A fun loop around the area with deanside. Good to meet a couple of other geocachers over the last few days. A very enjoyable journey and there was this cache! Took some finding but it definitely paid off as I got a pathtag as my reward Thanks Hanseeka for showcasing this lovelyarea and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!

Bit tricky

25-Sep-21
Lovely quick after lunch walk.
Quickest multi we have completed.
With no instruction we started at the posted co ordinate. Found no seat then crossed over to the main trail, which unfortunately took us to GZ.
TFTC.

25-Sep-21
Having just signed the log, shortly after starting this walk up and down the creek, only having seen 2 seats… one only with co ordinates, we decided to continue on the walk and work out the mistake.
Well, we walked all the way into Spring Gully and back, we only past 2 other seats, none with any information on them. Also none at the given co ordinates to give us any instruction or direction with multiple intersecting tracks.
We are totally bamboozelled.

27-Aug-21
Cool

24-Aug-21
What a difference 1 digit makes! Last time i went to the wrong coords from the first location then in desperation started inventing my own waypoints , all absolutely wrong. This time i fixed my mistake and enjoyed a rewarding wander with the geopooch finding each waypoint without much trouble. Thanks for the enjoyable multi.

Think i have gone the wrong way on this one, ill think about it and have another go

08-Aug-21
Yay. Solved last night but was too dark to find so had to come back today.

20-Jun-21
Out for an afternoon's caching with LittleBoss2, and our walks included this cache.
Our thanks to Hanseeka, an easy multi with a difficult hide in the long grass at the moment

19-Dec-20
After attending the Geocaching Victoria event at the No 7 Park Big Hill I teamed up with the event organiser GemmaSistema for a few hours of caching fun around Bendigo.
I have not done a lot of caching up this way so it was good to be out and about up here today.
We were targeting a few oldies and some others that we came upon.
So we jumped into the Geocruiser and I was the driver and Gemma the navigator and off we went in search of some caches.
After the usual turn here turn there stop and park here.
After a walk, hike, marathon we eventually had what was required and head3d off to GZ.
After a searching quiet a few spots we came up with nothing then I looked around and ther3 was the container lying out in the open about 5m from our GZ.
So we located the cache, added our names to the log then placed it back to where we thought it belonged and this was the last one with my co pilot as I dropped her back at her car so I started to head home but as they say there is always time for one more.
Thanks Hanseeka TFTC.

19-Dec-20
After the event at Crusoe Res I teamed up Posums to hunt out some old school caches, multis and mysteries. My last for the day. A nice walk here. Cache was found out in the open so we tucked it back where we think it belongs. Many thanks.

Good find.

Second time searching for this one - found this time

08-Jul-19
Suscoe continued our adventures around Bendigo finding a few caches and enjoying the good weather.
It was a good Winter's day, not cold, a little bit of sun and some good caches to find.

Thanks to Hanseeka for this multi, GZ was found right where the GPS said to look.

31-Mar-19
It has taken about 2 years to complete this multi cache. We have been feeding the chickens at Geodaughters Kindergarten in Spring Gully. I Was excited to have found the final 5th coordinates and then after feeding the chickens the geolkids and geohusband and I walked to the GZ where I quickly found the cache. TFTC and all the exercise we had walking to all the coordinates.

We had done much of the legwork for this one previously and after obtaining the final co-ords last weekend on the horrible cold, rainy day we had aborted the mission as it was getting dark and we could no longer feel our toes. (It helped knowing I'd be back over this weekend!)
Today after attending my god-daughters birthday party, neisha07 and I headed out. Again, we had limited time but managed to nab this one and an EC before being summoned to head back to the rest of the family.
As I was searching on the wrong side of the path, I had sent neisha07 (8yr old daughter) to the opposite side and she soon called out that she had it, much to my relief as we were not in normal Geo-attire and our feet quite wet by this stage.

We very much enjoyed our walks through the area. Cache is in good condition. TFTC!

A great little tour around our own area.

11-Nov-15
I had a bit of time before picking up geoson from school so I thought I'd look for this multi. Loved the area as it is close to where I grew up and it's a beautiful track to walk on. Thank you for the cache and for bringing me back here Smile

What a wonderful way to spend my time after work - a most enjoyable walk in perfect weather along this wondeful bike path in one of my favourite parts of Bendigo. In fact I used to live quite close to the 3rd waypoint. I had no trouble find each of the waypoints and made a quick final find at GZ. The zip-lock bag was completely torn across the bottom so I replaced it with a new one. Hope that's OK. Thanks so much Hanseeka for giving me some much-needed exercise in the best way possible and thanks for the cache!

26-Oct-15
Catching up with some very late logs.
Being stuck in Bendigo for a couple of days with a broken down car the only thing to do was grab some local caches.
We had started this one some time back but ran out of time to finish it so it was a must do today.
We were quite happy it was an overcast day as this made for a very pleasant walk after which we were rewarded with a nice easy find at GZ and our name is now in the log.
Many thanks hanseeka for a well done multi that lived up to its name.

Out and about in Bendigo today with McLookers, ST37E, The Tritonz, Wozzle68, DAB and Na'wal. It was a fun day and the weather played nice which is always a bonus.
Well this was a challenging multi. We found the first waypoint easily enough but could not find the second. Acting on a hunch we move on and found the next two quite easily. In the end it was a quick find at GZ. Thanks for the hide Hanseeka.

28-Aug-15
What a fantastic day of geocaching we had in Bendigo today. With an ensemble consisting of McLookers, Glanville Girls, Wozzle68, The_Tritonz, ST37E. Na'wal and yours truly, we had an absolute blast. With a heap of solved puzzles, it was time to do some collecting. It was a mixed bag of caches today. There were tree climbs, bridge climbs, hill climbs, traditionals, multis, a letterbox and even a few night caches to end the day !! The standard of the hides was excellent and the scenery and architecture was fantastic. All of the CO's should be proud of their hides. I can't wait to return for some more caching !! Found today in the company of DAB, Wozzle68, McLookers, Glanville Girls, ST37E and Nawal on a caching trip up in BENDIGO. We struggled with a few waypoints but just used our caching instinct which finally led us to GZ.
Thanks Hanseeka for the multi.

[red]Find #2788 Multi #144 [/red] Big Grin

I think everyone involved was hanging out for today. This had been planned for weeks. Lets make a day of it in Bendigo was the suggestion [^] Puzzles were solved, coordinates put into GPSr's maps were printed, accommodation was booked. Finally it was here. theTritonz, DAB, wozzle68, ST37E, Mclookers, Glanville Girls and myself were off. We met in Creswick after breakfast was purchased on the road. What a brilliant day out it was. Lots of laughs.

After being in town for a few smiles, we moved out here to collect this one. This one was a hard multi. We spotted the first way point then struggled. The second and third could not be found. We went on pure luck and some forcing, I really wanted the unloved days, that we stumbled across way point four. Five was easy and then the final was a quick find. I was glad to be able to pick up some much needed unloved days on this cache.Signed and replaced as found.

[blue]Thanks for this multi cache hide, Hanseeka [^]
Log and container in good condition. Smile

28-Aug-15
Spending a huge day in Bendigo with Glanville Girls, McLookers, Nawal, DAB, Wozzle68 and The Tritonz we travelled all over town and visited many caches, we struggled to get past WP2 for a while until we had a conversation and went out separate ways, a hunch played out very well and we managed to get ourselves on track and make a quick find on the container once at GZ

TFTC

28-Aug-15
This one was a challenge. We found WP1 OK but really struggled from then on until we used come caching sense, the cache name and read some earlier logs and eventually found another WP. This took us to another WP which then led us to GZ where the cache was found in a very logical place. This is a nice area, thanks Hanseeka.

Caching in Bendigo today with Glanville Girls, ST37E, The Tritonz, wozzle68, DAB and Na'wal, we were so lucky with the weather. Blue skies all day - perfect!

Replaced WPT #3 as it had been removed with infrastructure update,
Checked on WPT#2 and WPT@GZ. - Both okay.

Camped in Bendigo for a week, to pick up a few caches in the area.
Headed out on the geo-bikes, to check out this multi.
Got stuck on a coupe of waypoints, and had to PAF to get us out of trouble.
Very happy to find a cache at GZ.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Hanseeka, for us and others to find.

13-Feb-15
Couldn't find WP 2 or 3, but got there in the end!

13-Sep-14
All was going great until we got to the 2nd seat... We had a good look but found nothing. Hmm.. i think it might be a new seat?? We were on our bikes and the sun was setting so we headed back down the path towards Bendigo. Whizzing along the path my geo-instinct kicked in and after passing a few familiar landmarks waypoint4 soon appeared YAY! It was slightly tarnished but clearly pointed to GZ. Thanks for the adventure Hanseeka.

Back for another poke around the sportsgrounds Big Grin
I needed a nice gentle stroll after spending the morning in the geomobile doing silly things Razz
So here I was, on foot, in the midday sun strolling the paths.
I had failed to find waypoint two on my last stroll, so I was just poking around in the hope of finding one of the other waypoints Smile
And .... TADA!!.... I found waypoint four Big Grin
That led me to GZ a short stroll later Razz
The cache is very neatly hidden and I wonder how any muggle could have found it !!

I gave this my best shot this morning Smile
Waypoint 1 was a nice easy find, but waypoint 2 eluded me [:o]
I did try to find one of the waypoints as per the clues, but muggles prevented me searching properly Sad
So this will have to remain on my DNF list for now Razz

I had looked for this before when it was obviously not in position. Glad it has been reinstated.

With the help of a fellow logger Tamzy and I decided we could figure out the WP a few ahead and as we couldnt find wp2 we went ahead with our devious plan...and got it! Good spot although felt a bit sneaky and out in the open with kids running cross country around us...oh well, they had no idea!

One of 8 caches found on this lovely winter day with Nadsalator, did skip a couple of steps but came up with the goods in the end! Very popular area with school kids running a cross country and many happy walkers! TFTC

A big weekend away up north west was had which took in just over 100 caches, including 4 First to Finds, about 1000 days towards the Unloved Cache Challenge (GC3KWWQ) and some really fun adventures both solo and with new and old friends. Topped off with a great well attended event cache at Wedderburn.. (with yummy food too) Thanks to all the various cache owners along the way and my apologies upfront for the copy / paste style logging of those 100 odd caches.. Some of the Caches hadn't been found for between 6months and 18months which added greatly to my 15 years required for GC3KWWQ.. Thanks..

Many of the caches were a blur and thus there isn't too much I can add from an individual cache log point of view, my apologies to the cache owners who each have put a lot of effort into their respective hides..

I'd singled this one out as an prime unloved cache, reading the logs I wasn't expecting to find too much at each wp, by WP2 I was stuck.. so instead took advise of the logs and headed down the trail following little more than my torch.. the loan BMX came in handy and I made good time of it.. arriving at a likely spot I soon discovered my second set of coords and so punched them into my GPS.. the next set was easily found as was the somewhat uncovered cache at GZ.. Thanks Hanseeka for more of a puzzle cache than a Multi.. Duly signed and retrurned with slightly more cover.. Thanks for the cache and 469 days towards GC3KWWQ..

Found while out walking in the area, had been meaning to do this for some time but today located the info for the final waypoint before any others. So managed to circumvent a number of waypoints. TFTC. Despite a lot of damage to the area due to floods and wind, the cache is still accessible.

What a great multi to be crossed off our list! We commenced this one last time we were in Bendigo and really struggled with two of the WPT"s. We decided to abort mission as the multi isn't a quick fly through like others. We were able to complete the cache on this trip and we are quite pleased Big Grin. We went the wrong and difficult way to the GZ and the cache was located much quicker than the WPT's. SL TNLN TFTC

26-Apr-10
Have been in this area a few times for caching and other things. I didn't think we were actually going to be able to finish this because we couldn't find the first waypoints but noone wanted to be the first to quit. Eventually we found one and were able to complete the task. Lots of muggles about walking and using the sports grounds. TFTC

26-Apr-10
We couldn't find the first waypoint, then a electric chair mounted muggle stopped for a chat. He was well provisioned - a stubbie in hand, and the other half dozen in the basket. Headphones to his radio provided a footy score, although I suspect that he had a few at the pub, as he knew that Carlton had kicked the last few, but not who they were playing.... Needless to say, this took a while Smile
We continued on the walk (It was a really nice place, and a gorgeous day), hoping to find another waypoint.
After we had gone 900 meters, things were looking grim, when we found our first waypoint. This would be the turnaround point!
The next and final were easy and completed a very nice stroll.
We are going to have to start looking for waypoint in future! Smile
Thanks, Robmc.

7s and 1s, 7s and 1s................ Your too modest Silly Bill. Bluey and Squid rode while Bill and I ran the supposed 2km. Make that about 4ms after we ran up a hill chasing 7s..... or was that 1s. As Silly Bill said, we walked past the cache because Bluey was yabbering away and not watching the GPS. Squid came up with it while we were on our way back. Highlight was the Lacrosse game. Those blokes are mad. TFTC even if we can't read numbers.

I haven't attempted too many multi caches...but the hobboboys rang me and asked me to join them on this cache hunt....the boys did well...the co-ords at one of the waypoints looked like either 7's or 1's...I said they were 7's...which delayed the hobboboys and myself a little, my incorrect reading took us away from the "Spectator Sport" area.......they were 1's.........We strolled right past the cache location, because we were talking....however, squid was behind us about 30 metres...he found the cache without the gps.....what a little legend....the hobboboys made the log first as they did all the work, with me tagging along...TFTC

** UPDATE **

After logging this cache on my iPhone and moving on my merry way I happen to realise after a distance that I had taken the pen from the cache. Red Face Upon returning to GZ I found the cache was gone. What the? Surprised The only other people in the are were the park rangers cleaning up after the recent flooding. I managed to chase them down to check where one said they had seen me "looking dodgy as hell" and took the litter I had left. After an explanation of Geocaching they allowed me to have it back and I returned it to GZ. I think that's enough caching for today. Big Grin

Lovely way to spend the late afternoon thank goodness for daylight saving or final wpt and GZ may have been in darkness. Wish we had had 2 wheeled transport instead of two feet. Great cache though. WPt1 took a few minutes to locate but after that we were on a roll. hardest part was dodging muggles plenty of shoelace tieing happened at some wpts as a distaction.

This was one of the best caches that we did today.
Left our car behind and did it all on foot finding the waypoints easily as expected and watched some tennis, a cricket match as well as a few joggers on the track.
All waypoints were clear and I hope they are not removed by anyone in the future.
The final hide was superb as it concealed a surprisingly large container.

Thanks for the fun

This was a very well put together multi with some well hidden and accurate waypoints, interesting locations to visit and a pleasant path to stroll along. My only concern came at the end when I found myself on the wrong side of the creek. Do I go all the way around or risk snakes and getting wet? Fortunately I spotted a crossing and sprinted through hoping to avoid any unwanted contact.

Thanks,

Thanks for a terrific journey Hanseeka!
It provided a wonderful afternoon stroll around this beautiful area. Cleverly hidden waypoints with exact GPS locations.
We really enjoyed finding this cache and were very thankful for the 'helper' cache when finding waypoint 2.
A great activity for the whole family. (I took a geo-virgin along with me and she loved it)

This was cache # 26 of 41 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our tour of Bendigo. After walking to the first two points my foot was now beginning to feel rather sore, this was my first time out walking after being on crutches for six weeks after two foot operations, I convinced Alan that we should drive to the rest of the points and he agreed, I enjoyed the cache and found all the points easy to find and read. My thanks to Hanseeka for the cache.

More walking for A2Y on a sore foot but we managed to avoid most of it. Each of the waypoints was easy to find, but more importantly, clear, an issue to cause us problems much later on another cache. He made the find at GZ and all in all a most enjoyable cache, thanks Hanseeka.

In company with two potential junior Geocachers (John & Mathew), we all enjoyed the walk that accompanies this cache. Certainly a great spot for a well designed multi. The inventiveness of the waypoint design was certainly appreciated. Lots of muggles in the area, so cache retrieval was a challenge.

We got the first coords super quick and then got stuck at the stump for 20mins before giving it up for the night. Before you say there was no stump we found out that we had misread one of the numbers. Boy it really was a good stump for a hide though. Error corrected we quickly made our way to the remaining points and the kids were impressed with the container and contents. Thanks for a bit of exercise.

Found after getting back on the right track (Sharna needs her eyes tested!) a lovely walk with thankfully a lot of seats?? Kids surprised by the size or the container, thanks for the fun!

Found by Roma and Max.
This certainly was a pleasant place for a stroll tonight, and also a very well lit area at one of our search points, as tennis under lights was in full swing at the nearby courts!
This was also a trip down memory lane for us as we passed close by the 2nd hide we had placed close by, some 5 years ago, and now archived.
We followed your clues to find a good sized container, well hidden right where our receiver was indicating.
We signed the log and made no exchange,
Thank you Hanseeka for a most enjoyable experience, but unfortunately no gain from the ticket.
Romax.
