Logs
Found today and all is well with the case despite being a little bit damp thank you to the scouts for leaving a commemorative patch. My son is going to love this.
Almost ready to give up and we found it. Hint is not true and cache is not a linchbox. It's a cylindrical tube about 6 inches and not quite as round as a tennis ball. It's only 2-3m from the path into the bush at BOT. Logsheet is damp.
Good spot, took the wrong path and the harder way to, water inside but the logbook was still able to be signed
I just realised that my logging is a little outdated considering I found this one over 6 weeks ago. I needed to get my car looked at and of course they wanted it for hours or the whole day. So, Chamad to the rescue who collected LittleMrTT and myself and we spent the day collecting a few caches. It was a HOT day. We didn't get as many as we would have liked as we were melting like ice-cream.. Took a while but found it in the obvious spot.
Out today to continue with my personal challenges and do some caches with Triple Turmoil. Very convenient today as she had her booked in for a service in Caboolture area. We loaded the bikes and a plan was set for a fun day. Things started out ok but then our second venture was a little blocked off, so we had to make different plans. It seems that the people really like the caches in Caboolture, no they really like them so much they regularly go missing. Today I had as many DNFs as finds. Of the caches we found we signed the logs and returned as found or with a little camo. This was a nice walk all the trails. It was nice to again finally grab a cache as the recent dnfs and no access issues in the area. Thanks for the hide and keeping it going along.
After the anniversary event today we have continued caching in the area.
Came to this cache after getting sidetracked by another one.
At gz found in the first place we looked. Log signed cache returned.

Staying overnight in the area and after attending a geocaching birthday event, we came by here to look for this cache. Found in the first place we looked, guided by the hint provided, of course!

4:29pm 03/06/2023 our first find of the day. And our 18th find total. Thankyou for the cache. The log is mouldy and moist. There is an amazing 35 year scout badge in there
Questing4 I found your cache School or Scouts on 3/12/2022, 9:55 am. This is my find 4501 and find # 6 today. Thanks for digging this cache. Returned this time for a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
This was the second time we have been to GZ to look for the cache. We got rained out the first time and made a hasty retreat back to the car. This time with the help of the recent finders log I soon spotted the well hidden container. Thanks KaiteyE2016 for your ground work here. I could not see the last finders name logged on the 23/11/2022 on the log sheet. Thanks Questing4 for the cache.
Found this after some DEEP digging. It was very damp and water logged so gave it a dry out and added a little something to it for the next person find #8 for the day. TFTC
Wish I had checked out the previous logs before heading here. Another DNF. Please check on this cache.
Questing4 I didn’t find your cache School or Scouts on 14/9/2022, 11:16 am. Looked all around but nothing found. Found the location in the photos but a search revealed nothing.
After finding a cache on the other side of this park, we drove around for better access as were not sure if we would be able to cross the creek from where we were. Ended up in a suburban street with a laneway to the bush and enjoyed a nice stroll around the tracks in between the school and scouts. We looked up most of the time, but did not spot a koala today.
We headed off the track when close to gz, examining various remnants of logs but it wasn't until I was almost back at the track when I spotted the cache in plain sight, although hidden from the track luckily. Not sure if you'd call its current hide a log but it is tree related.
The log was wet but managed to sign it nonetheless.

Have been looking for this cache for a few months now, but large spider webs and risk of snakes has kept me on the trail, today being cooler, and armed with a natural web wiper, I ventured into th GZ, where your cache was located, it had a lot of water inside, but log sheet was OK to sign my name. Thanks Questing4, water drained and cache replaced so water cannot enter
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while caching in the area thanks for the cache
As a local to the area I had no idea there were paths behind the scout den. It’s good to get out and get to know the area better. Nayfee helped since I’m new to geocaching. The cache was quickly found, signed and placed back where it was found.

This one seemed to be mia. We searched for ages. Went over previous logs and photos. Yep, we were in the right spot, so we left a brand new cache and signed the log appropriately. Tftc that was not there. Lol
We were here for ages.
A spoiler photo confirmed where we were, there was nothing there.
So we added a new one, complete with swag an' logbook an' such.
We apologise if this was overreaching, but it most certainly was required.
Thanks for taking us here !

I’ve grabbed most caches in the area but one, this one, so after grabbing a cache for a puzzle nearby I decided to swoop in and look for this one. The cache was quickly spotted, signed and replaced as found.
Contents in one bag is saturated, but luckily a replacement log and baggy are provided.

Lovely walk to GZ for this one and a quick find once there. Log needs replacing and jodsta83 had a bag and few sheets of paper to get this one by for a little longer. TFTC!
After an exhausting week at work due to the end/beginning of the financial year, I was chomping at the bit to get outside today into some fresh air and hunt down a few caches. Couldn't have picked a better day for it, it was certainly Goldilocks weather - not too hot and not too cold, even with the wind blowing. Although the main reason for my trip over this side of town was a bust, I did pick up quite a few others including this one.
As is my usual geocaching luck, I ignored my first instinct to follow the track which I spotted after leaving my car, instead choosing a bash through the scrub, only to reach said track a few meters from GZ. The cache was quickly spotted in a likely spot but the contents were absolutely soaked and the logbook unsignable. Took a photo of the cache (and resident guardian) to prove my visit. Replaced the cache in the same location but in a spot less likely to fill with runoff from the next rain storm. TFTC

Found with JaffaJ, CachingPikachu and TheGeoSnake. We are a scouting family so it was fun to see another scout den. Family laughed at me because I was distracted and failed to read the full description - a short bush bash quickly revealed a much easier path to the location!!
Found with Maggs2005, CachingPikachu and JaffaJ after a dinner at Sizzler and a look at the Scout den. I unfortunately assumed Maggs2005 had read the description and we ended up bush bashing to the GZ instead of taking the easy way along the path. TFTC!
I finished work early today and after a bike ride with my muggle friend I decided to go for a ride here and gather some smileys. This was my third find out of ten today and i spotted a likely hiding spot and yes there it was. Thanks for taking me to this beautiful bike track and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Got it. Hint was not helpful at all , gps was out possibly because of trees, but looking around at possible hidey hos we found it. Signed the moldy log. Really needs some tlc
We picked up the dingo travel bug.
And a clue for the mystery at the museum.

Hint is more of a decoy....broaden area & obvious hidey soon found. Log dry but smells mouldy. Anyway, TFTC
The hint no longer applies. I had to visit this cache because I had a trackable dingo to drop off. Here's another request for the CO to put in a new logbook in a new plastic bag. The current log is black with mold and the scrap of paper is damp. Thanks for the cache placement.
This cache could benefit from a little TLC from the CO. The log is soaked and needs replacing please.
Thanks for the cache. Was worried as has been a fire through here recently. Cache is still safe although quite wet
Wandered in circles for a while. The hint had us looking in the wrong spots.

This is a really pretty walk. The log is wet and the cache needs some TLC. Tftc.

The awesomeness of today was scoring an unexpected day off work, which without doubt had to be used to my caching advantage. I decided to head to this area to clear out a few more caches.
Parking the car, I crossed the road near the scout den, and made my way down. Apparently not the easy way, as the PATH was on the other side of the bushland of course. Oh well, a short bushbash through soon got me to the path near GZ, where I wandered over to make a quick find. Had to excuse myself when interrupting the peace of an 8 legged cache guardian. The contents are rather wet, and I had to sign the paper someone has kindly left, as the logbook has pretty much turned black from the damp.
Thanks for the cache Questing4.

Not sure that the clue is valid any more. It wasn't found in a log. Put in a new piece of paper and bag as the log was unfortunately sopping wet.
It's another Thursday so that means another day caching with my geobuddy bb. We're out in the wilds of Caboolture today, no particular targets, just seeing where the day takes us
bb had found this one a LONG time ago, but she was happy to walk with me to search for the cache. It was a nice easy find, but the log book has now gone past being wet to slimy. Ewwwwwwwww [xx(] A new log book would be lovely TFTC Questing4

Easy find on my way to an Event. Sadly the cache was full of water and log book was saturated but there was a little baggy with a piece of paper containing some signatures so I added mine to that. TFTC
Driving past today so thought it about time I had a look for this one. Nice walk in the bush. tftc
Quick find as we selected some caches on the northside to help with some challenges, hopefully we'll be able to find some more in Moarayfield in the holidays, thanks Questing4.
Oh happy me, this one has evaded me b4 today.

Nice quick find. Pulled in to school carpark to get my bearings and to escape the business of the main rd. Glad I did. Nice little leg stretch and a Geocache as well. TFTC TNLNSL.
I parked in the school car park, happy it was a weekend, and walked up to check out the scout hall. I was only at another scout hall yesterday picking up a cache.
There was another person in the car park hanging by themselves which was weird and we both eye-balled each other a couple of times. Clearly I won the freak out competition because they weren't in the area when I returned.
A nice walk down a nice path and the cache was spied quickly, but admittedly I did search around for a stick for a bit of a prod first. I'm no longer worried about snakes but spiders are the new enemy and I think they get off on scaring the p&ss out of people. Something crawled out of the cache onto my shoulder but it was friendly. tftc

6 metres off GZ we spotted the log and then the cache
Cache was abit damp but the log intact.
A nice little path to walk through.
Thank you CO for the cache
Left some swag to brighten up the cache.

Today, I met up with Mrs RoddyC to clear a few green boxes in the area. We took the wrong way to this cache and found ourselves bush bashing our way to the nearby path. Then a slight detour saw us looking at the cache hiding spot. We signed the log and removed some wet soap from the container before returning the cache to its hiding spot and continuing on our way. TFTC
Parked in the school car park and wandered off down the track leaving the geowife doing her knitting. Coords were spot on for me and the cache was in the first place I looked. TFTC Questing4
I was down in the area today and this cache was a targetted cache as it satisfied a criteria that I required to nearly finish a challenge.
The vehicle was parked at a suitable location and made my way along the tracks following the GPS which did not want to settle down due to the cloud cover. Eventually it settled down and at GZ it was not too long before the cache was in hand.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
