Time for the owner to check this hide please? (WackyB last visited website Oct 2012 so seems not to be active anymore.)
Time to go, Wacky B has long gone, cache last found a year ago., unless someone who has found it can check if its still there, I know the CO has some pretty cunning caches, at one stage there were suggestions I had a new challenger-;)
Enjoyed the view, found the boundary marker on the post and the plastic stick mentioned by the last seachers but nothing else. Looks like it needs a check.
No luck here today, GPS seemed to be spot on, leading us to a very apt area but no sign of the cache. Widened our search and still came up empty.
Stopped to get Uranus nearby, we walked up the hill to get this one too, but no luck. We found a plastic stick taped to a post that that was at GZ but no cache and the spot seemed to match the clue, but no cache was found. We widened our search and still couldn't find it.
Enjoyed trotting up to the summit. Great views. Amazing properties to rubber neck at too.

What a great view. Took me a few mins to find as I thought the cache container was rubbish.

Great view from this little park. Thanks for bringing us here. Was glad to find it as we had not been sucessful on our first two caches down the road.
Thanks for bringing to me the best view in Auckland and a another stunning day. My entire dwelling would fit into a single lounge in some these oversized houses. The cache camo had me fooled for a minute, even though it looks like almost all of its outer layer has peeled off. Well done.
More of a climb than you first think, but wow nice spot and great litle cache, TFTC.
Got to GZ a bit puffed, had to enjoy the view for a bit .
Then started searching, saw the cache but thought Nah. looked everywhere else, then finally had a last attempt before doing a DNF, and there it was! Interesting container.

Between the rain, could find a moment to climb this hill. Too cold to try a song, so did went directly for the cache. As over the years the camo did came off, so an easy find for me.
Spot is wonderful and deserves a cache.

last one on way home. great views on such a clear sunny day. well hidden cache and sustained some stab injuries from a nearby gorse bush while hunting for it. TFTC
Climbed to the top and had the target in hand quickly. Went and checked the accuracy of my device at the trig - seems to be OK. TFTC.
I was heading out east this evening to get some caches and exercise on a new trail, so thought I should stop by and find this WackyB cache on the way. A good start to my evening exercise and a super quick find. Some great views from up here. Probably not the best viewing time--just after sunset--but still very good. Cheers for the cache and showing me this lovely spot!
You are right about the views, amazing place for a cache and a nice quick find. TFTC
Super amazing views from the top, Thanks for taking me to this amazing spot, I think this is where I will be spending next guyfawkes!! Cache was easily found.
Working in the area today so a chance to sneak up and nab this cache. Found this cache lying out in the open grass, nearby to the trig. Considering previous logs mentioning this cache as being "moved" from GZ and wanting to keep this cache alive, first checked my GPS with the trig S 36deg 59.472, E 174deg 56.738 (clean bill of health for my GPS). Then "moved" the cache back to GZ, in line with the hint and published coords, hopefully where a WackyB cache would more likely be. Had I left it where it was (16m away), a mower would have made mincemeat of it. Great Auckland views today and well worth the clamber up the hand-railed steps. Rather a posh track for access to a trig, oh, but then again I glance back at the title of the cache. TFTC.
Back here again for the second time to find this cache. After a recent find by kiwifamily i realised that this cache was infact still around. Found after a quick search away from where the GPS was telling me to go. Looks like this cache has been moved to a new spot but still available to other cachers - youll just need to widen your search area. TNLNSL - TFTC! Our 200th cache!! Took time to admire the view and all the lights just on darkness.
Found in totally different spot to what we thought, luckily the wife was on to it!
Was on the ground so put it where we thought it should be.

Absolutely stunning views from the top! Spent about 5 minutes searching to only find what looks like it was once the cache. All i could find (which i presume was the cache container) was a polystyrene container shaped kinda like a capsicum with all the contents missing. Took time to admire the 360ยบ views before heading off.
My apologies for the LONG! absence from Geocaching. It is with regret that some of our caches have gone, but I hope to be able to review, update, restore, replace those that remain in the coming weeks. I would like to thank all that have helped maintain some of our caches in the true spirit of Geocaching, and extended thanks to those that have offered help in replacing those missing.

If the cache was a white styrofoam container formerly painted green, it's in very rough shape and appears to be empty. If there was a lid or a cap, it's gone and the hollow was empty. If this isn't the cache, we couldn't find it!
First find for the day on a short geocaching outing.
Cache container looking a little worse for wear. SL. TFTC.

This has some of the best views around with both coasts clearly visible plus much of Auckland and Manukau. The cache gave me a good laugh when I found it as it's perfectly themed. All I need to do now is to win lotto and I could move up here. Some of the houses are so large I bet the people in them need a GPS to get around!
Did a few of your caches on my last visit to Auckland so I should have known what to expect. Cache met and exceeded expectations - a hot cache indeed. (Camo rather flakey now but I got the idea) TFTC, Biggles.
At the end of a long caching day we thought, not another hill, but it wasn't too bad and when we located the cache it certainly brought a smile to our face - well worth the walk, thanks WackyB T4TC.
The new container looks great. So fresh I thought I would start planning on an extra at dinner time. More great camo. Thanks.
original container was well and truly chewed, we've replaced it with another so all is hot and happening again
Now that someone has done some weeding and spraying along the boundary the cache is somewhat exposed especially as it is needing an urgent repaint job.
A very desirable place to live indeed. I drive past the turn off every day to and from work and was pleasantly surprised at how the land out there has been developed. A short trudge up the hill and I quickly located the hot property. While not intending to place a maintenance log on the container, I'm thinking it needs a bit of a spruce up; in order to look a little more natural.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Found together with TWS & OGPh. Was a quick sprint up the hill and as we still had to find OGs car and be home in time for tea. Very cool container. Amazing view over southisde. T4TC
Hot views from up here. Quite a contrast between the hot properties on one side of the ridge, and the almost abandoned-looking land on the other. Played the usual "which house would you choose if you won $22 million powerball?" Thanks for showing us this view.

I thought this end of Redoubt Rd was a No Exit, but it seems they've continued it on - so I very much enjoyed exploring this route. And the views at GZ are the best in the area, I reckon. T4TC - M@
What an awsome place for a cache.Who wouldn't want a view like this?TB & coin visit.

Great location for a cache... The kids were peppering us with lots of questions about the surrounding views. Thanks for bringing us here.

Climbed the hill as the sun was setting. The stars came out as I was searching, both above and below.
Nice cache, hot property indeed! Views would make it worth doing on a sunnier day, especially if you bike out there as I did. TFTC
What a great view from the top. Really enjoyed the cache. My third FTF in 2 days. Brilliant!
My 3rd 2ndTF of the day. Beaten twice by new-bee Gadget-Tron, well done.
I only noticed the publication after an hour.
Nice area, and great views (at night). Will come back during the day.
