On approach, I saw where I thought the cache might be, but the GPS was indicating a different spot. I initially followed the GPS and searched where it indicated first, before extending my search to my original instincts, and the cache was quickly located there. Cache is in good condition but the logbook shows signs of previous moisture, but the logbook has dried, so can be written on and stamped well. Thanks for placing this one.
My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
It was a quick find on my way back to the Gawler Gateway Tourist Park where I am staying
Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today we headed out to the Barossa, with the main points of interest being a winery (of course), the chocolate factory, and of course the famous Geostuff. Caching wise we mostly targeted ones we had pre-planned on a list but ended up with some extras we happened to be passing as well. We ended the day with a handful back in Adelaide, and an evening walk to grab a few close to our accommodation. Overall, it was yet another very enjoyable and productive day.Quiet little rest stop, there was just one truck parked up well away from GZ. A quick find. Thanks for the cache
Nice quick find whilst stretching my legs on the drive back to Adelaide. Most inopportune day for my pen to die so log not signed. TFTC #573
Found during a caching trip to South Australia chasing specific challenge targets with some easy PnGs or types to boost the numbers. An easy find by the cars headlights. Hmm, think we still have a long drive back to our Adelaide motel in the dark.
Quick find here while caching in the area.
Apologies for the late log.

What was meant to be a swift (max) 3 hour round trip to Snag a Tag, turned into an unplanned Geo Day
A great day it turned out to be! Snagged The Tag, accidentally Jet-skied a multi, met a fellow Geocacher, achieved my Daily Cache find and thereby achieved the first day of the July Wheel of Challenges, aswell as adding just shy of a dozen other caches to the list, which adds to the other milestones and challenges I am working toward

12513 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1125. The CO's were doing a maintenance. We tagged along. New Log and container repairs done. SL Tnx SnappyTomCats { Grandeeze Mrs }
Cache needs desperate maintenance. There is no lid and the log has deteriorated beyond it's life expectancy. I would have replaced but didn't bring my caching first aid kit with me today.
Well "The day and the darkening sky" indicated to me that there was rain well on it's way. Thankfully it was a quick find. However, unable to sign log as it is just small bits of paper that have deteriorated beyond signing.

I couldn’t find this one fast enough. It really is a terrible smell here do I logged and took off as fast as I could.
Cache hunting was a lot of fun today with goingplaces2. This was one of the caches we found and two more names were noted on the log. TFTC.
Enjoyed the caching outing today with ilook4geo and found mostly multi caches with just a few others added to the list. Each log was signed as usual and all caches were put back in place to await future finders. Thanks go to Grandeeze (Mrs) for this cache placement.
This is definitely the last one for the day….. said every cacher at some point!
Time to head back to the big smoke. It’s been an enjoyable weekend in the fresh, damp, green countryside.

Thanks SnappyTomCats for the cache.
Doctor Owl needed to go out north today and I joined her to get a few caches that we both hadn't found. [^]
We had come to this parking bay for another cache close by so Owl stopped here for me to find this cache before heading to the other one. A quick find.
The lid is not attached any more it is just sitting on top of the container but the contents was all dry.
Thanks for the cache SnappyTomCats.

Tftc.... had a few earwigs in it so I shut the lid straight away (may have let a little scream out) and put it back!!! Sorry I'm petrified of earwigs
Today I had an afternoon planned around Freeling. I had a big list of caches to do and once I got to my first cache selected 30 to do.
The drive out had taken much longer than anticipated due to the m2 being closed so this meant less time for caching.
The weather was a bit glum with squally showers and a chilly wind.
Still had an enjoyable day out collecting what was needed (multi and a puzzle) and with only one dnf was happy with a 30 cache haul.
Quick find here good job as the stench was unbearable! TFTC

I’ve been to a few of these themed restaurants stops now, nice work. Thanks for getting me to stop at this one Grandeeze.
Having finally decided to make my way back to Adelaide after a caching weekend in and around the riverland, I could not resist finding a few more caches on the drive back. All caches were found quickly and in good condition in an enjoyable drive home.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
In the Barossa, staying in Nuri with our good friends Snappy Tom Cats. Today our final trip (hopefully) into Gawler for medicals, then drive back via Tanunda and Anguston.
Easy find just off the highway between two parked trucks. Contains lots of itty itty its of paper. Thanks Mrs Grandeeze (SnappyTomCats)
