Find # 10701Looking at my stats I have a personal goal to meet before year end and its not an altogether small one. BUT when Im on a mission anything could happen. So, on a brief work trip to NE VIC and I have a long list of caches to collect so no time for spinning the wheels Picked up the trusty SUV hire car and off I go. Making the most of the opportunity for a few hours of caching fun. Via Piccadilly Circus at long last, its been a long time since Ive been up here. Pre-C in fact. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases Thanks so much for the many caches The Emongs and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light
Loved the neighboring deer. Log book is so moldy and wet that it was impossible to sign. Container has a hole in it. Needs new log and container. TFTH
Found at 11.45am after a wander through the pine forest from Big Sandy.
A great spot for morning tea, in the sun, out of the wind. Temp was 9 degrees C.
A wet logbook.
Thanks

We decided to take the scenic route to Canberra and make a couple of stops on the way to find some caches. This was our first stop for the day and it was a quick and easy find. We will definitely be back for some more caching and adventure. TFTC!

Down this way from Canberra to attend last night's event and this morning's event at Oura. Cached my way home via Adelong (somewhere I hadn't been before), Tumut and Wee Jasper. Cache easily found. TFTC.

We found this one a week and a day ago- but my phone didn't log it - even thought it showed that it did, and I've only just realised now that it didn't, so I'm adding the log now...
We found this one on a rainy afternoon driving back from Canberra after a weekend at Tumbarumba. It was too wet and windy to get out and find caches - but we stopped for a short coffee break in a convienient spot, and guess what - there was a cache meters away.
We had to wait till a massive storm full of wind and sleet swept past before getting out and finding the cache and signing the log. It was 3 degrees - what happened to it being almost summer?
Anyhow, the cache is in good order, and staying dry even with all the rain we've had.
Thanks for the cache The Emongs - it's great to find caches as well aged as this one.

Geo-Hubby knew straight away where this 1 was, he had spent alot fo time up this area as a kid. Geo-kid grabbed it and decided to swap a compass badge (looks to have Russian writing on it?!) and left a plastic toy soldier.
Out and about for a few days in the Brindabella's. Collected this one on the way by. This is a nice quiet part of the country side to visit when you need some time out.
Another nice and easy find. once you thought about it, was very easy. All in good condition. I have found it, we signed it, we replaced it, and now we have logged it.
Thanks for the cache that we found here today The Emongs, Lil Donna

Out with Black Bunny and three - count them, THREE - caching doggies. Two big Briards, and a Corgi who thinks he's bigger than both!
Quick find here, GPS co-ords fine, container dry.
It did take a few moments to spot the 'road' in. There was no TB in the cache.
Thanks for placing and maintaining caches for us to find, The Emongs!

Last day in and around Tumut picking up a few left over random caches and what ever we find along the way back towards home.
Time to head home, so we went some back roads rather than the highway. Picked up a number of caches along the way. Big weekend of caching coming to an end.
Thanks The Emongs for the placement of this cache[^]

An interesting place for a cache, I suspect that discovering on the cache on the way up to the mountains would be more exciting as the promise of adventure would add spice to the find. We found the cache and were surprised by all of the nearby tires, apparently not a dump but maybe as ballasts for tarps nearby. Thanks Emongs for yet another interesting bush cache.
3143. A quick stop over on my 10.5 hour journey west. A nice little spot with the flora.

I will have to take your word for it that there were 7 trees.
I stopped counting at 11
On a wander around the area though, I did notice one fallen by the wayside not too far from where I found the cache
TFTC alongside the log truck super-highway

Mr_roo and I arrived early for our meet point for the Rally so grabbed a few more caches. After missing the turn we had to chuck a Uie and come back to make an easy find. T GC - TFTC
5625. [green]Reminds me of country directions - Head down the road aways and when you come to the spot that used to have seven trees turn left. And then you'll find a cache. And so it was.[/green]

The first of many caches we found today by The Emongs, and we almost made it a full on drive by. However we had to walk the last 30 metres or so. A neat area on a quiet and somewhat rainy day.
Thanks for fun guys.......
