I did not have much to do today, so I decided to create a trip to Forest Hill/Wagga.We pulled up to the cache location and met up with ADAcache who was struggling to find the cache. So after a short search with help from a past finder, we found it! It was nicely tucked away like a Fred6603 cache should be. This cache was the sixth find of the day. TFTC!
Had a much better look for this today since the wasps are done but still no luck at GZ. May need a CO check.
Was about to walk away when johno arrived with swimmergurl. Once I had confirmation the the coords were putting me on the wrong side the hide was discovered in the places I had been looking.Glad to have this one off my frownie list, a FP from me for the challenge, and the unloved count.
My third DNF I thought I logged the others. Here with a team of 3 in the rain so no muggles. Couldn’t even find with a hint

A 2 day trip with ZQX to Albury and Wagga Wagga, focusing on some higher D/T caches. We were keen to avenge a previous DNF on this one. We spent well over an hour here. After a while we contacted the CO for a hint, and were able to narrow down the search, but still struggled to find the WP ... Pleased to finally sign the log. TFTC.

Trying to clean up some Caches around town whilst feeling energetic.
Enjoyed going back to attempt this one again.
Finally success. There is now 2 paper wasp nests at GZ.
I had Geoson with me so was unable to remove the nests.
Approach with caution.
Thanks Fred6603 for placing this cache for us and others to enjoy.

We have tried to find WP1 a number of times, but this afternoon we had the CO to keep an eye on us and give us a nudge when we needed it. Thank goodness for their help and humour. Very clever and apart from a new paper wasp nest being constructed near GZ it was an easy find. SL at 4.40pm #6074 TFTC and the frustration Fred6603 - we will be back to do a few more of yours on another visit to Wagga.
12 Places before go, does this mean before I go crazy. I am sure that is where this one has nearly sent. I have now been here three times, they said third time lucky. After some more hints at the New Year morning tea today and some more eyes to help me look for waypoint one, Bingo [@JohnoMawbs](http://coord.info/PRH05TX) found it, all along we had been looking for it at the wrong place. Within a short period of time of being there we had the code in hand and on our way to ground zero.
Heading on our way to ground zero we went past go then back again, venture high and low, here and there, finally finding it after many, many seconds for tortures clambering over tracks and trails. The cache is in great condition. We were the first in the new log, signed it, replaced it, then headed back toward the Geo Mobiles.
We had a rest at the relics to reminisce about our past and present finds, when we saw some other caches approaching, they were just checking up on us, thanks guys.
Thanks for the cache Fred6603, Lil Donna

With a day off in hand and a possible souvenir available to redeem, I decided on what better way to enjoy my day with a day of caching over in Wagga. After my short night sleep I made my way over to the Wagga for the event which was first on my list and happens to be held at Macca’s. Afterwards, some of us tagged along with each other to find caches we had attempted before but put a DNF on it. We also visited a couple of the newer caches in Wagga before heading our separate ways. TB visit on all caches and on some of the smaller caches I signed as 1/1 JM. I enjoyed my day out. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for the enjoyment it brought me today.
Today’s caches:
1 Event
6 Finds and 1 Revisit
This one wasn't on my list to find but because [@LilDonnasAdventure](http://coord.info/PRRDT3H) and I found out that we both had a on this one, we decided on taking another look. When we arrived at the WP (for me the 5th time) I made the find after a shortish search and another great camo and I expected nothing less from this evi... I mean mastermind. Once the we received the information needed for GZ, we replaced the WP and headed off. Once at GZ and after some looking from different angles we made the find. We found out we were the first to sign the new log book. On our way back to the cars we were met by the CO who was checking up on us making sure we had found it and because we already had found it, he decided to let us know what the name means and that was clever. TFT GREAT C and another FP for Fred6603!

Here we are back again hoping to log a multi as part of our finds for today - but no, we have bombed out again at WP1. It seems lots of folks have trouble locating the first part of this multi, but even after Hans & Linda cracked that part, they were still unable to locate & sign the log at GZ. Think it is time for the CO to check GZ too!
We have worked out where GZ will be (we think) but it seems the cache container may be missing anyway, whether we crack WP 1 or not. Could the CO check GZ as well and let us know if it still in place.
TFTC. We are logging this with the permission of the CO .
We have been stuck in Wagga Wagga for the last few weeks waiting on parts and getting some necessary maintenance done. We first had a look at this one a couple of weeks ago while new tyres were being fitted to the geo-vehicle. We failed at WP1. We visited again and then again. We asked the CO for a hint and armed with this we stopped as we passed by on the way back to camp. What a cunning hide. Armed with the required information we headed for GZ. A 30 minute search revealed nothing. A return visit also resulted in the same. The CO gave us permission to log as we had done the hard yards and the final may have gone AWOL. It was good to get this off the blue face list just before we continue our trip to warmer climates.
Thanks for the challenge Fred6603 and it was great to meet you.

After finding Old And New we still had time so went for a walk toWP1. We checked every nook and cranny but came up empty. Would have been nice to add 7 months of unloved .
Hi there Fred6603.
This is the 5th of 5 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 11:44:00 AM, but despite the CO's hint we just couldn't locate WP1, so here's another DNF from us to add to the list.
Regards
Ian and Penny

A caching day trip from Canberra to Wagga Wagga with Fox in Jox, AngelG27 and ZQX. WP1 was too elusive for us today.
A geocaching day-trip to Wagga with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX. Collected 7 different cache types, 6 different cache sizes, joined an event and collected a D5T5.
After the event, we tried this cache. Construction fences at WP1, which didn't bode well. Four sets of eyes didn't find the details we needed. Another day. TFTC Fred6603

Headed to Wagga early for a day of caching with ZQX, Fox in Jox, Tikva with a few interesting caches in our minds. Very cool start and a long day. Great caches and great company!
No luck at this one after the event. Too tricky for us today, and we were not going to ask for another hint! Another day
This is a great cache - Thanks Fred6603 - took me 4 goes to find it though - Out with KAT & Bushtrakkers so we had 4 sets of eyes looking for this one - Even then it was still took some time and hard to locate - It was great - GZ located once cache in hand - Log signed and all returned to exactly where we located - You are very clever and a bit evil Fred6603
Arrived at WP 1 with BAB and KAT and knew we could be here for awhile as we had already experienced the quality of Fred's craftsmanship. With 4 sets of eyes we carefully combed the area checking and rechecking spots someone had just looked at and still came up empty handed. Then Geo-Hubby had an idea with for 4 sets of eyes now staring at the one spot all was revealed. Collected co-ords and headed to GZ. TFTC
This is my 3rd attempt at this one - Even with a hint given to me by the CO and the time he has taken to check and confirm it is still there - It eluded me again today - This is a very tricky and well camo'd hide - Thanks to people like Fred6603 for providing challenging caches in such interesting areas
Spent an hour or more scouring approximately 20 metres from co-ordinates and there was no cache to be seen in this location
I don't Know why a needs maintenance log was put on this cache especially as I had already confirmed with the cacher earlier today that the cache was still there.
I have just returned from a walk in the heat just to satisfy my own curiousity that Waypoint 1 and the cache are both still alive and well.
I have just returned from a walk in the heat just to satisfy my own curiousity that Waypoint 1 and the cache are both still alive and well.
Not a maintenance log just a necessary action to remove the wrongly added needs maintenance log.
Finally found on 3rd attempt with a helpful txt from the CO. A platypus was down in the river under the bridge while we were here. TFTC
We couldn't even get past first base here today. Looked all around our indicated GZ for the nano for a good 10 minutes before admitting defeat. Our thanks anyway to Fred6603.
Wagga & The Rock December 2014. Sol de Lune suggested a trip west to get caches we both had not done concentrating on some of the Wagga Multi's that have evaded us over the years. We had a successful trip culminating with the event at The Rock. Thanks to all the locals who helped us when we cried for help. Last for the day, and with a hint in hand we were able to locate WP1 this time. GZ was in an interesting location and even this took a good bit of finding. I am glad I was not alone for this one. Once again a great piece of work to make something that blends in so well. Thanks.

In Wagga and the surrounding area for a couple of days caching with Albida, and we DNF'd this one (2nd time for me) yesterday. Fortunately for us we met up with the CO at the Christmas Event last night, and we were given a hint for WP1.
Back today to try and again, and although I didn't have the aforementioned hint, I searched again, but still came up emptied handed. Over to Albida who looked for another minute or so....and the very neat hide was uncovered. Wow.......what a great hide that is. From there we headed to GZ where the cache was soon in hand.
I'm sure if I wouldn't have found the WP before we needed to hit the road to drive home, so thanks to Fred for the hint......
Thanks for the cache and the chance to reverse yet another DNF on one of your caches. Def favourite for this one.....

The next multi on our list but after a good 15 minute search, we decided to called it quits. Searched high and low, but obviously just not in the right spot.........but hope to come back before we leave the area tomorrow morning......
Thanks, as usual, Fred6603......
Thanks, as usual, Fred6603......
Arrived at WP1 for our second attempt, where we searched for a very long time.
Finally, we were able to add our name to the log.
A great day to be out and about, after the wild storm last night.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Fred6603, for us and others to find.

Weather change cool but little drizzle day... Great enjoyed drive around of Wagga Wagga caches for a day, great WP1 then easy stroll on nice track to GZ good spot... Thanks
Like other cachers, this one was too good for us today. Admired the view & made good use of the water fountain to quench our thirst & fill our empty water bottle.
Owner had a check and sure enough the cache had been taken by the floods. Another was placed and I was back for the find. Thanks Fred6603 for the quick recovery, and enjoyable cache.
Finally a bit of success. I was back for the third time and found the WP1 coords in approximately 3SECONDS!!! amazing I know!! But then alas, I got stuck at GZ for 30minutes. I'll come back. Sigh. TFTWP1. hehe.
Tried to do this one this morning and put another notch in the fred6603 belt but alas WP1 eluded me and was unsuccessful in this attempt at finding the well hidden beginning to this wonderful location for a start. Still enjoyed the area and was unaware of its existence.
Thanks Fred6603 for bring me here.
Thanks Fred6603 for bring me here.
Have to log a DNF at WP1. Looked in quite a few places, even had 4.5y/o g/daughter poking a stick into likely looking holes. Don't know if we were in the right place or not. Staying in Wagga for the weekend - caching, child minding and touristy stuff. It was hot and sweaty on the walking/cycling path even at 4.30pm! Enjoyed spotting the kookaburras, just could not spot a nano. From other logs it must be a very sneaky one.
Found with o'cholio on our fourth visit to the area after we used a phone-a-friend. TFTC
Finally "found" on the fourth (or was it the fifth?) visit. We got WP1 after a couple of visits, but after no luck for the second time at GZ, the hotline was used. The owner promptly met us at GZ and confirmed the cache missing, while generously giving us permission to log this as a find. A devious piece of work. Nice to meet you, guys. TFTC.
Another attempt on a Fred cache, but unfortunately another DNF. Whatever we tried, we couldn't find WP1.
Thanks anyway.....
Thanks anyway.....
Another DNF on another Fred cache. Funny that no one has attempted this since January, or is that no one who has logged a DNF. Nice area, and plenty of places for a good GZ.
449. And now number 3 for the day. Only really wanted to find one place here before we went........................
Yes, another devious 'Fred' hide! We are with Coruze on this one, we were in the company of DJ Rascal who also said 'you'll have your hand on it numerous times' & that we did! Hot n Sweaty we finally came up with WP1, and off we went to gZ, which was a much quicker find.
Many thanks for a visit to the area, and another torturous cache.
TNLN SL.
Cheers!

We do not do to many multis but after doing the nearby trad, Fred said lets check this one, ok off we went on a short walk, wpt 1 was found as another crafty Fred hide, then numbers into the gps and off to gz, lots of new camo in the cache area but the booty was found dry, top stuff, thanx guys for the booty, cheers
Another of Fred's brilliant hides. We tried to start this one a couple of times, once in the rain.,....no good, once at night......no good, today in the blazing sun with the heat radiating of the fence, rocks and footpath.......no good! After an extensive search and the sweat pouring off us all we decided to call for help,.....Are we in the right spot?.....no not really...SHIT..With the gps putting us in an area that wasn't right, it was time to call it quits! Walked back to the car only to find fred6603 pull up. After explaining what was happening we all walked back.........this is the area.......Fred6603 sat back and kept saying you had your hand on it, numerous times (I'm sure he was having a good chuckle on the inside), FINALLY the cache was revealed and there was a great *Sigh* of releif from us all! Okay, it's off to the GZ and log this bugger, even the GZ was well hidden! I have to say that it's a great feeling doing this one and the work that goes into the hides are brilliant. SL TNLN...made our way back to the car, exhausted...off for a cold drink! TFTC
Tftc found in the open we put it back where we thought it should be very tricky hide .
The weather was pretty miserable this morning, and by the time we got to the GZ for this one, it was pouring. On the up side, it meant there weren't any muggles out, and at WP1, that meant we could spend as much time as we wanted hunting. We searched high and low for 30 minutes, before we eventually came up with the hide. Very neatly done, and a great hide. Off to the GZ, and it didn't take too long before we had the cache in hand. Thanks for another interesting cache, with a sneaky hide!
Found this in the company of baby&Mrsgopher. Ingenious hide, Very well done. TNLN. Signed Log.
1181 1179 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1320 in company with Freeunicorn,Noddy&TessyBear. The Mrs and baby had found watpoint 1 some time ago to see that gz had been muggled by the workers who are just across the bridge. We had intended to complete the cache some time ago.Today we thought that it would be a good learning process for 2 of our new cachers to find and to be their first multi. After a little time looking for waypoint one again, and to see the look on faces as the information was gaind was just pricless a pity Mrs didn't get the looks on camera. The search for GZ was made a little more difficult as the GPS'r was out by about 5 metres.(But to baby&Mrs was it.You just can't believe what you see). After looking for about 15 minutes cache was in hand. All 3 teams signed and replaced container.Tnx Fred6603 another cahe that is worth the effort.

I almost gave up on this one. But being a Fred6603 I needed it!! It was getting late so I was becoming cached out. The final GZ had me crawling up over and under. So many possibilities but in the end I avoided the wasps and grabbed the hide. I almost missed it as it was sort of normal. Ha! Beer time.. well almost.... Love to upload a pic but.....the light here was special so some longish shadows is all I'll let you see.
Clear skies from TeamAstro. [^]
Found in the company of MtbikerOz During the Wagga weekend
Thanx to a new friendship and a hint gleaned from that person, we had a clue and found it quickly.....I'm sure we already tried that!!

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT HIDE. LOVED IT. Found with MtnLioness while wandering around Wagga Wagga during the OZ MEGA WAGGA WAGGA EVENT, Thanks.
This one was tough. After a long search we narrowed WP1 down to several possible places, but were not having much success and ended up biting the bullet and using the phone-a-friend option. The Rats pointed us in the right direction - we were on the right track but needed a better grip on things; we were soon on our way to GZ. Dodging all manner of sharp pointy things both insect and vegetable, the cache was quickly to hand and soon branded with our team's name. Thanks for the cache Fred, very ingenious.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Everlasting, and Alchemy2 beat us to find WPT1 and final cache. Loved your caches. Thanks for that.
Probably the toughest cache of the trip up here.
I was here with Chad of The Morris this morning and after we found WP1 quite quickly we came unstuck at GZ.
Our GPS's differed but after searching for ages we rang for some help and then we found your cache.
What a devilish hide indeed.
Thanks Fred.

After a couple of slack days caching wise (but not social wise) Mr Morris joined Feathertop for the morning and boosted the numbers. This one caused them some grief and they required some assistance wirh the tricky blighter. TFTC
Love your create cache - admire it so much.... Excellent one... With varuna, alchemly2 and crank1., Alchemy2 found the cache at final coords. Beauty area - interesting as well. SL. Many thanks Fred6603.
Everlasting found wp1. I found the cache. Great team.

This was cache # 5 of 25 for the day in the company of acts2youthgroup on day three of our Oz Mega event.
This was a little harder to find, but acts2yg had it in his hand eventually.
The wasps nest was a bit of a concern.
This was another clever hide.
Thanks to Fred6603 for the cache.

This was cache # 6 of 27 for the day in the company of hipressure on day three of our Oz Mega event trip. This caused us a little bit of trouble but we persisted and soon had my hand on it, the near by wasps nest had me a little concerned as I had been stung by one of those before and had my hand swell up real bad. My thanks to Fred6603 for the cache.
I was surprised not to have too much trouble with this one. The first wpt was found through experience and the second point was a process of elimination. There were some wasps nearby that I had to be wary of too!
Many thanks for another cunning set of hides!

While waiting for a quick repair on my car across the road, I went for a walk to this one. I only had about 10 mins at WP1 though, and was again beaten by a fiendish Fred hide...
This was our First Fred6603 cache today and unfortunately we didn't fare very well at it. After about a half hour search we couldn't come up with wpt1 so we will have to return another day
After taking the nano-son for a walk, we picked up WP1 some time ago after some detailed searching. Today was the day I got to tick this one off the list.
With the cache owner in location on a business trip, I searched GZ looking for that elusive log. With a little guidance, the find was made and the log signed.
Thanks for another great cache and a chance to visit a place I never knew was here. Great location for some frustration!

Another tricky Fred cache. This one had us really thinking we searched high and low and we even found some of the local cats eyes. they really hurt.
Thanks Fred6603 for the challenge!

Found on a 'Gangsters' Wagga clean up trip with The Rats, Gribbly, Big Matt and Shell and Farmer Frentzen.
With so many caches to tackle today a multi wouldn't normally be on the list but since it was a Fred6603 cache it was worth a visit. We weren't disappointed with WP1 which was well put together but didn't take too long with so many of us looking. The final cache location did have us more stumped though and after looking high, low, high then low again The Rats was able to stick his hand in and grab the cache.
Liked the name of the cache after we worked it out!

Found during a run down to Wagga Wagga with The Rats, Big Matt and Shell, Steeba and Gribbly. The details at WP1 were collected within a few minutes however we spent quite some time at GZ before we came up with the goods. TFTC.
The gangsters found this one as part of our Wagga assault. It took us a while to come up with the goods especially at GZ.
Thanks Fred.
Thanks Fred.
Waypoint 1 has been restored and the cache is now available. Can future cachers please not use excessive force because if this one is damaged again I will have to archive it.You do not need to use force or tools other than those supplied to access any of my caches so please please please no tools or excessive force. All that is required is one brain and two hands.
Found at 1445. With having done a few of Fred's caches, DJ and I were eager to cross another one off our list. Once we were at WP1, the GPS had us in the middle of two likely locations, so after a solid 20 min search, a call was made to point us in the general location. Soon after, DJ made the find in a place he had tried before, but as it was extremely difficult to get out, had missed it on the first run through. Was the numbers were obtained, we headed off to GZ where we were met by wasps, ants, and prickles. After another solid 15 min search, the cache was found in the least likely of locations, and we managed to walk away reasonable unscathed.
Thanks Fred for the fun.
Thanks Fred for the fun.
Well this cache has had a short but eventful career. I had it sitting in place since April. It was released on September 19 only to have the Council destroy it one week later. Now Waypoint 1 has been damaged, possibly terminally. The cache has been removed until I see if I can remake waypoint 1if not I may have to archive it.
As we expected, in the tradition of Fredd6603 we thought this one was going to be hard and it proved to be right. Even had to phone a friend at wpt 1 for a nudge in the right direction after 30 minutes of fruitless searching. Even GZ had us going for a bit and after thinking it had definitely, 100% positively had disappeared, only 1 option was left and Marcus was brave enough to do it and make the find.
Another trying Fred cache ticked off

I enlisted an ex-term-inator to assist with a return visit to GZ.
On the approach I stamped out several of the oversized nuisance ants & then stood by as wasp-watch with bug spray in hand while the termi-nator made a dash for the cache. No muggles about, so it was a quick find this time & then easily replaced. It's amazing what you can find when you have the right equipment.
TFTC again Fred,
Roostaman

After the last visitors I have had to replace 1 Bullant and 1 Killer Wasp. Could future cachers please be more careful as the cost of training Bullants and Killer Wasps these days is exorbitant.
Found way point one with some help, then was unable to find ground zero, as roostaman and my self where being watched. The heat was nearly killing us so we desided to exit, will have to come back at a later date. Unfortunetly roostaman got bitten by first a bull ant, and then a wasp. Think this cache has it in for him
Another fredness cache (fredness: evil trickery which can cause a brain melt down)

Had an adventure with the Hinklenator today and almost got there.
Had to call for help while at WP1 and then found it where we were anyway.
At WP2 we had more trouble, I got stung by a wasp & then we were watched by a nearby muggle,
so we decided to give it a rest until a later & much cooler time of day.

A replacement cache has been placed in a new location, hopefully a bit more muggleproof this time. Happy hunting.
There is still construction activity near GZ. Hope to be able to replace this cache soon.
Have been out of town for the weekend. While travelling on Friday evening I received a phone call to tell me that GZ had been muggled. On arrival back in town I checked and found that the cache is missing. My apologies to any searchers who went looking on the weekend. Hope to have it back on line soon.
