. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Today steffixx and me spent another wonderful day here in NZ while driving from Okiwi Bay to Anakiwa to hike a little bit of the Queen Charlotte Track. When we arrived back in Okiwi Bay in the evening, there was still this Tradi to be found... So we went for it and it was a quick found with a nice view! Now our names are also written into this dry logbook and the cache is hidden again! Yippie - another found in New Zealand!! A big thank you to rangi for leading us here and showing this beautiful place and of course also for maintaining this cache here on site!Best wishes from the North Sea, Germany, from Cuxine . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ________________oooooooo____________oooooooooooooo_________oooooooooooooooooo________oooooooooooooooooooo_______oooooooooooooooooooo____oooooo_______oooooooooooooooooooo___ooo__ooo_______oooooooooooooooooooo__oooo____oo________oooooooooooooooooooooooo_________oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo_oooo_______oooooooooooooooooo________ooooo___ooooooooooooooooooooooo_________oo_ooo____oooooooooooooooooooooooooo_____oooooooo__ooo_oooooo__________oo___oooo_______ooo__ooo_ooo______oooo__ooo_______oooo___ooo__ooo___ooooo___ooo_____ooo___ooo____oo____ooo____oooooo__ooo____ooooooo____________ooo_____ooooo____ooo
The day is moving on and so must we. Will pick up the last few easy ones and then head on home. Will have to come back for the last few. This was nice and easy as had come across this type of hide before. tftc

This looked like a nice spot to rest for a while, but we still had a few more caches to find, so off we went. Nifty hiding spot. TFTC.
A longer walk than expected. Been past over 10 times but didn't even notice a small parking area. Tftc
Beautiful spot for a cache and a clever hide.
We had a great Easter weekend at Okiwi Bay and this cache was showed to friends, telling them about Geocaching. Awesome hide, thanks rangi.

3 January 2022 12:25. A very pleasant spot to sit and contemplate, TFTC. Would have stayed longer, but French Pass awaits!
Off for a day-walk with Mellow today and I thought I might try Archer Track between Elaine and Penzance Bays in the Sounds.
On the road home now but time still for a couple more. Having looked it the usual places for a house of this type and came up blank, I then wondered ‘what if?’ And you know what? I was right. It remains in place after all this time.
Thanks Rangi

Knew where this was at first pass, but local kids doing their bit, and looking after the local park, clearing away overgrown foliage, to free up the basic but workable park equipment. They did a great job, as when I came back later, it was a quick sat and scoop.
Found it it’s still there! Thanks
PS. Logbook was full, I replaced it with new one ️

Visiting Blenheim from Dunedin. Out to Elaine Bay, but could get no signal on my phone GPS. Aiming for my 300th cache, so back to Okiwi Bay for some signal. Quick find in a pleasant spot. A balmy winter's day, but strong wind around. Clouds on the top of the (steep) hills. Thanks for bringing me here.
Walked over the hill to find our first cache for this decade. Lots of activity out on the water today. TFTC.
Auf dem Weg zum French Pass eine kleine Pause eingelegt und dieses schöne Plätzchen mit nettem Versteck gefunden. Danke!
We could find this geocache during our holiday in New Zealand. Today we wanted to discover the French Pass and we took the opportunity to find some geocaches. First one was at a resting place in Okiwa. Nice spot. Then we took the earth cache at French Pass. While coming back we visited Elaine Bay. We could find all 3 geocaches there thanks to the low tide. What a wonderful piece in New Zealand. We could spot some stingray's and starfish as well.
During my Business Trip to New Zealand I found this together with Knarf48. Greetings from Bonn/Germany. TFTC.

Auch hier bin ich auf meiner Neuseelandrundreise lang gekommen und ich danke allen Owner für Ihre Mühe.
Beauty!
Fav point for many reasons.
Nearly weather proof, flood proof... clever, yet simple. TFTC
Overnighted at Holiday Park to shelter from the wind.

A seat with a rod holder attached. That’s my kind of bench. Neat cache. Bit different to the norm. Tftc
A quick find after a quick stretch in Okiwi Bay prior to the final leg to French Pass, TFTC
A quick find while taking a break from the road on our way out to French Pass.
All in good order - signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.

Out with Taybeedragon and six year old Whero. Decided to go somewhere else and ended up here, in Okiwi Bay. Whero and I carefully checked all the wrong places while the Dragon made a quick find. Then a rest on the bench from all that hard work driving around, while Whero hit the swings.
The Seagnoid needs a cache today and I have Whero (a little friend) with me for the day. So we are off for a treasure hunt at Okiwi Bay.
Neat hidey hole here. The boys where on their knees checking out the garden. While getting sorted and the cache tagged, Whero hit the swing. No treasure - again!! Cheers

A lovely spot to sit and take in the view this evening. Thanks for bringing us here Rangi.

staying in Okiwi Bay, so had a nice walk along to other end of Bay to quickly grab this one. TFTC
Well a geocaching trek was on the caching agenda as we went off for a geocaching spree! Nice day for caching & all of capperz agreed! Found this cache on a lovely day, went and left with capperz and another found cache! Thanks for putting this cache out. Refer to capperz log for more detail. Cache may be signed as nightowl 19, no19, n19 or etc T F T C
A trip to Elaine Bay has been on the cards all week and with the promise of some settled Spring weather it was to be a capperz family day out, and Tally the dog was also looking forward to a trip into the Sounds having recently been granted a DOC dog permit.
After the 'success' of a roadside sausage sizzle still on the taste buds from last weeks trip to Port Underwood and around areas we decided a repeat menu would be a welcome stop for an impromptu lunch. Only downside was that someone, who shall remain unnamed (OK, it was me!) left the gas bottle in the shed so we had all the gear (nearly) and no idea. That kind of curtailed the fuller day we were hoping for but still enjoyed a lovely drive in the September sunshine. Saw quite a lot of the spoils of the hunt today, deers heads and hooves, skins and enough oyster and scallop shells to last a lifetime.
Nice placement here, a variation on a normal caching theme, nicely executed

I said " I bet its a cemetery." and then we got sidetracked talking about finds in those special places. Lovely peaceful spot here too. TFTC #7263
Yep. Had a rest here - - - for a minute or so while we located the cache and signed the log. TFTC .
Wow awesome place to rest and enjoy the beauty this bay has, very quiet on easter weekend, thanks
another playground that one would not normally notice if it was not for Geocaching
A beautiful place to sit and rest. Found without a GPS with the help of a hint from paddle chick thank you
Quick find on the way to Okiwi Bay for a kayaking weekend, camping out on one of the islands TFTC

Made a brief stop in Okiwi Bay on the way to French Pass today and hunted out this cache. After having a look at a nearby object which had a slightly cache-like appearance to it (but it was half full of water) the real cache was quickly found. Signed log, TFTC
We found this cache down by the sea and had to wait until the guy in the caravan was having a snooze. A quick snatch and the cache was ours. This is a beautiful area and our 800th cache which will make it memorable.
The first day of Spring today and what a beauty it was. We had to do one cache in the area for a specific purpose and used that as an excuse to do the Goat Track as well. Obviously the rest in Okiwi Bay was most welcome with a cleverly hidden cache as a bonus. TFTC
This cache was one of two options for us to complete a challenge so it was relief that we found the area deserted. Co-ords spot on so it meant a quick find. TFTC.
Quick dash from the car, cache in hand within seconds, log signed and back in its place. Took the trackable coin,TFTC!! Great Spot.
12.30pm. Located after a reasonably quick search. Cunning hide. Did a little cache maintenance as log was saturated. Replaced log plus container and left a pathtag.
