Logs
Found on a very busy Sunday as part of the siren seekers group. TFTC Lilysu&Boxer
Headed out for a days caching, this stared with a CITO and continued on to the Siren of the Sea with a team of other geocachers with the aim to conquer this and other caches around. All caches signed S.S. TFTC
Spending the day on the Yorke Peninsula. Started the day with a CITO then headed of the complete the Siren series trail and finding a few others along the way with a group of other Cachers. Logs signed as Siren Seekers or SS Perfect weather for a day of caching. TFTC
Yesterday I headed over to the Yorke Peninsula to find some caches of interest, mostly published since my last visit. After getting as far south as Pondolowie Bay in the Innes National Park, I headed north again and ended up at the event in the pub at Moonta for dinner before camping nearby. This morning it was off to the early CITO event at Paskerville, then I teamed up with FeatherWaite to complete the Big Question geoart puzzle series.Afterwards we went our separate ways and I headed back towards Adelaide in a round-a-bout way, chasing some more caches of interest and making the most of the good weather. All of the caches were found without any trouble and all were in good condition.I ended up not going all the way home, staying away for another night and camping at Hamley Bridge. Thanks Lilysu&Boxer for the cache.
Found on a day travelling the back roads, taking in a little bit of sunshine and dust. TFTC
Found it! After expanding the search slightly the cache was found about 8m from GZ. A nice peaceful spot, with no-one around today. TFTC!
Day trip to Ninnes to some of the Sad Fisher series, as well as doing other caches in the area. All caches in good condition unless mention in log. TFTCWell looked after area with Tennis Club still seems to be operating.
my favourite type of container. quick find.
Found with Mogni. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. So we went out to complete the " THE Sad Fisher series " and stay in Moonta for the night. We got 150 finds for the weekend even though we started out at lunch time Saturday. Any damaged caches found where replaced with a new container and any logs found full or almost full were replaced or a extra scroll added. The weather couldn't make up it's mind, over 30 on Saturday and it rained almost all of the way home.

I am trying to hit a major milestone in April and this weekend was my chance to get closer to my goal. Sir_spectre generously helped me find 150 caches and all caches were replaced better than found.

Out caching on a wet day with uni and Medusa and southern cross caching.
The original plan was to head towards Swan Reach but the weather changed that and we went to Yorkes instead where it was dryer.

Out caching on a very wet day with shonky logic and Uni & Medusa.
We originally planed to start the On your Bike series but as we got closer the rain got much heavier so decided to do a quick plan change and head away from the rain band and over to the top of the YP and start the Sad Fisherman series instead, along with anything else we passed along the journey when it wasn't raining.
All caches found were in good order.

Our plan was to make a start on the On Your Bike series, but it was way too wet, so we headed across to Yorke Peninsula where it looked a bit less rainy

Quick find here today on my way past, cache and contents are all good
Today I headed up to the copper coast for a day out to find a few caches yet to be found plus the new onslaught of puzzles up here. Managed to dodge the rain that was forecast and come away with just over 50 finds.

Thanks Lilysu&Boxer for this cache. I needed to look a little further west to find this one. There were people playing tennis on the courts as I drove by. If it wasn't for them, there would be a new GSM in this vicinity. Cache in great condition, thanks for the generous hide.
The hunt continues with ilook4geo. It was time to pay some attention to the Sad Fisher as well as some traditional caches along the way. Each cache was in good order and all the logs were dry with plenty of room for more signatures. All the caches were easy enough to find and were put back as found before we moved on. This was one of the traditionals we found. Thanks go to Lilysu&Boxer for adding this cache to the caching scene.
Happy to go fishing and hoping for a good caching haul today along with goingplaces2. No problems in finding each one. Log was signed and replaced. Job done. TFTC.
On our way to continue The Sad Fisher series we stopped to look for this cache. One of us started at one end and the other at the other. Mr Y'stassie spotted the container first. His GPS indicated he was 8m from GZ. The large container is beautifully camoflaged and blends in very well with the low growing foliage.
Thanks for this cache Lilysu&Boxer. We always enjoy finding good sized containers. This church is a solidly built structure and it is good that it is being used by the community now its years as a centre of worship are over. All was quiet on the courts today,

Today, the objective was *The Sad Fisher* series on the top of Yorke Peninsula. I first had a few hours to do some solo geocaching, visiting Port Arthur, Clinton and a few other points of interest on the top of Yorke Peninsula's hills. I then caught up with AnyMules, Trigger_Fish, and hevwalker, and we then spent the next 3.5 hr trying to keep motivation whilst power trailling the Sad Fisher. We then headed to Kadina for a late lunch and a few geocache visits, and then on to Wallaroo and nearby North Beach. As it got dark, we headed south-west for some 4WD along some beach tracks, and then back towards Kadina for a fast dinner. Willamulka was our final destination of the day (at least while I was with the group), before I returned back to my car at Kulpara, and made the late night drive home.
This geocache was found whilst we were finding the nearby *The Sad Fisher* geoart series. A nice looking church nearby. We did need a short hunt around the bushes and scrub for this cache, but when we approached from the right angle, it was an obvious find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. There was a TB in this cache that I had initially missed in my container look, but at least I managed to discover it once AnyMules grabbed it. Thanks Lilysu&Boxer for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Well there you go, certainly a bit more Methodist History. Thanks Lilysu&Boxer.
What a fun day out! Today, CPWanderer, erine14, alysse14 and myself piled into my car for a nearly 11 hour adventure. The aim was to complete the new 90 cache “The Sad Fisher” geo-art trail…..yet CP and I knew that Erin and Alysse had never reached 100 caches found in any one day, so we decided to incorporate several other caches to create a new caching milestone for them both.
We laughed and chatted, and even considered placing some cheeky caches out in this area ourselves (you had to be there LOL). Despite the light showers at times, the sun certainly peaked out from behind the clouds a number of times.
Sincere thanks to the geocachers who have placed caches, it certainly added to our enjoyment.

Today was an excellent day out with Goodlook, CP Wanderer and Erine14. We set out with the aim to complete the Sad Fisher series, and find a few extra caches in the area. We were lucky the rain stayed away for most of the day, and only had a few light sprinkles. All caches were found in good condition, with excellent coordinates unless noted otherwise. I really enjoyed the series, and the other caches we found today.
The roads were all in good condition too. Somewhere along the way Erine14 and I both found our 1800th caches, and it was our first day finding 100+ caches! Thanks for the cache!

Returning for a shortish stint back home in the Adelaide Hills after an extended visit to Wool Bay for the last few months, I decided to make a day of geocaching to clear the map on the northern Yorke Peninsula, from Paskeville to Lochiel, and including a circuit of Lake Bumbunga. I really like these nice sturdy cache containers, nicely constructed, waterproof and built to last! Thanks for the cache Lilysu&Boxer!
Found on a drive with Purrfect Di, Sebastbat, and Jack the Monkey.
Always love a bit of history.
My great great grandmother was responsible for building the first methodist church south of the Murray.

An Adder, Rat and a Starfish up north for a cold and very windy day of caching to get a few more unfound off our lists. Another quaint little building that has been abandoned by the Catholic church but good that it has found a new use rather than being left to go to ruin. An easy find and safe and sound. TFTC

Camped at Paskeville bowling club, and ventured to pick up a few caches in the area.
A pleasant drive in the country and we enjoyed the scenery.
We picked up a good variety of caches, some a little trickier to find than others.
Very hot and humid today, so we headed back to the caravan early.

On arriving at GZ we commented that this certainly does look like a typical Methodist church. In a way, it's a shame it's not still used for its original purpose, however, at least it IS getting used and looked after. Thanks for bringing us to this interesting little spot & for the cache.
We were expecting to read about Methodist history and were surprised to find it was all about the tennis! Interesting place, thanks for bringing us here.

I find the history of the Protestant churches in Australia quite different from that of their counterparts in the US. The history starts almost exactly the same, but the evolution after landing in Australia is very different up to current times. I like that the settlers of these communities are remembered and their stories are told. Thanks Lilysu&Boxer
