Annoyingly my closest cache to my "Bat Lair" - what I call home in Melbourne. I've had a good search late at night and alas can't find that it may have dropped somewhere.
Lovely artwork over GZ, and I love catching the esculator up and walking past the Gondola, Plant sculptures and "Coming Home" sculpture.
Hopefully it will be replaced
Cheers

I also had a good look but no luck, should have read the logs first. I reckon it's long gone and CO has been previously notified so time to archive.
Wish I had read the logs before bothering to swing by this one! No luck for us either and with all the other recent DNFs it may have gone walkies.
Was in the area so checked this one out,
not many muggle's around but could not locate,

Ich konnte diesen Geocache nicht finden, möglicherweise habe ich nächstes mal mehr Glück!
Unfortunately, no find. Tried all the places I would hide the little bugger but turned up nothing.
Pretty sure I had the right GZ but was unable to find any sign of a cache. Even checked the ground for a misplaced cache but no luck. Will keep an eye on this one.
Visited the cache today with a fellow cacher. I'd found this one nearly 12 months ago. The cache certainly isn't here. Hope it can be replace soon.
Better half was busy shopping so time to cache in Melbourne and see if I can find some I missed last visit before heading home tomorrow.

Nice quick easy find even with gps playing up!! Signed log as EB as log book is full. TFTC.
Interesting location for a cache. We looked in the wrong area the widened our search and cache was soon in hand.

Found this one today. I have previously looked and thought I knew where it was but had always been defeated by muggles. Today I was determined to find this cache and there weren't significant muggles around so I was able to look a bit more thoroughly. On expanding the search, I found this one and signed the log though it was very full.
Thanks for the cache iamapom. I think this one finishes the series so thanks for the series iamapom.

Staying at the intercontinental about 20 meters from here so an awesome start to a day of caching.
On holiday in Melbourne and a chance to get 1000 caches, this is #980. Easy find but then the stream of smokers arrived for the fix. Had to hang around for ages til they all went back to work and I could return the cache to it hiding place. TFTC
Quick find again after a good hint. Nano log was a bit easier to handle but is pretty full. Thanks iamapom for a number of caches today.
#18 of 20 in a day of "putting CJ's body through a grinder". Having tackled a whole bunch of caches in the Oakleigh/Glen Iris/Ashburton area, I had no choice but to take the last Alamein train to the city (otherwise I was stuck). To fulfill my quota, I decided to take on some city caches. This was one of the ones I'd had lined up for a while, and it was good to get around to it. Despite being a Saturday night/Sunday morning, it was also reasonably muggle-free. Cheers for the cache!
This one was offline when we last tried it, so it was good to be able to get it today. An interesting history lesson. Thanks for the cache.
Initially thought I wouldn't have any luck with this as the gate was closed. But after a bit of searching about I managed to locate the wee cache.
Thanks!
Thanks!
This has earnt a favourite point from me because of its HISTORY. The GPS led us to something a few metres away...."but,but this isn't a lane?????"......"NO, but this might have been once upon a time"
Your hint should say rusty....the rust is so very historic!!!! I wonder the tale of the actual GZ rust spot, aside from the lane itself.

The gate was open when I arrived with a few suits floating around. After a short wait, they went through the gate closing it behind them. Not too many spots to hide a cache here but it still took a while to find. Signed an abbreviated name on the log and popped it carefully back in place. TFTC
34/35 of our cache route on our Melbourne trip from Brisbane. Unfortunately we ran out of time to look for this cache since we needed to catch a flight back home. Disappointed we didn't get to search this one since we enjoyed the Melbourne's Lanes series that we visited.

Picked this one up once the smokers left the area but stealth was required as it was during a busy lunch hour. Enjoyed the search. TFTC
Katy had a Chocolate Walk in the CBD today, so Trent decided to go along and do some caching in the CBD with Katy's nephew Nick (aka Nick1121231234). We met up at Freshwater Place at Southbank and started our adventure there. All up 15 caches found whilst walking the CBD in around 3 hours.
We made our way to this cache, reading description on the way. On arrival to GZ Trent looked in one spot, Nick the other. BAM three from three, Nick showing the way coming home with a flourish. We signed the log and replaced.
Thanks for the cache iamapom.

found this cache whilst on a trip to Melbourne for the week to see a few comedy gigs and a few bands play. I had to wait out an angry lady on her phone but when she left I swooped in for the grab. Thanks for the cache
Found easily enough, despite the GPS struggling on this one. Never knew about this lane, it's very cool.
A none-too-difficult Nano. I'm visiting from S.A. and enjoying another wander around the Melbourne streets. TFTC <>
2nd time lucky quick easy find. Thanks to the phatom no gps required this time! Tftc.
I was in town for a conference and needed a long walk after sitting down for the day, so picked this one up as part of the loop. Definitely smelly, but interesting, and quite bizarre that it's effectively been built over.

Unbelievable amount of muggles wandering the street at 1.30am, I guess to the nightclub strip close by. So took our time enjoying the mural as we waited for the moment. Replaced the full log.
The last it was not possible to find this one. Today I found it in a minute.
The logbook is full. I found a little gap to sign ion.

Quite hidden! But we found it after we read the description and didn't ask our GPS anymore, as this was just too confused and the accurancy was shown to be 100m!
It's a very special little lane!

While in Melbourne for the toy and nursery trade show we got some time to grab a few caches. After dinner we went out for some night caching. Thanks Iamom. Cheers
GPS was not helping this time but after a short hunt for the GZ we soon had it in hand. TFTC
Circled unnecessarily up and around before our morning coffee took effect. Soon enough, though, we found the cache in the obvious place. The log is more than full--we left bb (for bmrbabe) and EL (for me, of course) initials in a miniscule white space. No chooks in sight--TFTC!
Found with Noo82 en route to the bus terminal on our last morning in Melbourne. Easy find with clue. Log full, did not sign. TFTC.
Grabbed this one on our way out of town.

Found straight away, only initials could be left as log book completely full. TooK advantage of the nice hotels facilities whilst here.tftc
Carl, theres no room left in log, only fit initials on. Not even date. Get onto it, I can recommend a good supplier for logbooks if you need help:)
Got it. Sneaky beggar, I'm sure I looked here last time but...is mine now (the smilie at least)
Attempted this one today - worked out where it was but too many muggles to search today. I will be back.
Early morning in Melbourne is always beautiful. You get a sense of peace and quiet yet you know the place is just about to be filled with people going about their daily business. A good time for caching!
I have wandered past here previously, usually late at night heading off from a local establishment. The view from above was just great. A view into old time Melbourne.

Picked this one on a lunchtime cache run. I spent a few minutes looking around the GZ (for some reason the alley was closed, even though it was the middle of a weekday), and was about to give up - but as I was walking away I took one look over my shoulder, and saw the hide. Nice!
Being visitors to your fair city, we approached this cache with a healthy dose of apprehension only to be pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the location. An interesting bit of history, and good cache placement. TFTH.
Heading back to the hotel after visiting Eureka tower, I made a quick detour down the lanes.
My gps was bouncing all around the place.
It finally settled down then it was a quick grab.
The log was full, but with my purple pen i was able to sign over old ones.
thanks iamapom [:x]

A case of da ju vue. I'm sure we've looked for a cache here before. This time was easy, until we went to replace the cache... 9am smoking muggle! But my nut is practised at stretching as passing by....
thanks for the trip back here!
thanks for the trip back here!
We were lucky enough to find this one immediately and stepped away from GZ for the signing. We had to cool our heels with an inspection of 'upstairs' while a muggle stood ad GZ with a ciggy and coffee.
Perfect timing!

Just used google maps rough position to find this one. GPS was a waste of time in between the building. Was a bit disappointed when I got here and the gate to the lane way was closed but still managed to find it. TFTC.
On a visit into the city to see the Xmas lights and decorations we decided to rack up a couple of caches.
On our city walk from the the casino heading towards Bourke street to see the Myer Windows, we walked bast this area to grab this hidden cache. The GPS was no help at all so a bit of reading and a check of the hint saw us closer to GZ. Our little nano queen found this one and the log was signed and we were off again. TFTC Iampom.

I had a poke around for this one but too many morning business muggles. TFTH anyway
Finished work early today so went around to find some city caches, This is my second only of that size and was amazed to feel and find it.
As i was opening it around the corner and pulling out the log. Someone came and tapped me on the shoulder, i thought i had been seen and about to be questioned. But it was a guy from work waiting over the road and wondering what i was doing in a lane way.
Talked my way out of it and didn't reveal a thing, Fun afternoon.
Also as other have said the log is quite full at the moment.

Also this cache was on my way back to the hotel. After a short search in the dark I could find it.

Due to finding Ring of Fire the night before, the hint was all I needed to make an easy find. An amazing little city lane. It's a shame it has been closed off.

1319km from home.
Stayed on the train through to Flinders Street and then took a walk along the Yarra picking up a few caches on the way back to the motel. Eventually found myself here and after a bit of a search found this cleverly hidden urban resident in its hide. Have to come clean I my GPS had me all over the place and it was only after looking at the hint that I made the find.
Left or leave our tag, took nothing but memories and left nothing but footprints (Not that anyone will see them on the footpath).
Hide, log and container are all in good nick.
Thanks for the cache iamapom.

Well if ever there was a cache named to put you off! Not usually a fan of urban caches this is exactly the type that is brilliant. The thought that it sits there 24 hours a day with hundreds of thousands of people passing and not knowing - love it.
Thanks imapom
Definitely needs a new log book though

In the city for some training, I'd had a look at some other caches but had muggle trouble getting at them so come lunch time I thought I'd have a look at this one. I passed GZ, doubled back and dislodged the cache trying to locate it but a quick snatch and I was about to wander off to record my visit in the log when a passer-by asked for a light. I wasn't sure if it was another cacher but it seems not. Anyway, after unrolling lots of log scroll I found a blank spot and wrote a compact entry (unlike some previous finders...) a minute spent neatly rolling it back up and repacking it, then a quick walk-by rehide and job done This cache got me out of trouble so I could spend the evening in a more relaxed manner seeking out another cache and making a start on a new multi-stage, multi-disciplinary one.
