No luck finding this today. Our GPS must have been a bit out as we mistook the entry point, and Pa monsta bushwacked his way in.

Haven't done any geo's in a while so thought go and nail some on a beautiful Southland day.
Log book was very wet and we couldn't write into it, so needs some serious maintenance.

TFTC had great fun negotiating muddy tracks in the pouring rain with bluebell23
Thanks for cache, nice wee walk after a swim in the river. white-rose

Bone dry today, could have worn your slippers, but I can imagine the mud in the wet.Found readily.Looks good fishing spots near here.TFTC
definitely my most memorable cache - took me a while to find it with the clue provided fitting the description of almost every fallen tree in the vicinity. Then on the way home from finding the cache ended up covered in a rash and hives as an allergic reaction to the pollen in the grass i was fossicking through LOL. TFTC
Was on our way South to Invercargill and thought that we would take a small detour to this spot, arrived near GZ and found that the barrier gate was open so thought that since we had our trusty 4X4 we would drive a bit closer to GZ. We managed to get within 140 metres of GZ and then rushed in and after a bit of a search we spotted the cache, opened the cache found it to be a bit damp, may need a visit, just to replace and dry out contents. very clever hide, then we were back to the car and off we went without any issues. Thanks for bringing us to this interesting spot, TFTC TNLNSL (2955)
Having done Mum's Ache this morning, seemed appropriate to do Dad's Ache this evening as we left Southland. Took a bit to find as it was very well hidden. Cheers Gav [7326]
A good find. Nice sunny afternoon for a stroll down by the riverside. Mike(nephew) as GPS Controller
Nice walk - haven't been here before. Container had water in it but book was ok.

Wazza and the Wenches have invaded NZ on a (caching) holiday. Surprisingly the Wench is happy for BBTD and Wazza to chase caches wherever we go...
Glad we didn't wear our best shoes. The track was a bit muddy and we had to skirt around a few large puddles.
Cache was located easy enough but the container was completely full of water. The log book was in a ziplock bag and, surprisingly, was totally dry.
Thanks again Gyargh and Dad.

Wasn't going to attempt this one then changed my mind. It was easier than Mum's Ache. TFTC
A pleasant stroll on a hot evening. Lots of people on both sides of, and in the river. Took a while to find the cache as the hint doesn't really fit exactly. farmer2some's comment about the chainsawed log provided a much better clue as to the location. TFTC
Too many places resembling the hint around now! But I still managed to find it! TFTC
This took me forever! I hadn't read the clue in a fortnight and had put the coordinates on my GPS for when a friend and I had gone geocaching all the way back then. I must have looked in every conceivable hiding place within a ten metre radius before I finally found it! There were races on too at the racetrack and the commentators voice travelled to the site, I thought people were sneaking up on me! Talk about paranoia!
Found it eventually and made a swap. TFTC!

Managed to get this one between rain showers. Was quite muddy but we didn't wear our best shoes.

Dad's day we decided to take a trip to Winton to find Dad's Ache.Have been here several times fishing so it's good to come here for a different reason. A bit wet under foot but an easy find.and nice to hear all the birds singing. TFTC
Traveling with Bitsprayer we had to make a wee detour on the way home to find this after hearing a wee whisper at the event.
Thanks for the fun

Not too sue if I can claim the FTF for this cache, i'll wait for confirmation on that one as there was already an entry from two cachers who got an advanced screening of the co-ord's. Anyway, another nice spot for a walk along the river here. Pretty muddy in places and we were glad we heeded the info regarding not wearing your sunday best shoes. Pretty easy find as the co-ord's were spot on for us. Once again, thanks for another cool cache Gyargh. TNLN, TFTC. [^]
Got the Heads up about this cache at the event so made a detour on the way home as you do, it looked like other people had been here, but the book was empty, took a few minutes to hunt down GPS had me some were else ErnieNZ turned up the Goods,
But FTF Honor's go to Sonya and Deane as they found it after it was listed on the site
Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
