Was out for the weekend grabbing a few caches along the way. This is day 2 I left Purnong where I stay for the night making my way to An event near Murray Bridge before heading home. This was cache 11 of 27 for the day.My last of the "Country Jewels Tour" series for the day.TFTC FLIPPER&CO
Found this with my muggle husband on our way home to the Adelaide Hills after spending a lovely 4 days in Berri. Glad he was with me because previous finder had screwed the container up so tight that muggle husband almost gave up. As I was about to send a message to the C.O. with a photo he used a rock (TOTT) and managed to get it unscrewed. Next finder please there is no need to do it up that tight. TFTC TNLNSL
Meandering up and down the Murray on a unforgettable houseboat we moored at bowhill, found CFS bowhill cache, and decided to continue finding a few more in the surrounding area, all by foot. I decided to trust my instinct and try to get to this cache along the roadside. Thankfully this aint the Hume hwy and soon got to cache. Close to a ruin it was a great history lesson. Tftc

TFTC FLIPPER&CO your cache Country Jewels Tour - Topaz that we found today. We have moved on from Adelaide and now camped at Bowhill with Wollaston and MeandDe. After lunch we went in search of somewhere to launch kayaks close to out major target of a high terrain Earthcache. We eventually found somewhere and launched late in the afternoon. A successful adventure on the water with 1 Earthcache and 7 caches on the water. We then started to head back to camp stopping to find another 4 caches.Find Count: 18648
We were heading back to camp after a pleasant kayak on the river picking up T5 geocaches with Wollaston and HansandLinda and decided to stop for this one on our way past. Surely no-one will complain if we stop for just one more?!Thanks for find #5515TNLN

Well there was an event I saw published in Bordertown hosted by Roaming Howie and since I was able to have 4 days off I decided to head over to attend the event and then to also do a few of the On Ya Bike series to finish off my D/T loop.
Throw a few oldies into the mix for my Ausmer grid and it was going to be a busy weekend with lots of Km’s.
After a good nights sleep and a walk around the park I made it to the event.
So after catching up with a couple of Vic’s and a couple of SA’s it was time to head North towards Loxton and to start chasing the caches that I’m after.
It is starting to warm up now and they did say it was going to reach 42 up around here.
A tad hot to be out caching but a find is a find.
So after finishing off the one’s that I was after on the OYB series it was time to head back South and work out where to stay for the night.
Checked out the ruins then looked for a cache.
Big things are continuing to happen! Are you joining the fun again in 2023?

A stop on way to Swan Reach. Visiting relatives resting peacefully . Quick find sign TFTC
All great adventures must come to an end! After five days of intense caching and socialising in the Murraylands, with geo-friends from Victoria, NSW and SA it is time to head back east, with the compulsory stops, to stretch and find a cache or two of course.
This cache was lying totally out in the open, after signing the log we tucked the cache in at the GZ
Thanks FLIPPER&CO for placing caches in such interesting locations.

Very enjoyable driving up the Murray. But, a warning - if you decide to approach this cache from the ruins and need to scale the fence don't rip your jeans on the barbed wire.
Today a big Jams day out was planned to collect the Around the World Series.
We were without JJ52 (rudely off on a 6 week interstate jaunt) and joined by CP Wanderer and Gizmos Gang, so we evolved into the Mystery Randoms.
Great day out collected 39 caches for the day, found lots of tricky multies, sis a fair bit of scribing and thoroughly enjoyed the company.
We had perfect Autumn caching weather. We found all caches we looked for which was even better .
Thanks to all the CO for their fun hides, next time back to finish off the pesky bike series.
Another jewel cache on the way home. TFTC

found with allister w, Mogni and Michells&hound and all logs stamped today as Mystery Randoms to save log space. Gizmos Gang, and CP Wanderer left us at Bakara Conservation Park since they had already found the caches we wanted to target on the way home. Found after completing the Around the World in 81 caches series ( all found ). quick find.
A great day caching with CPwanderer, Gizmos Gang, Michells & Hound, Sir Spectre and mogni. I enjoyed the drive around the area with some great sights and spots. I also got to climb the ladder a couple times throughout the day. A great team effort to get about 30 or so finds. TFTC
After a weekend on the river it was time to head home.
Enjoying some caching on the way.
Love all the ruins dotted about, always seems such a shame these buildings aren't still inhabited.
Thanks for the cache FLIPP&CO

Just on the way out of the claypans, when I asked my driver if we could grab this one too.
Not knowing I hadn't grabbed this one, we stopped so I could complete the cluster.

While camping on the Murray River we did a tour today with ilook4geo. What a wild day!! The winds were gale force and there was rain as well, so we only managed to find a few caches when conditions eased a little. We did the usual duties for each cache and then raced back to the shelter of the vehicle. Nice quick and easy find here thankfully. Many thanks go to FLIPPER&CO for placing this cache.
The very strong wind blew us along here today with goingplaces2. It as raining as well. Found some caches but not very many. It was the best possible in the conditions. Found this cache and signed the log. TFTC.
A plan was hatched for three geocachers to have a couple of hours kayaking on the Murray to grab a few caches. [^] So I loaded both kayaks onto the geomobile and I was joined by Anymules for a drive to Blanchetown to meet Mr. Tardis around noon for the paddle. Of course we couldn't just drive by a few unfound caches on the way there, - or back for that matter.
A very quick find and cache still in excellent condition.

A nice quick find on our way through the area today.
I think this is the third cache in this series that we've found, and as usual, forgot to note the clue under the lid. I think we currently have about four Flipper cache series that are a "work in progress". We might even finish a few one day.
Thanks FLIPPER&CO.
