The zoo may have been relocated ! Shame .....should have been an easy smiley ....
Couldn't find this cache, rummaged around where the hint indicated, but could not find the cache.

Rummaged all about the plants around the base of the tree, but some reason, this one eluded us today! Hopefully it's not missing?
Quick find, my deepest apologies to those who were waiting. You know who you are.
Last cache for the day before heading home.
Nice easy find and some appropriate memorabilia in the cache container.

Nice quick find today, cache was quite wet, tried to dry it out, but we were short of time. TFTC.
Easy find in the dark. Great cache - a little damp - maybe need a sunny day to dry the animals out! Loved the tiger - especially since we'd just seen 'Life of Pi'! 8/365. TFTC
I had to drop an item off to a friend in Takapuna so thought I'd take the opportunity to grab a few caches.
On reaching GZ, I noticed the cache lying on the group and was uncovered (although no visible from the road). The LB looks mouldy although the current sheet was clear so filled my details. There were no leaves to cover it, so had to place it back in the same location with some coverage from the live vegetation.

First cache of the day today, here with Miss Jess Andersen and SethRaven found it
Out and about with the the Future Finder for a spot of caching before the rain sets in. Super quick find just as the rain starts in earnest. Took cache back to car to sign log to keep it nice and dry. Cheers for the cache!
Zoo animals seem to have hibernated for winter. Hopefully when the weather is nicer they might come back. Sorry I didn't have one to add today. Quick find, to fill another day on the calendar. SL. TFTC.
Found cache without any problems, however the contents were scattered and container was open. Put all back together and back in place, left snappy croc TB, TFTC
Found this one among the leaves, didn't have any animals for the zoo. There was a cat wandering about but he was too big Ha Ha.
Took a while to find this as there were muggles around. So waited until they disappeared after which the find was easy.

What a menagerie. An easy find with a nice collection of animals. Really enjoyed this one. TFTC.
Came back so young grandson could find it. He took a green frog & we left a pink dinosaur
Wow! So exciting for us newbies venturing out at night. Our 2nd find. A great family adventure out with my teenagers! Will be bringing an animal to add tomorrow
Went looking in the wrong place to begin with and ended up down a bank of some sort... After sorting myself out and reading the clue again I got the hint... Wink wink.. Found the cache.. Great animal collection.. If only they had all of these in an actual Zoo in New Zealand. Great cache.. Can't help but wish someone from Australia should take the giant shark with them . Great Cache.. Interesting Street, never knew it even existed..

Was out on a bit of a midnight caching mission, and was actually planning on finding those caches that were a bit more north of the motorway exit I got off, not south, but kinda realised that I couldn't turn right where I wanted to, and so on... meh, no regrets, loved finding this cache! (But that was one of the good things when I only had my push - peddal bike to cache with, road rules don't really apply! As long as you don't get in a cars way, you're sweet!)
So, got here, but decided to walk throught the walkway, as I was on the other side. Good thing I keep a torch in my car, for caching!
Got to the GZ, and figured the approximate location of the cache. Took a bit of a peek, but soon a big black van pulled over, so I decided to wait till they got out. Two young fellas jumped out, the first walks away, with a box of beer bottles... yup, what you'd expect. Then a few seconds later, the next guy leaves, carrying... a SEWING machine??!!??
Ok... that was weird. Back to searching!
Looking in, and there was the cache! Yay!!
TFTC!!

Quick find with my sisters before their departure for Vietnam. We woke up at 6am in order to do some caching. Cache #600 for me!! TFTC
A quick find-never been down this way before-interesting area. Thanks nzdurden
Mr Tupperware seemed to have deserted his post. However Mr Sistema was on duty and the cache contents were soon revealed.
At last, a cache big enough for Dylan (a doggy trackable) to fit into. Lots of animals here to keep him company too.
Great discovery for our little cachers very excited at their find. Easy cache. Took Polar Bear but only left a sheet of animal stickers (still sticking to the theme though). TFTC.
TFTC. A neat hide right by the road. Some very enthusiastic youth were riding their skated boards down the steep road and around the corner - it seems that cachers are not the only crazy people out in the world. 900th find!!
Finally! Having come half way round the world I, tracked a cache down on my last day in Auckland. Not much of a zoo theme to the trackable dropped off I'm afraid (none in fact), but was running out of time. Took the Toy Story trackable. TFTC.
Out on a boys afternoons caching with Friwinz, Flipdags and sons. Our second attempt at this one as our first attempt, it was in the middle of the night and pitch black. Nice easy find this time Dropped travel bug. TFTC
Geomatt and I had a look at this one after a close by FTF a few months back and could not find it. I promised myself to come back eventually in day time and today was as good as any in company of Flipdags and Geomatt. Quickly located this time by Geomatt, TFTC
Great hide. Though I think the local muggles saw me and got interested as I was signing the log
Really cute. It was a battle to convince the kids that they couldn't take all the animals. The kids asked, "What is the point of a treasure hunt when you don't take the treasure?" and we had to patiently explain that it is not THAT kind of treasure hunt
Cute idea for a cache. Our only swap was a centipede and while technically an animal we were afraid he wouldn't fit in, in more ways than one. Instead we left a pathtag with a kiwi on it and traded geocoins; out butterfly, in Cache Mover. PGIGO TFTC
Found with Biggles while caching in the area. Great cache nicely themed and our last for the day (18 hours on the go takes it's toll). Time for some sleep. TFTC
Found on day 1 of a 3 day Auckland cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. The last cache for a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long day. We sure covered a lot of territory around Auckland north and west today. Thanks for putting your cache in a place that insanely tired cachers could find. TFTC, Biggles.
One of 262 finds with Team Y-Cacho's during our 24 hour Auckland cache raid epic.
OmaGosh, over and out...

#544: Found the mini-zoo, just needed to get out of view of a local K9 muggle who was adamant that we were in his 'territory'

Nice quick find by a Junior Pastamaker.
Lots of animals at the zoo and all getting along quite well despite living in such close proximity to each other.

A quick driveby and with all the information that you provided us with we could not help but find it which is exactly what we did.
Made no swaps today.

A nice driveby. We quickly signed the log in case any animals might escape!
Lucky too, as a dog walking muggle just rounded the corner as we were walking away.
Thanks, Robmc.

Quick find after waiting for a muggle to go past. Felt like lots of eyes from nearby houses were watching! TFTC.
A true drive by. The locals must all be aware of this one? TFTC, no trades, all my animals are too big to fit.
Very sorry for the late posting online. Found with Indiana Jill on a caching day adventure. TFTC!
Seattle's Best made grab as we left Writers Cramp enroute to Dport. Thnx for trip to the Zoo.
