Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Ahhh, it's not there, THAT'S why I couldn't find it!
Soggy muddy knees on my jeans for my efforts though.

A few muggles around this afternoon, but all preoccupied one way or another on the oval. A quick retrieval and replacement. TFTC
The cache was actually sitting in the car park, in plain view. This did, however, leave me some opportunity for mischief! While holding the cache in my hand, I told Mr_Slick that it was hidden in the 11th bush from the club, and pointed to the correct bush WITH the cache in my hand. He then spent 5 minutes looking for it while the other half of Team Silly Penguins and I signed the cache.
Mr_Slick was quite displeased.
The old log is in a plastic bag in the cache, but it is rotting and smelling. This cache needs maintenance, I think.

Out running laps. Nice way to cool down. Found it with Geo kid 1 and 2. Took track able. Needs new log
Lots of friendly people out walking their dogs. Took a letter "K" for our granddaughter Kristina. Started our TB on its way here while we were visiting from Canada. TFTC
A delightfully green paddock surrounded by even greener cache hiding places
I picked the correct seat and soon had me a cache in paw
Thanks for my daly dose of vitamin cache [^]

Muggles muggles everwhere! A tricky way to introduce GeoHubby to caching - but fun trying to maintain 'casual stealth'. Took a seat in attempt to blend in and spotted GZ right next to me Log is very wet - a temporary log has been placed by (I think) TyeDye Smilies. TFTC!
We found the cache. Good fun avoiding the muggles. There was soggy logs so we could not record find. Letter K and bubbles.
Spent the afternoon caching in this area so this one was on the list as well. It took a couple of minutes but I found it anyway. Old logbook was still wet, might as well replace it I guess!? Log at 1530h, TFTC.
I'm guessing more difficult on game day. No probs on a chilly 'summers' evening. tftc
We were wondering if we had to be crafty or nuts to find this cache. Took a little bit longer than we thought. Mrs TiedyeSmileys sat to read some logs while Mr TiedyeSmileys kept on looking. Mr TiedyeSmileys was going to jump around Mrs TiedyeSmileys but ended up pushing her out of the way which was lucky as she was almost sitting on the cache and didn't know it.

Nice and quiet with no muggles about and with the spot on coords had the cache in no time. TFTC
We finally found it, after a few failed attempts due to muggle sports being played, people walking, ect, Today we could stick our noses in there and have a real look.
Log was very wet. we dried it off the best we could and added a new piece of paper and new water tight bag.

Had attempted this one during winter but abandoned the search as the area was way to wet and muddy. The problem today was the Groundskeeper was riding his roller back and forth on oval. Was about to give up again when the Groundskeeper must have decided it was lunchtime and he packed up and left. Took a quick peek and there it was. I must have been Oh So Close last time. TFTC TNLNSL
The place was not as busy today as I thought it might be.
With school holidays upon us i thought this place might be overrun.
It turned out I had the place pretty much to myself and had the cache in hand after a short 5 min search.
Great place. Cheers and happy caching.

Tried to search in between oval users and walkers coming past at various intervals. Decided it was too busy so left, but we are aware that this place could be so much busier. Will have to return another day.
Great satisfaction finding this one.... not because the cache itself was hard to find but rather its pretty difficult to find the area quiet enough to do a search!!!! TFTC
As far back as May there have been reports of this needing some maintainence so I placed another sheet of paper in it but it still needs some attention.
Duly found and signed.

This was our 3729th overall find.
Found at 4:50 PM. We almost gave this one a miss due to the previous DNF's but thought we would give it a quick try and found it within 30 seconds.
Thanks sparkey25 for the cache.

Found in the company of Fishing Pole Ninja, during a 4 hour, 20 cache blitz. Grew up around here, so was nice to see how it has all changed. TNLN. TFTC.
found with dennisc52. havent been to this part of adelaide so ithink its pretty nice. TFTC .
Even late on a Sunday needed to wait for the muggles to move away. A much better location than most of the last 10 caches I found this evening.
One of the 108 finds during our ‘Adelaide Assault’ with Wessarah. Took the drive up - just like country footie! A great day’s adventure, lots of fun– but tired the next day. TFTC
There once was a cache that was great,
It was found with Josan08
Our Adelaide Assualt,
Was such a success,
We finished with 108!!!!

An easy find, and a good location, hadn't seen this location before and spied out the playground from afar. Will come back with the restless later.

Took the geowife to find this one i looked and looked. Dont they just walk up and find it the first place they look. TFTCSL
Found it with no muggles at this time.... SL. Thanks sparkey25 for organising the cache and hunt.
The name completely eludes me and the hint is totally redundant, but nevertheless I found it on a quiet day with not a player or dog-walker in sight.
The tennis courts were full of action but the oval was empty. Luckily a muggle-free search. Thanks for the cache Sparkey25.
Find 43 of 50 in a two day caching run around Adelaide.
It sure was warm but I loved tracking down caches.
Thanks for providing fun in my Holidays.

With the corrected coordinates this one was found within seconds this time! Cold, windy and rainy meant there were no dogwalkers, no joggers, no one in the clubrooms watching us, which made a nice change.
Invaded the area, but couldn't park too close to GZ, due to a muggle sleeping in their car [|)], blocking the ramp.
Quickly found. TNLNSL.
Thanks Sparky25 [^].

A nice easy find as the coords were spot on. Enjoyed the walk around the oval this afternnon. Some guy was watering the pitch, another was hitting golf balls and a further two people were doing laps, oh and one guy finding caches.
Quite a busy place.
Thanks

Done with Acts2YouthGroup on a flying visit. It appears that something may have fallen down here but I am not sure! TFTC
This was cache # 7 of 65 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. I was not sure where the name came from on this one, but we had a nice find on it. My thanks to sparkey25 for the cache.
I did not realise that the coordinates has been changed. Bummer I will be back. Thanks for the hunt.

The cricket was over, though I had to keep my eye on the club rooms. Used the dog as an alibi.
I did my time at this oval watching the boy play footy years ago. Fortunately his opinion of the game soon matched mine, and we moved on to something else.

Ah, now I remember this cache. I remember it because of the first few logs, and my amazement on how badly the coords could be bollocksed up! Oh well, it's not the first time, and certainly won't be the last. A garbage truck pulled up next to GZ (presumably for the obvious), but then nothing happened for at least 5 minutes. He just sat there, so in the end I got impatient and found the cache anyway. Discreetly, of course. TFTC.

Used the advice of the frog and the starman as the coords were hopeless. Good to see they've been updated now.
Another find whilst in the area cleaning the map up again.
Had never been here before, but must say that the neighbouring home looks very gran all lit up.
We didn't even bother using the Oregon, as from reading the logs it was so far out. The freddo comments made it an easy find though after we waited out the people in the club rooms coming out for a smoke.
With all the added co-ordinates I would have expected some action by the owner by now to correct the details, as this is just poor form after so many hiders have complained.

There are plenty of alternative co-ords to go from, so why not update the cache details? NOW
Thanks to Freddo for the detailed description, as I couldn't read Skippy's corrected coords on the Oregon . To add my 2c worth, my rough coords were S 34 54.023 E 138 40.142 - about 37m from the listed location. I couldn't work out the relevance of the cache name, and the dog walkers and groundkeeper made it tricky to find. But apart from that it was all good .
TNLN - Thanks sparkey25

My coordinates were way out, so concentrated my search on the one that was recommended by other finders. No luck, and there's only so many times you can tell dog walkers you're looking for a spring that fell off your bike without starting to seriously worry that they'll try and help you find the spring, so I moved on.
Unfortunately too many people enjoying the cricket on a saturday afternoon. Will try again soon.
Coor. were off by about 40 metres but good job with that one, it took a while, very fun
Found on the Keeping Ahead Tour 2009
This one took a while for us to find, but we got it in the end.

Checked a location 35m west of the listed co-ords. The third bush west of the bin. Success. Cache found. Listed GZ was still at the light pole.
The externally got hint was good. Though looking away from the club house in the 3rd bush near the bin did not result in a find. Check the middle bush on the other side. Middle meaning not the 2nd bush or 4th bush, but the middle of those bushes. Hope this is not a spoiler.
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
I went down there today and someone had moved the geocache along a few bushes!!! I was flustered but i replaced it where it was meant to be and it can now be found at the correct location. Apologizes to everyone who spent so much time there before.
Armed with Skippy's coords this was a quick hunt and find at 1950H (just after cricket training) [^]
TNLNSL, Cheers.
TNLNSL, Cheers.
I had a go at this one during my lunch time from work.
On arrival I met Scoobster, who had already spent many hours over a few days - without success.
Then along came skippypom, who had also spent time here before. Both with kids, in tow.
We started to widen our search after going over old ground. After spending more than my 1/2 hour lunch break, the cache was discovered about
30-40 meters away from published coordinates. We decided that Scoobster who had spent the most time here was First. skippypom was Second,
and I was Third. The actual coordinates are S 34' 54,023 E 138' 40.142 > I think.

Fourth to find @ 3:50 pm nearly 2 hours after first finder
I left my real GPSr at home and used my Nuvi 760 from the truck to find this.
My GZ must have been 30 metres out , will have to return and see what my GZ is on the Colorado300
A better hint would be 3 bushes away from the bin
TNLN
Cheers Skippy

It feels great to be in the top 3 after sooooo much effort and time spent, Thanks for the good team effort today.
Being new at this , it has given us a lesson in if at first you don't succeed, try and try again, but expand your
search effort by about 40metres!
we are now one step closer to our FTF after getting silver today,

The bush next to the light pole was my GZ. It did not move and the cache did not appear. Cricket training was on so I did not stay for long.
Add my name to the growing list of DNF's.
Did find lots of evidence of previous searches though!
