GeoSon thought he'd be the hero and aim for the biggest rocks available, entertaining to say the least. Then we checked the GPS and decided to head to GZ, although a little disconcerting due to the proximity of houses, however noticed it slightly exposed, nabbed it, signed log and returned better hidden than we found it. TFTC. Last for the afternoon, time to get back to Geobase and Geowife.
Walked in from our accommodation. Didn't bring the kids but met one who lives in the house and says he's your friend. I was blocking his way to get in with his bike. Thanks for the cache.
Tftc easy little find and our third for the day. Geokid took something and left something
Very close to houses - love the geokid idea great for us took a mighty bean and left two little things
Night time geocaching with Dad. Left some toys (mighty bean, silly band & a coin) and swapped for a yo-yo. TFTC!
very easy find, not so easy finding the right parking area without a street view GPS though tftc, didn't swap or leave anything.

Geohubby grew up in this area and was surprised to find one here! He said its a good find!
An impromptu night time caching expedition was undertaken with Allrounder and hccatcher11415. We decided to hit the south side of town for a change of scenery, collecting the trads that came across our path. We were prepared for some swaps here, the big kid (FurfacesLL No 2) checked out the loot while Allrounder signed the log. TNLN TFTC
9th find for the night and 4th after picking up furfacesLL for a few hours of night caching with them and allrounder. A quick find.

Quick find, almost on private property. Nice to meet you, CO, Mrs Jmaniezza - who noticed our approach from the window.
This was easy but felt like we were invading someone's yard. Lots of spider webs on container lid but didn't meet the spider!
YAY!!! Found my first cache. I was amazed that my HTC Explorer got me within 0.5m of it. This is SO much fun!
Easy to find. Wonder what will happen to it if the fence its sitting close to gets rebuilt. Its about to fall
down:-)
down:-)
Found quite easily, although was concerned we were getting close to someone's property!
Found it and was caught by the person who planted it. Didn't get her name but had a chat and said hi.
Puddle twinnies took a couple of little toys....well stole may be a better word since they bolted once they'd grabbed them. Not looking forward to explaining the whole 'geo-share' concept.

Well with Geo_son Snr excited to find another treasure for the day we decided to head to this one and see if he would like to swap some things.
We arrived at the recommended street and hoped out of the car. A short walk behind the houses I was navigating to the cache using my iPhone. For some reason every time I use it around power lines I have a real hard time zeroing in on GZ. They really must interfere with reception. Almost resorting getting out the Garmin I looked at the maps and through my Geocaching experience my eyes ended up finding GZ and the cache.
At one point I think that i remarked to myself "gee there are some pretty horrible smells around here, like dog poo" I was eager for the cache to be signed and swaps performed. After all of that Geo_son Snr did not want to swap but the log is now signed. Walking back to the car the smell continued to follow me. This prompted me to check my shoes, relieved nothing was there.... then I checked Geo_son Snrs shoe..... Damn!!! I guess when I get home I will have to wash his shoes.

second find for night with visiting geokids - thus was a quick find with head torches - TFTC took marble left coin
633. Didnt quite get the excitement of the previous finder, but a nice stroll none the less. TFTC.
This was our very first find - nice and close to home. The kids were so excited to go on a treasure hunt, and I couldn't wipe the smiles of their faces once we'd found it. Can see that this is going to become a favourite family activity.
Thanks

The tenth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland was marked by the best weather for caching. No rain, not even a chance of rain, some clouds but plenty of blue sky and a very light breeze which did not have a hint of the bitter cold of previous days. We started the day tracking down the cache for the Hobart to Canberra Great Aussie Icon Hunt and then we spent the rest of the day in the Tuggeranong area, some of the time in the hills. We had a great days caching.
We enjoyed the walking along the flatter terrain after going up and down hills for most of the morning. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. We did wonder if the cache was located at the cache owners back gate. TFTC Jmanjezza.

We were out for a few cache after looking after the grand kids for the day. Quick and easy. TFTC Cheers
Not only found the cache on this beautiful morn in our nations capital, but guarding it was a baby blue tongue lizard!
Made for a quick grab, Log duties done now its off again, Great day out caching with J+J.au. TFTC
Great idea, but I would probably think the cache needs to be a little bigger. I have a swag of swaps that I could have put in, but there was no more room.
Without reading prior logs I had a feeling that was a staged cache hoping to catch a few cachers in the act, but PyroFuzion and myself used ninja stealth tactics to retrieve, log and return the cache without being spotted.

Still testing out my new GPS. With paperless caching I managed to do 10 in 2.5 hours with no prior preparation - I've never done that before. TFTC.
Nice find for GeoTeens. Also met Mrs jmanjezza and one of their GeoKids.
Made swap. TFTC

#131. Disrupted a few snails from their home on the cache. Signed log. TNLN. TFTC Nice blue day, out with geodog.
Found on a days caching run with The Rats in the southern suburbs of Canberra.
No problems with the cache- just hope the neighbours aren't too worried! Got the clue but not sure how that relates to another cache. Thanks!

This was one of a few caches that Steeba and I managed to grab on days caching around Canberra.
Another one of our early morning finds. Got the bonus clue. Thanks

Another grandkids football game in the wilds so is there a cache nearby--yes--no swaps with me, no spiders at GZ either, GPS giving varying readings, used the clue thanks.
Nice easy cache we still had a bit of sunlight left so we quickly pressed on. Also took the Lord of the Cachers Ring for protection and will move it on. TFTC
A cool cache, easy to get to - no kids today, taking out the new beast (it's bronze, trackable, 4wd and totally awesome) and you cant miss us, we are having a romantic caching spree that ended at a pancake kitchen - yum, 26 for 6 hours work, hmm not bad - a big thankyou for the canberra to cooma run also, that inspired us to come south, we didnt make it to cooma as the kids needed picking up and we wanted dinner, 1000 in our first year aint gonna happen but lets see if we can make the birthday event number 1000 - or the oldest cach, decisions decisions lol. You'll see the main body here repeated as thats the days story. So on that note Thanks For The Cache from your friendly caching team the puddle jumpers (by the way - the kids jump in them, we jump over them).
Ok, so I was basically led to this one, but neat little cache. Nice one for the kids. Thanks Jmanjezza!
A quick find, and happily I was able to avoid the grass seeds by walking up the drain !
Thanks for the cache, Jmanjezza !
Thanks for the cache, Jmanjezza !
A good cache for kids. No muggles out in their back yards on a cooler Sunday afternoon. Didn't notice the trackable that is shown as being there. TFTC
It was a very easy find. The clue really helped. If we ever move near a grassland, I've got an evil idea. Took marble in exchange for a car. TFTC.
Second cache for the day with geo-kid and geo-wife in tow. Left the First American Geocoin (2006) behind. The sun poked its way through the fog while we were here and what a great feeling being in the sunshine on a cold frosty morn.
Found on a caching run around the southern suburbs. I gather the neigbourly muggles know about geocaching now!
T: Puzzle keyring.

A nice easy find. Afterwards walked to nearby Marble Exchange cache. Thanks.
Reperio at 1715. Was nearly going to park on the main road but opted to park nearer the houses and walk back to GZ, Once there, the very obvious spot soon presented itself.
Gratias.

Located this one quite quickly. Geokid made a swap, we placed some extra goodies in there for future geokids, TFTC!
Started looking in the wrong location, but process of elimination (and checking the GPS) helps. TFTC
Walked here with fraggle_rock and Wasptor. loved swapping and put extras swaps in for future kiddy cachers. TFTC!
TNLN, 2nd last on a day of 7 around tuggers hill, gee when I started caching there was only 2 around here! TFTC
Found with Moneydork, Rediguana, Tofska, and Pohutukawa on our road trip to the Wagga Mega event.
