Sounds like it is a gone burger.... Never mind. As a lot of cachers found the spot had been used for some foul purposes I will not re-enstate this one. Happy caching!
After a long time searching and trying to avoid muggles as they passed by on the track, we failed in our mission. We have the feeling it may have been muggled.
3 of us looked for a good 30mins. Unable to find, maybe muggles have been visiting.
Have had a great look and twice this one is showing us that we must be Blind!!!! Grrrrr will try once more before we leave. So off to the next cache.
Last one before heading to the ferry after a quick weekend away.

Nice spot. Unfortunately I have to agree with Bitsprayer's comments - I just don't get why some people are so lazy. Left the Cherry casino token for someone else as I brought it to New Zealand from Austria 5 months ago TFTC #1276
Nice spot apart from were the cache is, it's looks like the toilets are to far away for most people.
Thanks Bitsprayer
Thanks Bitsprayer
It was easy to find but a lot of people think this can be used as a toilet. It looks and smells not nice.
1st cache of the day - travelling from Picton to West Coast with Ariestiger + nephew Ben. This is a great place to have a look around and get some lunch, shame we couldnt stay longer! TOOK Geocoin LEFT TB. TFTC

TFTC - our 16th find of the day. A personal best! Went from Kaikoura to Picton in 8 hours.
Had a quick hunt before catching the ferry, but ran out of time before we could find it. Will try again next time we visit
#1266. (4/24, day 2/4 of Easter trip to Blenheim). Nice placement in what can be a high muggle zone. TFTC.
We were a bit worried when we saw all the muggles about, but nicely hidden in a secluded spot.
TFTC.

Hi,

This was the 12th day of our vacation in New Zealand. This was our 72nd cache. We are staying in a hotel looking over the harbor of Picton. Beautiful view. Tomorrow we are going on the ferry to Wellington. Quick find after dinner at the Dogs and Frogs. Out TB. Thanks and greetings from The Lowlandfamily from The Netherlands.
Great Hide, but my GPS didn't match the co-ordinates exactly - close enough!

Found on a family outing. Caught someone at it (geocaching that is) Picked up gator TB.
Nice park for families, friendly ducks and met another cacher and some minicachers. TFTC
Very busy here today with free rock concert going on nearby. But no trouble to sneakily find. We only just popped out of hiding and immediately ran into a muggle acquaintance. A very close call!

We found this cache with Standa.Sefl during our holiday in New Zealand. New Zealand has very nice nature, thanks for all nice places. Greetings from Czech republic.
We spent great four weeks caching in NZ. NZ nature and the caches are amazing. Thanks for all the caches, the great adventure and greetings from Czech Republic.
Nice One!!!!!!!! Overlooked logging on the day of the find. Sunday afternoon Muggle reunion, so quick find and quicker sign. Great day caching on the other side of the "hill". Home via the valley. Much fun. Thanks

After 3 weeks at New Zealand and my homecoming I'm loging all my finds...
Short stop for an icecream after arrival from the North island.
Thanks.

A beautiful day, perfect for a stroll along the waterfront. An easy find, thankfully. TFTC took dice and left a fridge magnet.
Watch for muggles if a Ferry is in. Shocked at one of the contents . Not very well hidden when we found it so made sure it was put back securely.
Another busy little cache today. The access route made sense once we got there!! Luckily no trains passing today, so we made the find without too much trouble.
No coins in the cache when we visited??? TNLN TFTC

Found it before joining the queue for the ferry. Took a bit of a search but not too hard in the end. TFTC, Biggles.
Found this on my way back to the cruise ship.
We were cruising from Sydney to Auckland.
Co-ordinates were right on.
Thanks for the hide.

First find in Picton. Lucky it was evening and not too many people about. TFTC
Found this one early in the morning before there were to many people about. TFTC TNLN
Very clever clue - when you thought it through. We liked this one - not so many muggles about so we could have a good hunt. TNLN. TFTC.
We must have looked abit dodgy getting this one, as quite a few walkers seemed to be watching our walking route, pleased it was not too busy. TFTC.
Our first cache on the South Island and departure cache for our very first TB (trying to get back to Belgium). It's possible the date is a bit off, don't remember exactly what day we passed along. Very nice cache, thanx!
Jr taybee has this own account how am logging this old find under his new Username (Jr taybee) was log as part of taybee team
Jnr Taybee is back in the south Island see his Nana in picton and is doing Geocach with this auntie.

Caching with Taybee junior. This is one of his favourite play grounds...also one of mine when I was small. TFTC
Our very very last on the 'mainland' as we were about to drive onto the interislander.
It's actually a great park for the kids here.

found at 3.22pm ,not long off ferry ,heading south on bicycle ride from cape reinga to bluff caching as I go,made for a nice easy find TFTC
Quick find. Took aussie GC. Had to hide behind the rocks while the train went past!. TFTC
A nice end to a wonderful two days caching in Marlborough. Found before boarding the 6.05pm ferry to Wellington. TFTC,
Can't actually claim to have found this one - TheB0rg found it while I was returning the rental car. Just thought I'd record the fact that I was nearby
[201] True to the cache's description we found this while waiting for the Picton ferry - Found with 10 mins to spare then boarded for Wellington. Excellent day here and a great place to hide a cache in a very densely populated park! Thanks for the fun...
Took a bit of looking - don't understand part of the clue about a plant out of place - but got it! Pity no young children with us for the railway. TFTC.
Searched a few places and bumped into a person whos son is a geocaching in the UK.. Went for an ice cream afterwards..
This cache will be archived in about a month (1st Feb) as on 2nd thoughts it is not the best place for a cache. Cheers.
Quick find in one of the few dry spots today. Pity some muggles use the area as a toilet. I was a bit nervous about where it was safe to put my hands. but all was good.tftc.
Found early on New Years day after dropping young Burlis at the ferry terminal. A few people starting to venture out after previous nights celebrations but generally pretty quiet at GZ. This made for an easy find. TFTC
I think it was this date... returned to this spot on a wet day as it was so busy here when it was sunny a few days before. Thanks

We parked approx 200m from the GZ, walked up the main street to get our dinner of burgers and chips before sitting within 100m of the GZ. Once we were full and as the northerly started to cool us down a bit too much we headed for the cache.
Pinetree found it as Sunrise and Bubble watched the ducks.
TNLNSL TFTC
NOTE: at least four clumps of toilet paper and who knows what else within a 2m radius of the GZ - not very pleasant.
We have noticed quite a few of the more tourist-frequented locations where caches have been placed are getting the "freecamping" treatment - very sad to see
Cheers Pinetree and Sunrise plus Bubble

Before leaving South Island looking for caches in Picton. Found it quite difficult to find the cache. But enjoyed the search.
easy find placed geocoin. but forgot to note the number from it. could someone please send me the number so that i can log that i shifted it.
It took a while to find but I got it in the end. Logging some coins and a TB through.
Had a good quite hunt at dusk and couldn't find it before my ferry crossing. Checked the location suggested in the hint, but fairly certain it it gone. Cheers Gav
Today going from Nelson to Kaikoura.Should be called the "Cacher route" This was not to find in 30 Minutes.
We think it should be at the rocks with raills in between. Searched some meters arround, but....nil. No unusual plant and no chache.
Maybe muggeled ??

We did a double visit today. The first was with the GPS when we decided it had to be there. But too many muggles enjoying the sun at lunchtime on a holiday weekend. Returned about 4pm and, although still busy, it was much quieter near GZ. Picked up TB. Left nothing. TFTC
And our final cache in the South Island for this trip - and a lovely spot it is too, on a beautiful day - the sun is finally shining brightly! Left Solve this TB. Thanks for the hunt, Mordor&Andre
Great little hide - thanks. Plenty of kids enjoying the fun - but easy enough to find the quiet spot to claim the find. TFTC after the trip across on the ferry.
Rolled after the ferry at 5:30am and straight to this one. Needless to say no muggles were encountered so a nice quick find.

After a coffee and catch up with my Aunt in a nearby cafe, this listing popped up nice and close.
a quick wander over and success. TNLN Thanks.

Quick find, had to be quick to avoid circling motorised muggles. Dropped off TB. TFTC
[ Found at 1915 NZDT when returning from CHC to AKL, fairly quiet at this time of evening. An easy find this time after 'prop' replaced and (maybe) relocated. Left a 'Koru' token, nil out. An interesting area and hide. Many thanks.]
Beautiful Sunday and what better than to stroll the town and some tracks finding a cache to make you smile. Nice hide here. Traveling all around NZ, first time here frm California. If we were ever to leave the sunny coast we live on, this would be a fair trade. Love NZ. T Ethan TB, L Earthday goecoin
Found ourselves here after a suggestion by Mr KE to go for a blat here and back to Nelson for the evening. Was a little wet and windblown, and the lake was overflowing! Some crafty misdirection by Mr KE (or did I do it to myself?) saw me looking in all the wrong places, and I got the reward of a dry warm car because Mr KE happened to find it where the GPS zeroes out! (fancy that). Right, that's Picton empty again! TFTC
