I came here with mumandme on our way south but we didn't find it. After reading the logs I decided to have another go on my way north. This time it was an easy find, but I can see why we missed it last time if it was in the same place but buried! Thanks to Jude_E for digging it up! That's now another minute I can tick off for the latitude minutes challenges I'm working on. Thanks for the cache!
15:05FITW ObnoxiousSpaceCat A quick roadside stop on the way to Dunedin. Perfect parking right next to GZ.The bridge does look impressive from the side, thanks for showing.Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, drawp!#11429
Found with ivss_xx on our way to the mega. Nicely placed and secured container.
We arrived here and headed to look at the bridge, then without looking at the phone started searching for the cache. Oh dear what a dumb move that was. After a bit of fruitless searching I looked at the phone. LOL oh is that where it is. Once we looked at the phone it was an instant find. Thanks for showing us these bridges and thank you for the cache and the smiley.
Buried today but managed to dig it up fortunately, so it will be easier for the next people to come along. Back in the 60s the guys who owned The Mill House were friends of my grandparents. Tftc.#10651
Trouve ! / Found it ! J'ai failli la louper et pourtant 5110me cache trouve.Merci drawp pour la cache I almost missed it and yet 5110th cache found.Thank you drawp for the cache
Was unable to find this one thought it may have been under the rail bridge in the metal work as it mentions walk under rail bridge to look at bridge. We searched both bridge's and still had no luck.
What a lovely bridge (or two bridges) with lovely carving and opposite the Mill House. The geocache was found more easily than we expected. I wonder why we didn't find it on 30/7/2012. I am sure we were not looking there then.
Yay! TFTC! I came all the way from Vancouver BC Canada to find this cache! Lol. Thanks for being part of the adventure!

We are from Abilene, Texas, USA and have come to New Zealand to visit with a friend. We have gotten ten different Cache Types and will get the 11th Type (Webcam) when we go to Christchurch on Monday. Today Bitsprayer is taking us out to find more caches around Oamaru.
Thank you, drawp for placing this cache for all to find. We sign log sheets either as Love Cachers or LCers.
Driving over 50 miles to have...
Rusty barbed wire ripping through your clothes...
Curious rattlesnakes that come out of nowhere...
Itchy mosquito bites on every inch of your body...
A 40 mph wind gust blowing sand into your ears, nose and mouth...
Cactus needles getting stuck deep in your hands, arms and legs...
Thorny Mesquite trees scratching you up from head to toe...
Some or all of these things on a hike through 101° heat...
To sign your name or trade a toy...
SOUND LIKE FUN TO YOU?

Found on our way from Moeraki to Christchurch, our last week of month holidays in NZ. TFTC
On our way back to base after a big day. The bridge here is beautiful and a very interesting notice board. Thanks for this cache drawp.
Quick find while muggle had his back to me. He was waiting on the train to arrive so he could take pics of the river with water in.
The last real day of caching on my 25 day road trip with the target of 50 caches spaced at least 1 km apart for a challenge, another quick park and grab here. Thanks drawp

We looked for this ages ago in the original space but it wasn’t there. Kiscardi had posted a DNF so we needed to stop. Finally found thanks.

Disappointed not to have located this one but amazing to see the structure and efforts to restore.

On a quest to complete the Hidden Creatures challenge so again off to Oamaru to find about 80 caches and this was one of them. I have driven past here a million times and today was the day to stop..TFTC
Today we moved from O. to D., had many interesting experiences and found some caches. The problem here was to find the way to the cache!
Found with VikingNav today while staying at The Hill House for a couple of days. Thanks for the fun cache! >^..^
Found this cache while staying at the nearby hotel. Took a stroll through their garden and ended up at the bridge, and the cache. TFTC
Today, we planned to cross Dunedin to Oamaru and visit interesting places to catch some caches. Eventually it was the most successful day in terms of the number of caught caches from the entire trip to the NZ. Thanks for the cache.
Heading to Geraldine for the weekend so a quick stop here on the way. Think I approached the hard way as it was much easier getting back to the road after I had found the cache! TFTC
Finally on our way back down to Dunedin after the Geo Fest Omaru 2017, and stopping in on some high favorite caches along the way with NZTravellers, KeyLev, and UncleSamNZ.

The (major road trip was about to begin) that was for the Oamaru Geofest trip in the company of HKCB and iammrwalker for a bit of a road trip across to the west coast, through Haast and in a roundabout way to Oamaru.
My trip stats were as follows: 617 caches (214 Puzzles), 3300kms, 500 litres of Petrol, 21 hours sleep, 100+hours caching time. THe weather was wonderful and apart from about a 6hour period on the sunday we had fine weather all the way and feel that we made a bit of a hole in the region.
Firstly thanks to all the CO's that put in the effort to to set up these caches and to all the CO's whose caches we did not find this trip, well we are already planning our next trip.
We worked hard at getting specific caches (especially the Geo Art around christchurch and hence our concentration on this area for the preliminary 24 hours. So after a couple of running repairs to the rental vehicle (fuses not working) we were off knowing that all ports could be charged and that sleep was for the weak.
Sorry about the copy and paste logs but that is what tends to happen with a number run of this size. What a day this was going to be and a chance to have a good look around the area. It was amazing to wake up after having afull nights sleep and not have that sand in the eyes feeling and sore back from sleeping in the back of a car. Starting the day off working our way along the coast, followed by a spot of inland caching before making it back to Oamaru for a bite to eat followed by a bit more caching.

In the area for the geofest...after some FTF fun we decided to return to the original plan which was to head to Dunedin whilst stopping for some high favourited caches along the way...we were not disappointed!!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
The last day of our geocaching adventure with team SEAC 17 in Oamaru for the Geofest. had a great time during the weekend and saw some great sights around Danseys Pass, through the lakes and the clay cliffs of Omarama and of course the funky Steam punk and historic buildings around Oamaru. Who knew this gem of an area was tucked away in the South Island!
On our way back to Dunedin Team SEAC decided to focus on caches with high fav points and although we overshot this one initially, the boys went back and grabbed it, sure is a busy road! TFTC!

Came down this way from the North for the Oamaru Geofest, and decided to add a few more days to the weekend trip and turn it into a bit of a Mega mission, starting 5pm on Wednesday 18th and finishing 3pm Monday 23rd! Teaming up with Cats&Dragons for the first 24 hours then with Iammrwalker joining the team for the remainder.
Just a few of the stats for the trip were:
- 700 caches found, including 270+ puzzles (thanks to the Christchurch Geoart)
- 3300 km's driven, using over 500L of fuel $$$
- Just over 20 hours of sleep (about 4 per day on average), and about 100 hours of caching time.
Certainly a Mega Trip!
Day 5: With a good nights sleep for the first time this trip, we were up early and out the door for another full days caching. The goal for today was to cache our way down to the Moeraki Boulders and then see where the next cache lead us. One thing we were looking out for today was caches which hadn't been found in a long time.
Cool bridge, thanks for showing us this side of it.
Sorry about the cut and past logs, but that seems to happen with cache runs of this size!

I found this Geocache on a Geocaching mega mission along with Cats&Dragons and HKCB. With only just over three and half thousand Geocache finds I was very much the over achiever in training. We were in the South Island to support the Oamaru Geofest event, hunt down some Jasmar and D/T harder to find Geocaches, lonely caches (those not found in more than 6 months), virtuals and try and meet some milestone numbers. We signed the logs HIC, an abbreviation of our respective Geocaching names, (H)KCB, (I)ammrwalker and (C)ats&dragons. A huge thanks to all the CO’s who placed and maintain the Geocaches we found.
I arrived in Christchurch late Thursday evening having left straight from work and was picked up by my intrepid companions in our four wheel drive rental to find they had already grabbed about 270 finds in the previous twenty four hours. I wonder if the rental company would have still let us have it had they known we would travel 3300km in it before returning it four days later? Our trip took us to Greymouth via Arthurs pass, Ngahere, down the west coast to Haast across to Hawea, Cromwell, Twizel, Aoraki Mt Cook, Tekapo, onto the east coast up to Oamaru and back up to Christchurch via Akaroa and countless diversions and small towns along the way. We slept in the car for the first two nights, grabbing some shut eye between cache finds, taking turns to drive. We rented a small place in Oamaru for the other two nights and appreciated a bed to sleep in and a hot shower. It was an amazing trip, in which I discovered the South Island has some of the most incredible scenery in the world.

Visiting from Brisbane to attend the Oamaru Geofest 2017.
Teamed up with IolantheK and T-Tech to find some Challenges/Puzzles caches and a few traditionals along the way.
I had attempted this cache on my way from Dunedin but couldn't find it. As we were on our drive, I commented about not being able to find this cache and when we arrived here via Waianakarua Road, we just had to give it another try.
IolantheK was on the job and found the cache in no time. (how did I miss that!).
Logbook signed and cache returned to its hide.
What a beautiful bridge and river.

Over from Brisbane for a number of weeks "motorhoming" around the South Island with IolantheK [^]
Today we joined up with patrol14 to spend the day grabbing as many Puzzle/Challenge caches as we could
patrol14 had spent some time here looking a couple of days earlier with do luck But IolantheK seemed to know where to look and found in no time [^]

We are in Oamaru for the Geofest, and today we have teamed up with patrol14 to go puzzle collecting! I have rather a lot of them solved around here.
Time for a big drive southwards through Kakanui, Herbert and Maheno. patrol14 had attempted this one before but asked us to call by with her today. I just happened to look in the right way and made the find TFTC, drawp.

21 October 2017 08:55. Stayed in the Mill House overnight so had to find the cache 88m away. Beautiful bridge.
Was really over grown and many areas have been washed away so cache may be there, but ran out of time.
We didn't find the way to the bottom so we couldn't find the cache, oh well !
Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
Today we decided on a multi-day tour, after stopping at Omarama today continues to Dunedin, scenic road we will stop on the lakes that meet
Dunedin is back in Chch, stopping to pick up some cache
Greetings from Italy

This morning started out with CITO in Dunedin and then headed up to the Oamaru CITO with Eve07. Great fun day out with good haul of caches and rubbish
On the way back to Dunedin and went under the bridge to get to this one. Couple of options but soon picked the right one.

We enjoyed fossicking around under these bridges. Didn't take too long to find. Interesting that this magnificent old road bridge has skewed arches. Thanks for bringing us here drawp.
