Got this one on the return from our trek up the hill. Had to be quick as a few muggles around. Cache in good order. Tftc
Found this cache on a combined business and private journey to Western Australia Great National Park although I was a bit late and it got dark on the drive.TFTC and greetings from Austria
We arrived at the Park a bit late, but it was a nice drive around. Just had time for this quick walk. Thanks
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. Some of the last IGD caches AND some of the folowers are finally coming out
Apologies - this is a late IGD23 log! I thought the list of caches I found over that weekend were lost forever... but was recently discovered in one of my camping boxes. Why oh why did I put it in there!? ?? This afternoon I took a drive out to pick up the Monopoly series and was keen to check out Mt Lesueur along the way. Wish I had more time to spend here - I will be back to get the cache at the top! Consoled myself with this one, but had to sit and wait for ages for a family to move on - they were fascinated with the dieback cleaning station and played with it so much it seemed like they broke the mechanism. And then they casually strolled off... Cache was a nice quick find after they left! TFTC
Found with 365SA, Geotrakka and Geodog M on my birthday adventures. TFTC guys ️
Out on a girls road trip for IGD with Neva2old, Rainbowscjaz and 365suicideprevention. Ive been wanting to come up here for a while now. So worth the trip. What a beautiful view and the wildflowers are just starting to pop out.
Many thanks mackerals for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. This will be my 6715 find.

Hitting the road for IGD2023 in Jurien Bay. Looking forward to a great weekend! I’ve only been to Jurien Bay once in my life, and that was for a lunch stop on the way to Geraldton, so it will be good to spend some time in town. Naturally the drive up and back were caching missions in their own right, with the objective to clean up the new placements. Plenty of new and old caches in town too, that I am yet to have touched up in my last trip. This cache was one of this weekend’s many stops. Cheers mackerals!
MR OOH YEH decided to head to jurien bay a couple of days early to go fishing and with time to kill before checking in to his accommodation he went out picking up caches. The weather wasnt the best but the roads were good as he had the jetski on the back of the car so he had no problems doing all the caches. TFTC
Today we walked in Lesueur NP and climbed up Mt Lesueur. What a beautiful day it was, perfect views from all directions. Different vegetations to observe and admire. Found this cache before we started walking. Over thought it here, but found it in the end. TFTC
Find 1 of 14 with 1 DNF. Mr O wanted to walk the Yonga Trail before it got too hot and this was the only weekend we could come and overnight in Jurien Bay for an early start. Mrs O's knees didn't fancy the full loop and opted to make Mr Lesueur her far point.
Having taken a tumble on the way up Mrs O wasn't altogether happy across the rocky path to this cache but it was a quick find on arrival and it marked the far point of her adventure.
TFTC Mackerals.

A bit of searching but luckily found it after our walk to the top! Lots of spikey plants around.
The cache was replaced after the needs maintenance log by a fellow cacher (see log 4-9-20)
and has been no issues since.

Not quite what we were looking for, the cache has appeared to have shrunk over time, but we found after a short search. First time cacher mildandcob came up with the goods with Lexiloooo along as well. Thanks for the cache Mackerals.

Thanks mackerals for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Nice easy find on in a beautiful place on a lovely winters day. TFTC. No pen, so photo included
Enjoyed the walk but it was too late in the day and therefore too hot for two old codgers to walk to the next one. We got half way & abandoned the attempt.....one day.....maybe. However the Park is beautiful & I don't think we would have found it but for geocaching so thank you so much for bringing us here. TFTC
Found it thanks for the hide, forgot to bring a pencil so I couldn’t sign log but I took the travel bug and took a nice walk up to the top.
Nice easy find, unfortunately we don’t all have the right footwear for the rest of the walking tracks but we will be back another time. Thank you
After completing the cycle track caches geo-hubby and Mr ILT set off the grab the caches in Mt Lesueur NP. Brought a replacement container (sistema) which we placed at posted co-ords.
Thanks Mackerals

After nearly 6 sedentary months, time for megawat60 and I to take a little road trip! A lovely drive and walk through the Mount Lesueur NP, and a cache to find. Sadly it is in a bad state with the lid cracked and deteriorated and we had nothing to wrap it up in or replace it. Tried to place it with a bit of cover but not many rocks around! Anyway, signed the wet log with our powertank pen and grabbed 2 TB’s that were swimming inside. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing us here.
Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
A great time exploring this park and some of the surrounds, sadly the cache container needs to be replaced and unfortunately we had nothing suitable with us. Hopefully the next cacher can bring a new container.
Thanks for the hide and mackerals.

On our way back to Perth we made a stop at the Lesueur Nationalpark and walked to the top of the Mt. Lesueur. The cache was really easy to find. I left the TB there.
We have 2 months for holiday in Australia. My aim is to find every day a Cache. This is our 26th day and my 27th logged Cache.
On the way to the Nationalpark we saw a blue tongued stink:

Today we would take our time to do the Mount Lesueur Walk. We liked the flora, but were not really impressed by the views. It was a good practice for our legs and it was nice to be able to find both Geocaches.
This one was out in the open, so if you find the right place it’s very easy.
TFTC!

On our way home from the Murchison so we cached out another area, happy to say we came up trumps and drove away with a smilie after exploring this amazing area TFTC
Finally found it, took longer than expected. Really is a nice time of the year to be here. Thank you for the cache.
Nice and easy geocache found on the way to Mt. Lesueur. Few plants already blooming along the way up. Thanks for the cache!
After visiting the Stockyard Caves, we continued and had a nice drive through the Mt Lesueur park. TFTC!
Out today to find more caches in the Green Head Jurien area. This was one of them. TFTC
We easily found this cache... Once we started looking on the correct side of the path
Thanks for putting a cache here.
Let's walk the trail now!

Staying in Leeman with the Copwots on a 3 day fishing trip. Unfortunately the weather keeped us on land today so we filled in the time getting a few caches.

Second day in Jurien Bay, early in the morning we took a swim in Jurien bay. After the swim we drove to Green Head and the surroundings. We walked the glacier like dunes, and the great views on the coastline. In the late afternoon we also drove trough the NP of Lesueur! We ended at the cemetary of Jurien Bay, of course not for getting buried, but for logging my first multicache in Australia! It was another great day again! Tomorow we'll drive to Kallbari! Fasten your seatbelts!
We could spot 2 kangoroos on the parking place!

Headed here to catch the wildflowers however the rain left them sleeping and not in full bloom. Although a silver lining when me and my nephew found this geocache. Thanks for the cache.
On an extended trip and just loving Western Australia and time to visit another great National Park. Always a bonus to have a cache to find whilst there. TFTC Mackerals
Found after widening my search a little.
Great views and good wildflowers.
Thanks FTC

Stopped at this cache whilst on a roadtrip with Eliktrisiti. We didn't find as many caches in the Geraldton area as we had hoped for, and after being home for a week or so, I have decided that the motto I would adopt for these logs would be this: It isn't the destination that is important, it is the journey!
In a nutshell, we had fun and that is what it is all about. Great company, lots of interesting locations, good variety of caches, even got to meet one of the local geocachers while out and about, and of course, we came home with a whole swag of smileys.
This cache was found on the homeward journey. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Mackerals.

Visiting the spectacular park with it's many Wildflowers. TFTC. Agree that coordinates out of few metres.
Too many muggles around to look properly and the "no bushbashing required" information confused us. We wouldn't feel comfortable walking among the flowers with people around anyhow. But a lovely spot!
Thank you! I headed up to Cervantes for the weekend, for some sightseeing and a cache or two.
Today was for national parks and caches, and I was very much looking forward to visiting Lesueur National Park. My 2WD handled the unsealed Cockleshell Gully Rd okay, but I was happy to find a sealed road throughout the national park. The spring scenery was amazing, and I looked forward to finding the first cache here - which took longer than expected. My GPS was making me circle a particular area, before telling me to look elsewhere. Still no luck there until I turned around and spotted it.

Hi there mackerals.
We found your cache **"Mt Lesueur"** at 10:55:00 AM today, so this makes our find count 14534.
We are camping in Jurian Bay for a few days, on our way south from Geraldton to Perth.
Today the plan was to visit Lesueur National Park to photograph the huge variety of wildflowers, and of course to find the geocaches here.. - It was a very interesting day, the scenery was wonderful and our final tally was 3 finds and 0 DNF's.
We found this cache a little further away from the path than we expected.
###Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.###
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We could not find it either - looked under bushes but no sign of it. It was a lovely day for a walk though.
After me stroll to the top of Mt Lesueur,
I found this little lookout
I missed this spot on me stroll to the top, as I took the full scenic loop stroll
No wedge tailed eagles sighted today …
… except for the one flying straight at me here !! [:o]
I had different prey on my mind and hopped over the wall to get away from those sharp talons.
Where I found a cache
A very green cache

Found easily during late afternoon trip into Lesueur National Park to see the last of the wildflowers.

Came out to the National Park this morning. The whole clan made it to this cache before most headed back to car while two of us went up the mountain. tftc
Thanks for the hide. Didn't really know about this park so thanks for placing this cache and bringing us here. Beautiful spot with lots of wild flowers and views to the ocean.
Co-ords a bit out but found it among the prickly shrubs.
