks Wells Inc.
Couldn't help but grab a couple of cache's along Ipswich Road today as we were driving past. Not the best weather to be caching in, but it was worth it to get the few extra smilies. Pulled up near GZ and had a good idea where it would be. We were using an iPhone today and the maps on there showed a large white house on the parks right, it appears to have moved since the satellite imagery was taken. Almost had to wade over to GZ given the rainfall, but almost immediately I had the cache in my hands.

We pulled into this little park to find a backhoe working in the yard behind . I jumped out, and headed to GZ, while Janine fed 9 month old Tyler in the car. I soon realised that i was out of sight of the backhoe driver (i say driver, and not operator .. because he didn't look like he knew what he was doing )
I hunted around for a minute, before i felt the treasure in it's hidey hole. I added our name to the log, before returning it and covering it over again. I still don't get the name of it though [?]. TFTC Wells Inc

The day I visited there were workmen here so I had to hang around for a while looking like I was doing some kind of research. Also got a photo of the BBQ for GCA while i was there. Handy seat to sit on while signing log. Chatted to workmen and drove off. Good quiet place for a cache. No traffic to speak of.
Somehow I missed logging this one.... found some weeks back on the way back from pickup up some photos around the corner.... actually managed to almost get bogged ... was all alone so that wasn't ideal :/
In the end was a quick find despite the wet weather.... park was closed off when i was there as well

The play equipment is still out of action. All was quiet, and no strange smells either. Nice quick find - you have to get lucky sometimes
It was raining a lot by the time I got to this one this afternoon so umbrella in one hand, GPS in the other I set off from the car. The playground is fenced off for some reason at the moment and the long grass took no time making sure my feet got wet. GPS pointed to a likely spot so a walk around and I spotted a good spot and sure enough, there was the cache on closer inspection. Opened the cache and inside was nice and dry. Signed log, replaced and headed off. TFTC Wells Inc
This one had me at first, I was in and out and all of this one. Still nothing!!!!! I even took my tweezers out as I was expecting a tight one.
All I can say is this one is well covered! Cache is in Good condition.
Thanks for the Cache.

The dog in the back yard was really not happy when we arrived and when the muggle owner came downstairs with his own torch it was time for us to take off. Another time.
At the moment the park is cornered off so geokids did not get a play today and the smell - pheeewwweeee!! stinky!!!! I have no idea what the smell was but it was rank!!! anyway, found the cache without too much trouble - few muggles around moving lawns etc but were very discreet. tftc wells inc
Out for a big day on the bike again.
A great little park hidden away. I was here really early so no one was awake to see me. LOL

A nice quick find while dropping family off at the Brisbane International. TFTC Wells Inc!
TFTC. A little oasis in the area. We were nearly muggled by the dad and kids from next door, playing on the swings.
Found at 5:21 AM while out for a morning walk. A bush turkey paid me some careful attention while I was making my search.

On the way to Bunnings thought we'd stop for a swing. Cache was empty of swaps so left a Lego brick. TFTC
Easy find. The cache container was lying on the ground but intact and contents were fine so we placed it where we thought it was meant to have been. The very strong winds probably just blew it away from its proper hiding place.

Thought I'd go for a drive in my lunch hour seeing as the location was just up the road.
Lots of work going on but no one seemed to pay any notice to me as I wandered aimlessly around this small park, thankfully!
Was my first find and relatively easy!!

Couldn't find it after some pretty intensive investigation, then suddenly noticed it on the ground nearby! Replaced it securely with decent camo, so hopefully good to go now. Thanks W Inc.
Cute park. Nice to see the area coming back to life after the January floods. First cache find without Lordcache
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Nice quick find on our way into uni this afternoon. Although the street was busy with restoration workers we did not require to much stealth. It's good to see the area slowly recovering from the floods.

I kinda thought it might be there but as it was out of my view I moved on Yeah ok Mr Gap one to you finally..
Arrived here with Ms Wig, and this one took a bit of searching.
I eventually spotted this and then realised why Ms Wig hadn't seen it
Spent a bit of time looking at the nearby houses and trying to imagine what must have happened here in the flood.
Thanks Wells Inc

I have replaced this cache. The last one is deffinately swimming in the pacific now as the area was totally under water. The park BBQ and play equipment has been cleaned up and is now reopen for fun.
Had a fairly good look for this one. As previously reported the area has been under considerable water. Please check or archive..thanks.
Nice quick find once we navigated appropriately. I wonder how often the bbq gets used. Thanks Wells Inc
What a great name for a cahe ,yes there were dogs yapping the whole time we were there ,so we were in and out as quick as we could
Nice little park and hunt. I love all the dogs. Nice little park, but after caching for a short while you find these little parks all over Brisbane happy hunting all
Found during a raid on Brisbane with The Rats, Big Matt and Shell and Steeba.
Yap Yap went the next door dog but we got there anyway. TFTC.

#4437 Found this cache as part of a recent brissy raid along with Steeba, Big Matt and Farmer Frentzen. Back into suburbia and an easy find as we went around the streets.
Thanks

Found this cache with FarmerFrentzen, steeba and The Rats on our 2010 Brisbane Invasion Trip. This was our 4233rd overall find. This cache was our 67th out of 101 for the day.
Found at about 4:19 PM. How I love a barking dog when your trying to be quiet...
Thanks to Wells Inc for the cache.

A quick find in a small surburban park watched by two nather noisy canine muggles. TFTC
Out this afternoon with Mrs Ant and geobub, grabing a few caches. This was second last on the list and timely as geobub was getting pretty fed up of being stuck in the car seat, so while see had a play on the equipment I hunted down the cache.
Found pretty quickly and before the surrounding dogs knew I was there.

Nice new log to sign. Every house around GZ has a dog and they are all barking. Hard to be stealthy in that sort of environment.

Sadly you are right and our cache is gone missing . We will update it soon with another one. Wells Inc
Did not find this one and I had to practically drag the normally eagle-eyed m44 away from her search. She hates to lose so this one wasn't very funny for her. Especially as the previous one we searched for was a DNF also...
This one may need looking at.

Too hot for yappas today! Waited for the neighbour to retreat inside and then it was a quick find. TNLN - TFTC
No tractor, no dogs, no muggle neighbours about just a quite Sunday morning. Well maybe there was more than enough noise from the golf course to make up.
Another no idea this was here spot and I worked around the corner many, many moons ago.

What a lovely and little gem here. I would love to bring a family to have picnic here. Thank for the cache. Note: TB Welington womble is not in the cache.
Found by Sunshine Toledo, Jinga 2 and MrsMum at 3:02pm. The local yappa was very quiet; we only heard him once. There was, though, a BCC worker fixing the power box in the park so we hid behind his car and the many trees to cover what we were doing. TFTC
I knew I was in the right place as I rode the bike through the park to GZ
I could hear I was in the right place.
Unlike other yappa's this one actually stops after a couple of minutes and I enjoyed a nice peaceful half hour lunch stop in the shade of GZ [^]
The cache was a nice easy find and I rehid it with more of the palm tree's woven artistry
TFTC.

No dogs today but there were 4 kids playing on the equipment. As best we could tell they ignored me and once out of sight we grabbed the cache. There was no cover at all. Replaced and covered with sticks.

I lived in the general area for years but had never ventured down here.
A lovely little park. I wonder how much use it gets?
Found the cache but wasn't expecting the size so I didn't have swaps on me. TFTC

No sign of Yappa this morning in fact, dog count was Zero. I snuck in and out without being spotted by any of the local dogstabulary....
ONce at GZ the cache was in hand very quickly. The cover had dissappeared leaving the container in plain view. I did what I needed to do and replaced the cache with plenty of cover to keep it safe... [^]
Ducked back to the Gunniemobile for a stealthy escape...
Cheers Carolynw.

I counted 5 dogs today. Only 3 of 'em were yapping, but it still made me nervous. Sat on the seat for a while and made some "phone calls". When they lost interest in me, I grabbed the cache. TN/LN/SL. As I left, one of them spotted me and the yapping started all over again. Glad I don't live near that park.
