Really tried hard with this one- crawling around the undergrowth in the rain. Lots of evidence of recent visitors, lots of empty beer bottles, but no luck finding it. Is it still there? or has one of the beer-bottle leaving types found and destroyed?
As the other two said there's nothing. We looked for around 15 mins to no avail. Please check if cache is still there.
No sign of it. Obvious areas where people have walked and flattened the grass etc but no cache to be found.
A friend of mine, living in Dunedin, took me around the city today and showed me all the nice spots. Stopped here and found this cache!
Tftc and greets from Germany!

Dropped the Sand and Sea TB48TC0 travel bug into the cache so it could enjoy some South Island Surf.
It was a warm winters day (17 degrees) so I grabbed the oldies and we went for a walk and even better we just happened to walk to this cache site! We did get busted walking out of the bushes, I reckon the people in the car that saw us are still wondering what we were up to! Cheers for the cache us04.

A return visit to this cache site and a successful one at that. Just be careful if you drive to Lawyers Head as the road now closes at 3pm.
Found during fozzmiester's South Island adventure. Great fun was had with clever hides and stunning locations encountered along the way. Many thanks to the owners of all the caches found and the enjoyment which you provided.
A nice quick find while out and about early this morning. TFTC

Been up here so many times with dog for a walk and raced straight past it.... we all did look a little odd in the bushes with the poor dog keeping guard!! took trackable and logged straightaway
A nice day for a wander along John Wilson Drive to pick up a couple of caches and this was one of them. A short detour near the end and cache was soon in hand. Left TB. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
A few people out and about walking, some with dogs, and others on bikes - luckily no one about when we dived off the road and into the bushes. A family on bikes seemed a little surprised when we popped back out again. Found with debsnz
Traveling through New Zealand in February with the Campervan we visited your Cache.

6 of 12 today. Enjoyed the walk to this one, quite a few people out walking today too. A quick dash and grab. TFTC
Third time lucky! Muggled the first time; got too dark to see the second time. Dog appreciated the John Wilson Drive walk each time TFTC
Got close to this one and the GPSr signaled "Low Battery" - the spares were in the car a kilometre away and I knew I had only a few minutes. A quick sprint, a hurried search and the cache was found with very little time to spare. Signed log, TFTC and the view from here is well worth while.
Out for my morning walk and decided to go up John Wilson Drive today. Ooh there is a cache at the end of there, so grabbed my sons GPS and was off, hoping it would be not too hard because I only had a size and GPS co-ords. Lovely morning, warm and refreshing. Went all the way to the lookout and the GPS then told me it was back where I had come from. Beautiful view from up there. Walked back down and GPS pointed into the bush a little, in I went - too far turned around and bingo - there it is. TFTC us04, another great cache from you.
Found with Buzzybe. Was a warm but windy day with many muggles out for a sunday walk. Lucky for us most of them didn't walk all they way to the end
Found on Leftover Day- a caching run dedicated to having another stab at the DNFs, doing those mysteriosly left out, doing the new caches added during the Mega.
This was a DNF, but the hordes of caches trampling down the grass made this an easy find this time.

Day 5 on our 6 day caching trip to Dunedin for the NZ MEGA 2012 event with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ozibags, ghostgums and MrMeccano. Once again we hit the road reasonably early with a plan. The day started off spent around Saint Clair, St Kilda, South Dunedin, Kensington, Mosgiel, and Caversham.
Sorry about the bulk log but I am never going to catch up at this rate.
TFTC, us04!

Managed to get to the end of the trail and after a quick search the cache was in the groups hands for the obligatory signing!

Having walked 2/3 of the way to this spot along the road, we figured we would make the pilgrimage to the end. It seemed only fair and hey, there was a cache to be found...
We only had to content with a couple of muggles and their dogs when we got to GZ and once the coast was clear, we dived in for the hunt and Ghostgums quickly located the exposed container.
Log out and a sticker added, the cache was tucked away and some camo added to keep it safe. [^]
Found in the company of fellow Queensland hunters Kaisho53, OziBags, TheFourBees, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano.
Cheers us04.

Caching with Ghostgums, Mr Meccano, Gunnie69, kaisho53 and fourbees while attending the NZ Mega. Took a short cut through the nearby golf course for this and a few other caches along the road. Some photos taken then back across the golf course - giving way to golfers of course TFTC us04.
A bit of a rummage around the place for a while, seems some shortcuts are quicker than others eh TG? Out on a MEGA caching run with Karma Reprint and Team Gators. TNLN Thanks
A days caching at the 2012 Dunedin Mega, with the Lincoln lads, Kiwi Moose and Team Gaters Thanks for the hide.

In town for the NZ Mega 2012. Spent today on a caching run with Karma Reprint and Kiwi_moose.
Not quite where we were expecting it to be but we soon cornered the wee blighter. Cheers. A great spot; bit windy wot, but all good as it kept the muggles away.

found it over the long weekend of the mega event here in dunedin with fellow cacher mates. nice cache found after a good hunt in the gloom as the light was fading fast by a mini cacher - TFTC
Took a while to find as it was just getting dark. Lovely walk along the beach on the way here with 3 dogs and 4 children. Tftc
This one took BaldEd and I bit to find but we managed it in the end.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Took Tufty and I quite a few minutes to find this 'hidden in plain view' cache. Doh!
A fantastic but very bracing walk up to the cache this morning to start off my day (and walk off some of the chocolate donut I had eaten!). Got to GZ and my GPS settled immediately on a likely area, but I couldn't find the cache. Was about to give up and leave and on my way out there it was - as plain as could be - how did I miss it! Left a pathtag and then headed up to the VERY windy lookout - amazingly a golfer was teeing off in this! TFTC.
1st visit was unsucessful, 2nd visit I poked myself in my eye with a naughty branch 3rd visit I took Dayna and she said just let ur gps settle and see where it takes you.
Yay found, signed and no muggles on a beautiful Friday afternoon stroll with miss 10. TFTC

Out on a reconnaisance walk this morning and decided to keep walking in spite of the lovely freezing wind (I can feel the pneumonia trying to get hold now). Really quiet so early, but funnily a runner appeared when I was emerging from the bushes and she probably thought the wind got the better of me and I had to go... [;I] TFTC
We took the shorter route to this one and went through the golf course and found it quickly before heading off to 'I for Incline'. TFTC
Approached from the Tomahawk end. Nice walk and a straight forward search quickly rewarded with a find.
A long run this morning collecting caches on the way. A beautiful sunny morning on the RWC opening day!! TFTC
Went had a look for ages will look tomorrow depending on weather darn snow storm is on the way. I plan to go back to Cromwell on Monday.
Over from England, lovely walk on a beautiful day. A good cache found without much difficulty. Thank you.
Easy find while on my bike, Wasn't that well hidden so put some grass on top of it
Took a look while out on a run, area nice and quiet now no cas go up there.
Easy find, coords spot on for me.
Left a pen refill, whole pen wouldn't fit, as no pencil in cache.
Pencil sharpener still there though..

Finally checked this one off! About my third visit there. Along with Geogeek2, and M&R, on their first day in NZ, after a trip from the US! We stumbled on this cache quickly, seemed easy this time around.
We just arrived today for our first visit in New Zealand and what better way to spend the first day than a nice walk and a gorgeous view and a geocache at the end of the walk. We set out with a team of four and geogeek2 made a quick find of the cache.

Found it very easily this time with the help of macgyver08 and M&R - I can't believe it took me four visits to find it!
me and the boy looked under over inside outside through and everywhere,, not sure on size of cach and the hiding seams to be random,, will go back again and look but i did not find it, My gps was showing accuracy of 4 m so we scanned everywhere just incase...
Not sure what the initals stand for,but found it quickly enough.Awsome views up here.TFTC
Beautiful day for a long walk to the cache after lunch at St Clair. My first time coming along here since it was closed to traffic. I know the closure's been controversial, but it was really great meandering along the road without any cars around. Will definitely return soon. TFTC
Glad to log this time after not finding on a very hot day a couple of weeks ago. TFTC
Found this one very very quickly - was surprised after a few logs reported that it was a difficult find and some people didn't find it on the first attempt!
Was a great day for a walk along here - a tad windy, but this stopped it from being too hot!! We really do have a beautiful city!!

It took us almost 10 minutes to find this cache, in its rather nondescript hiding place, despite the coordinates being accurate. TFTC

A good nighttime walk across the golf course and into the dunes. Took quite a bit of hunting to find this one as there appeared to be no logic as to where it was hidden Cheers Gav [6804]
An interesting night time stroll - had to go through the golf course to access the cache.
Like others, it was a 15 minute find. The holiday maker started to complain a bit.
- nothing
+ McD's toy dog.
Log was damp.

Glad to get this one off the 'to do' list. Guwapo was off for a bike ride. So Papa got dropped off at the crematorium carpark and headed for ground zero - as no one had found it since his last visit there was not a lot of confidence - maybe the new GPSr would help. Took about 15 min but then saw the cache container. While glad to get this off the list I really enjoyed the hunt for this - these are much better than the proliferation of urban magentic eclipse containers that seem to be trendy!! After the find it was off to the dinasour park and some playtime with Guwapo!!
I continue to be amazed by the quick and easy find logs for this cache. Took Guwapo for another ride on his bike along the drive. Three of us ended up looking all over the GZ area to no avail. We'll be back.
