Unfortunately I will be unable to replace the container for a while yet due to a couple torn muscles behind the knee and tendon damage. So until this is fixed if anybody is going there I would be very grateful if you could help.
Nice little hide . Unfortunately, the container is broken, and the log is wet, so we took a picture
About 600 m from car park good hide near four big rocks log wet but still sighnable do take own pen
Great spot with excellent views. A little tricky at first but easily found when looking up. A great walk to get here even in the cold of a Lithgow winter.
Another long walk down rough, rocky roads, that I'd have to walk back 'up' again after finding the cache. I seem to be a real sucker for punishment this weekend!
Found the cache nice and easy once I reached the area.
Thanks for the cache.

We are spending a week in the Lithgow area for the September School holidays, staying at the Lithgow Caravan Park. This was our 10th find of the day, 16th find of the holiday.
Doing an afternoon drive around the Hassan's Walls loop and picking up a few caches along the way. After finding "S-cache1" we moved the geomobile a short distance back up the hill and parked it at the concrete barriers at the start of the walking track. This is where we should have parked for doing "S-cache1", as both access tracks start at this spot.
Walked down the track all the way to GZ. The GPSr was jumping around a bit but as it settled down we finally found the hidey hole and had CIH. TNLNSL. TFTC.

It's a bit of a tough road for a 4wd so I parked at the concrete barrier and walked the 400m to the cache. The path is well formed and looks like a few mtb folk ride here.
Enjoyed the view of the valley and the intricately weathered rock while the gps settled, signed log and readied myself for the hot uphill walk back.
Spied a couple of black cockatoos calling each other and playing chasey among the trees but wasn't quick enough to get a good photo.

With thunder rolling in across the valley I found the cache. My phone had GZ around a large rock but had to widen the search to locate the cache. Quickly signed the log and hurried back along the trail. TFTF
TFTC arriving in the late afternoon deprived us of the views but they must be good. I don't think a 4x4 would get us 10m from the cache.
We decided to release our Defender90 TB here as it wants to explore Australia using 4WD tracks. Once we have returned to the UK we can track its progress and remember our travels here. TFTC.
'tis what is enjoyable about seeking a Cache alone. An off the beaten track that is not overly difficult or dangerous to an unusual location and a forage for the prize. TFTC

A nice walk to this one and a great spot for caching. Spent a lot of time up in these parts as a kid and it was nice to come back with my kids. TFTC
Agood day in the hills today with pills123 looked for five found three this being the first. Atrack we had not been on before thank you rogerw3
Another good walk behind Lithgow to find rogerw3's favourite spots! I loved the banksias which were all in flower along the way. They looked so yummy that I decided to taste one but it turned out to be a bit of a disapointment. Not all sweet and juicey, more like a bit spikey and prickly! Great views of the valley below along the way too, thanks to rogerw3 and the company.
A morning caching in the hills surrounding Lithgow with rogerw3, pjmpjm, blossom and strike-a-light.
Second cache for the morning, a much shorter walk this time with the most wonderful bottle brush flowers along the way. We zeroed right in on this one, no need for circling this time. Again, the cache was well protected and in good shape.
Tks ... rogerw3 ... GazMag

Found together with rogerw3, GazMag, blossom* and Strike-a-light on a trig hunting and caching expedition to Lithgow!
Another fun walk in a beautiful place above Lithgow.
Once again, I wasn't first to GZ. It might have been blossom* who actually found the cache.
We all had a great time inspecting the usual excellent rogerw3 cache presentation and teasing each other.
Cache and contents were in great shape. TNLNSL.
Thanks again to rogerw3 for another very good one!

Reperio at 0915. After managing to get the 2WD pretty close, I enjoyed the walk to GZ where the cache was found after checking out a couple of hidey holes.
Gratias.

What a wonderful location for a cache. Enjoyed the walk. Took: Four Spirit Geocoin - Yellow Quilin, Left: Orange Dinosaur. SL TFTC.
Found it ok. I actually rode this track on mt trusty pushbike. And love it there. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
The views here weren't quite as good but a nice spot nonetheless. A short walk in from the top to the cache.
Left a traveller. TFTC!

I think this was the furthest walk we had to do over our 2 days. Nice views as the sunset into our face.
Thanks
Thanks

Just a short walk and the cache was quickly in our hands. (Interesting diggings near GZ.)
The day was beginning to heat up on what was to become quite a hot day. Webguy discovered that his water bottle was at home, but we had plenty of cold water in the fridge in the car. I can't understand why he didn't want to carry the 4 litre bottle with him.
Thanks for showing us another lovely area.

Wingnut refused to carry me to this one, so we walked. An easy downwards track leads you to some pagoda formations and then on a tad further, now, I ask you, who the hell started a mine tunnel up here?
Easy find. it's starting to heat up and I left my water bottle in the fridge at home.
Cheers

Found in the company of the Views Tour team...picture perfect views...thanks rogerw3
The heat was buildng as we parked the cars short of GZ
The troop marched quickly down to the cache and completed the duties. It was obvious that these down hill caches with up hill returns would be slower... a lot slower as they day moved on. Now where is my water bottle???
I've never seen Lithgow from this side of the valley before. Thanks for bringing us here

Found 12noon as part of a Lithgow 4x4 weekend caching and camping adventure. The day was warming up however we had stunning views. TNLN thanks.
All the Geokiddies were kept in close eye contact whist this cache was carried out, The cache was quickly found and the log process began.......... Back in it's hidey hole and on to the next, top stuff Thanks for bringing us here
caching with the group was great but the increasing heat was getting a little too much for this little duck thanks for the views
Another one found while caching with the Views Attack team.
Again the views were fantastic, and the geowife just loves all the rock formations out here.

What a day full of magnificent views! Did "Tevo's Cache", "Just Another Rock in the Wall", "Bracey's Voyager", "VIEW3-1", "VIEW3-4" and "VIEW3-8".
The best thing about the day was that my eight and nine year old sons got to see their first wild echidna.
The funniest thing was watching my eight year old tell my nine year old where to look, while standing unknowingly on top of the cache.
T: Yin til Aarhus Geocoin
L: Mini Cooper S TB. Well I thought we did. But on arriving home and logging some caches I noticed that the kids have put both Trackables in the bag. Sorry!?! Will fix if advised to. If not will drop off elsewhere soon.

After a stop down the road for the geohounds to have a quick swim and walk, it was time for us to have a wander of our own. With one dog suffering a badly damaged leg we left the hounds in the geomobile for this one. After quite a nice short walk we were soon at GZ and took in the amazing views while making the find. No other walkers, mtber's or anyone for that matter about down here today.
A nice view and a wonderful spot to visit while caching - thanks rogerw3.

This was the larst cache for the day and what better way then for the whole family of both Code 1 and JABs to go for a stroll down to a scenic outlook. Kids enjoyed the chance for the extra distance after alot of 4wdriving.
Please bewere of muggles who will appear suddenly from the walking track. We always enjoy this area above Lithgow that can have you seeing things from a different angle.
JABs.

We were going to attempt a few of the VIEW3 caches on Saturday whilst we were in Lithgow, but seeing as there was lots of wind and rain and pretty much a crappy weather day, we gave it a miss.
I'm glad we did as the short walk in today was pleasent and the views from above GZ in poor weather wouldn't of done the location justice.
Much better being able to see it under clear skys and I must say this is a great spot for a cache.
Took coin.
Left coin.

We noticed another one in the View3-X series come up right near where we had been spending a bit of time today watching the Mountain Bike races so what must one do, hmmm… a quandary, oh well we cant let the chance of another FTF in the series pass us by so off we wander and a short time later we had our goal in hand and another FTF to boot.
We have really been enjoying this series of caches, so please keep them coming.
Took nothing left nothing.
Dropped geocoin into cache.
