Logs
In the McLaren Vale and Willunga areas caching today.Stopped by here for a quick find, stamp and returnThe tree has seen better days and so has the log, something has been chewing on it TFTC
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA. Staying in Aldinga a few days while ranging to the surrounds to grab some finds. Thank you for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We're staying in in the area for a few days, hunting down some nearby caches in this lovely part of SA. Thanks for the cache. LNCU
Today we are caching with our wonderful friends Muddtrax and Krossbo,we have headed to the McLaren Vale area to check out a few wineries, taste wine, eat food and find caches, what a great day we have had. It is getting dark and this is our last cache for the day, another fantastic cache. All is good at the cache. SL TFTC
Found pretty quickly. I had to remove a log guardian (snail) from within the cache before signing.
Last one before home for supper. Not only has the tree seen better days the logbook is in a similar condition. However we managed to find a spot to leave our mark. Tftc found it with cachehunter.
Found with NiciDanielle. Lights starting to dim, last one for the night and home time, also getting hungry. Nice easy find, the tree certainly has seen better days but looks like it might be starting to make a bit of a comeback. Go tree go! TFTC
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.

Scody was in Adelaide waiting for a flight home so we made use of the morning and went caching
He did his 1st adv lab[^] and had the fun of retrieving the bonus cache too[^]
We only had a few hours so were based around the airport in order to facilitate Scody's quick escape back to Vic
After losing Scody's company, Rex and I did a few caches and adv lab WPs and then a newly published cache led to us heading for McLaren Vale (as you do!) I rang JJ52 on my way past her house but since she was not home, she arranged to meet me at the new cache After the mini event there, we did a few caches together before I had to head for home[|)][^]
A great day with great company[:X] and I had 1 DNF and 10 cache finds plus a few adv lab WPs[^]
Quick find while passing through the area, enjoying the vineyard views[^]

In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few near McLaren Vale before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Just a quick stop after dropping off the kids at a friend's house for the weekend TFTC
Just the one cache today after an epic lunch at Mitolo wine we continued up the road for an nice quick find here. TFTC shame it wasn’t this caches birthday very close!
Found in a beautiful location on a cold and frosty morning. Unfortunately the log is wet but I could still write on it. Probably needs a bit of CO attention to make the container more waterproof. Grabbed TB. TFTC
Nice hiding spot. Good views and great weather. The log book and container are getting a bit mouldy though. Dropped off a trackable as well.
After an errand down south Owl collected Sushilord for a caching trip. After a pleasant walk to collect some OTD caches and a very nice lunch at the bakery, they decided to wander around McLaren Vale to collect some of the back roads caches. This was a quick find in a picturesque area.
We were pleased that accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find because it was blowing a gale and raining quite heavily when we arrived at this location. We returned to the car to sign the logbook. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks smithnlb for the cache.
Pretty walk up the gravel road with geodog, quick fun find. Log book dampness turning into mouldy log book...needs replacing. Thanks smithnlb
Left work while still daylight and went out in search of a quick drive by cache. I'd been saving this one for a while. I didn't have time to appreciate the view because after several warm days it was now bucketing! TFTC
Out for an afternoon down south with geoson Sebastbat.
Nice views all around. A bit damp, but drying out.
Thanks for bringing us here smithnlb , and thanks for the smiley

Found with vj187 on a chilly winter day. The log was too mouldy to sign. A lovely area. TFTC
There is a nasty black fungus inside this cache. I suggest not only a replacement logbook, but a replacement container, otherwise it will keep coming back.
Driving around Clarendon, McLaren Flat (for cache maintenance), McLaren Vale and Meadows today, stopping off to find the odd cache.
Found it... beautiful serene area, thank you for bringing me here I want to live in the area somewhere here, one day, especially for the scenery such as this. I have placed my own cache at the northern side of The Vale for this reason.
I wasn't going to touch the log, much less sign it, that's how gross it is. A replacement container will be the only way to get rid of that degree of mould. I have sent proof of the find to the CO.

Out & about with clare007 collecting some caches in the area on this warm evening...
The sun was setting over the vines...the sun rays looked beautiful coming through the trees...
The cache was quickly located but it has a very soggy logbook...

A nice, quiet road with some nice roadside vegetation.
The evening's sun-rays made a nice golden affect on the trees.
Thanks for the view smithnlb

A sunny friday afternoon with a day of ment that a day cachng was in order. I was hoping to finish of the cats and dogs series I started last weekend and, hopefully, puck up a few more caches around McLaren Vale. Unfortunetly a 4 O'CLock dentist appointment ment that I had to finish early than I would have liked. Despite this a good caching day was had.

Mr Tardis was out for a quick caching run around McLaren Vale today. I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens? There was a vineyard and there was a view. Everything I expected
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache smithnlb.

Nice vine yard views, great area to drive around in good weather. Thanks for the hide.
Day Mount Pleasant to McLaren Vale. Staying at the caravan Park
The weather once again turned rainy as we headed out into the forest to find January caches.
On the way we passed a few others so we just had to stop to find them.
Thanks for placing this cache smithnlb

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo, we have been weather watching all week. As we attended the dinner event in Adelaide last night it was a late night for us so a late start for today seemed in order After lunch a plan was hatched and a quick loop away from our camp was undertaken. Lovely area with some great vistas and of course so many wineries.
Of course no day can go by without getting a cache fix too.

Found with friends. Cache 4 of 4. Spent day exploring area on foot. Great views of rain clouds over nearby hills. Caches a little harder to find due to sour sobs but yellow flowers made the area look pretty
