Me and my brother ( Prince Caspian) were out walking with my Grandy's walking group along this beach. I thought that this cave belonged in Minecraft, because everything is square. I had a bit of help to find this, but I signed the cache and put it back as I found it. Thanks!
Cache replaced. Now a black 200ml screwtop. Placed right at the back of the crevice, arms length, with rocks in front.
thinking it may not be there... not sure. found a fantastic little nook around knee height inside the left of the middle entrance.... no cashe, hmmm
Lots of climbers today - but too preoccupied with climbing to worry about me exploring the old sea caves
Checked while having morning tea at the caves. all good, but exposed - found a couple of rocks and put them in place to conceal the cache. Picked up Little Blue Lamb [https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=59561e9f-b195-4a29-b324-ba26c850845b](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=59561e9f-b195-4a29-b324-ba26c850845b)
On the way back from Cave Beach I called by to grab this cache. This is a really neat place, the rocks do look they have been built rather than natural. Lots of little places to explore here but fortunately picked the right one to have a look around and then noticed the cache hiding place. Left a TB that we have had for a long while. TFTC
Impressive blocks, and rocks, we had fun exploring these rocks, the formation was impressive. Both container and logbook were in good condition. The area was really quiet. thanks for placing and maintaining this cache!
Found it! Came out to Long Beach with Mrs Joopy and watched the sunrise before going for a quick wander to log thus one.
Cache is in good nick and the contents are nice and dry. tftc

Came out here to check out Cave Beach (and get the cache there) and had Long Beach to myself. After getting that cache I got back to see 4 other people walking along the beach! Must have been rush hour! They were far enough away for me to easily hunt for this one which didn’t take too long to find. Tftc
A beautiful morning and what better way to celebrate Otago Anniversary day but with a geocaching adventure at Long Beach!
We got within 12m of final but rick climbing muggles got on our way. Will have to Co.e back but in the meantime we did enjoy the fascinating natural structures.
Find count: 2195

Haven’t been to this cave since I was a student! Attended a birthday party here once. Thanks for the cache and all the memories that came with it.
Lovely walk along the beach popping seaweed. Quick and easy find. Wish I had climbing gear!
Nice caves. There was a muggle inside peering around. I asked if he was looking for something. Not a cacher but knew of them. Had a chat as I found it and picked up a trackable.
No sign of penguins here unless they put metal pins in the rocks for climbing. Found with mr c on our travels from the UK thank you.
Found with MrsC on our NZ travels from the UK. A day out from Dunedin, quick find, thanks. What a great cave!
Thanks to Daywalk for the replacement cache and checking out the penguin situation!
Have replaced this cache with a small clear container in its original hide spot. Several loose rocks in front to completely hide it from sight.
There is no sign of penguins having been in this cave. Lots of chalk from climbers, though, as usual.
There are probably penguins sheltering in crevices at the back of the large (party) cave. We saw a lot of penguin footprints in the large cave. So please keep your dog on a lead at all times!

There is no sign of penguins using the hide cave. Lots of climbing chalk as usual!

This cache was in a PENGUINS NEST! I have removed it. If you want it back please contact me. DO NOT leave caches in these caves as it attracts humans in to penguin caves!!!
Had a looksie on Monday. Pretty sure I found the spot based on the hint but no sign of cache unfortunately
So much fun exploring the caves, these are crazy! We had a little scramble around and have definitely been inspired to give rock climbing a go. Thanks for bringing us here!!
Love the blocks!! A number of rock climbers here today but they weren’t taking any notice of us. No TB. TFTC
Thanks. Amazing rocks. Thanks for bringing me along here. A lovely autumn day for a run along the beach. Amazing where some people climb. Would like to be here when there were people climbing.
Picnic lunch on the beach and a short walk to pick up some caches along this stretch. TFTC
#3972 Saw some climbers there, but they had another work than watching me.Thanks for the cache, greetings from Czech Republic.
Came for the trackable, bit disappointing that it's missing but cool spot to visit anyway TFTC!
My second beach visited for the day. Why didn't I ever come here when I lived in Dunedin? It was a lovely day to go for a stroll. The caves were neat and an ideal location for a cache. It seems a few muggles have discovered the cache in the past so it was rather exposed. I hid it in the hint location so that hopefully it won't get muggled again. Tftc.
Out exploring Long Beach with BCD and this was our first find for the day. Still lovely and warm even with a bit of fog around but it had cleared when we returned to the carpark and then had lunch down by the Reserve. TFTC
Out on a dunnas beach mission with kjr . nice walk along the beach for quick find dropped off tb tftc
Out with an attenuated Wednesday Walking group. Grabbed this one on the way in, in case we came back a different way. Easy find in a very interesting place.

out on a geoadventure with team_macdonald to score the cache around the corner and that we did.... nice place for a cache and it certainly smells like someone has lit a fire in these caves TFTC
Headed for a trip down this way today and with a few dts saved up was worth it. Bypassed this one on the way to cave beach so just had to grab it tftf found with rayzr2 on a beautiful day
Thought we'd get this one on the way back from Cave Beach. Definitely been a lot of muggle activity recently, and even some muggle "logs" in the cache. My favourite is the one that says "Thought this was someone's weed stash"! (bet they were disappointed). Thanks for placing this.
Catching up on some logging ... found this one on a beach walk in one of my favourite parts of the world.
Thanks for the hide Paz&Co

After a long beachwalk on the Doctors Point beach, Hevic and I turned our attention to Long Beach. A DNF at one cache wasn't enough to sink my spirits, and I found the cache within seconds of arriving at GZ. Seems this is a popular spot - so many people, cachers or no, have visited this spot - to the point where at least six non-cachers found this cache since March. Thank goodness they've all been respectful of the cache and the area. Cheers!
When reading the description I was wondering how could this cache survive for so long without been muggled considering how many people visit these caves over the course of a year. the hiding spot was quickly found and it was obvious why it has lasted. I made sure that it was tucked away.
After visiting mount Cargill we came out to take a walk along long beach. We started looking for the cache and then got distracted watching the rock climbers. Eventually we finished looking and signed the book.

Lovely walk along the beach with family and dog. Had to be careful not to wake the muggles asleep in the cave but managed to find it without their knowledge
During our South Island roadtrip shinichi87 and I could find this one easily, while we spend some time in Long Beach. TFTC
