Looked for ages. I think I found the spot where it used to be but no sign of cache
Nice little find today after I had an accident and had 5 days off work so went for a look and found it.
Although I think it got water logged from last lot of rain as it was wet inside the cache.

Nice easy find, but alas it is hidden in a hollow so was wet and manky
Taybeedragon and are in Nelson yet again - three objectives this time. Some lab caches, a challenge cache, and hunting down the wonders of the world. With the geocaching app, the wonders are easy - each time we find a cache we removed its wonder from the filter, leaving only wonders we hadn't found yet - made for a nice fast solution.
Oh - and to find a rare cache type. So rare, that in all my 14,000 finds, I had only ever found one other. All the Wonders and the challenge found, one more adventure lab to get...

Enjoying exploring along this back road on our way to Motueka today. No rolling or bowling at Ngatimoti today. Quick snag and tag here. Cheers
Another weekend exploring Nelson with The Seagnoid, Zara and Toby. Early start from Blenheim on Saturday. We are after The Wonders of the World, some LAB caches, also Nanzies Event to visit our caching family and visiting family in Motueka. Cold morning and beautiful days made for an awesome weekend.

A little behind in some cache logging took a rekkie around the Ngatimoti loop with SJT_NZ after we'd got through chores early, a quick find and needed a little drying out. Thanks Magpiy for the cache.
An interesting bridge Tregearp and I hadn't been across before. The cache was a quick find, and although dry inside, the logbook is still quite wet. We did sign it, but the paper is fragile and the ink ran on the page. The plastic bag is split but we didn't have any replacements big enough to cater for a log book of this size. In the end we added a supplementary log in a new plastic bag alongside the existing one.
Thanks Magpiy for the cache.
Thanks Magpiy for the cache.
Parked on the road side and enjoyed the walk across and back the road bridge. As the grass was wet I warily approached the cache but soon had in hand. Logbook was too wet to sign clearly, and rescued the resident T B to continue her journey. T F T C Magpiy.
Have been perusing my 'local' map and looking for clusters of caches for me to drive out to and making a day trip of (without the dangers of big drops/mountainous terrain/weather-vulnerable) and the area either side of the Motueka river looked a likely target area. I've not been any further than Tapawera on this side road and also not fully explored the back road of Motueka. So I sat right down and wrote myself a . . . . cache list. Target caches totalled over 40 and I was keen to get as many of those as I could. The final total was 37 finds, 3 DNFs and one tree climbing not attempted, or stopped for. My cache find total bumandworker went up again, and my Sidewaze totals are pushing towards third place in my all-time list of COs. A great day out and such beautiful Autumn scenery that the camera cannot truly convey. Scouted out some decent looking trout fishing spots too. Thanks to all COs for their placements. Individual logs at the start of the listing.

Great to find a container big enough to drop off a TB. Dropped one here today. TFTC.
Can't log and don't have spare bag, dripping in water. Beautiful swimming hole TFTC
Found this one at the start of our river kayaking trip. Nice way for the extended family to start the new year. This was a fun find & only 5m from where we parked the car. Find #389
Unable to do this one because of the nearby abseillers on the bridge. Very interesting to watch.
Wasn't game to take the Ranger across the bridge. Pleased I didn't as spotted a few trout. Great spot, thanks
Today I started from 1957 finds and chasing down 2000. This cache was find 1983. Thanks to Magpiy for the cache.
Off on a days caching with MuzzaL53 helping him get to 2000 - well someone had to help him!! Awesome old bridge. TFTC
wandered around with the GPS saying here, no here, no over there, so read the logs and got a clue as to where to find the cache and there it was.
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who was staying for nearly six months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we followed the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Being in the South, the way now went up on the west coast back to the north. Crossing the Fjordland with its famous landscapes we've reached Te Anau to do a private flight over Milford Sound, then spend in Queenstown some time with the most spectacular activities ever done (Canyon jumping and Shotover canyon jetriding were some unforgetable experiences!) the way led us to the glaciers, up to the nice town of Westport and further to Abel Tasman Park to doing an unbelievable hike trough the park and an outstanding kayak tour with seal and bird watching.
Nelson, Picton; Cook Strait is waiting again for us.
Of course, even if was is not our main activity during this holidays, we were looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to magpiy for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

a few people around today - but nobody was worried about us as we made a quick find tftc
Found after a great swim with the wee-wiggles nearby. Signed with Scrabbly and Bonnster, visited with Magpiy. TFTC Cheers!
This one is around 8m off.. when standing right over the cache, the GPS says 3-4 m, which is ok, but as soon as one moves a little away from the building, the GPS wants you to go over the road.. but apart from that, the hint is ok... nice and big cache too

Today we did the big loop through Tapawera up to Motueka and then back to Nelson. A quick find here before crossing the river again. Make sure to watch for the hole in the grass just in front of the cache. Thanks for the cache
Thank you for this wonderful cache. It was a beautiful place in an incredible country.
We got a few odd looks from the "sports" muggles but managed to find the cache easily. TFTC.
Found this one by the river that I always swim at so that was cool nice easy find
Surprised to find a bowling green out here in the middle of nowhere.
StreetWalker had already found the cache by the time I got to GZ, so a nice quick find. This was the only cache we looked for on this side of the river, we will be back to explore this side some time in the future. TFTC.

Easy find, although we started looking around the wrong building to start with!
I think I would like to learn to fish. These river stops are beautiful and I would love to while away a few hours with a beer here. Oh and thanks for the cache - for info it is four size4s away ! TFTC.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
After staying the night in Westport we headed up to Nelson today, via Motueka, picking up a few caches along the way. A quick find on the way past, TFTC

Mr j is a fisherman and doesn't need an excuse to stop and stare from bridges. This one is celebrating 100 years. Could see a couple nice trout and no swimmers even though a perfect day. NINO TFTC
Day 1, Find no.6 . Family Holiday time!
Mum found this.
Two teenagers were trying to convince themselves to a mid-winter jump off the bridge - 'Loonies' we thought! - until we jokingly questioned them, and discovered the young lady was heading home to Germany in 10hours. Thought we'd best leave them to their crazy romantic last moments together. Very cute.

Found it together with Team Autoværn on our New Zealand tour back in 2013.

We went for a daredevil swim (jumping of the bridge), and as a bonus we got the cach! TFTC
This was a high muggle area today and the first time we stopped we realised the impossibility of finding the cache with so many about. We came back a short time later and managed the find without anyone being the wiser. We had just replaced the cache when the exodus from the river started. TFTC.
Today it was as busy as SH. Cars parked everywhere and people in swim gear trotting up and down the bridge. It was decided to act as we belonged and while Holymu opened a gate for somebody the log was retrieved TFTC
What a brilliant little green! So much character! I didn't realise this little reserve existed, I've seen people swimming here many times. Will have to pop by over the summer.
found it on a roadtrip around the south Island. it was great fun to discover this one. TFTC!! happy hunting and greetings from GERmany
