No luck finding this one, as per the previous logs, it might not be there anymore.
DNF at 1.50pm in the company of Robmc. Found a ladies handbag which we passed onto the police. Couldn't find a cache unless it has been swallowed up by the encroaching vegetation.
No find here today, unless you count some ladies handbag (that we took to the local copshop). There was no logbook in it anyway!
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Found nice spot Container has no lid and needs urgent attention before anyone else comes here
Cache has to be replaced asap as the lid of the cache is missing and has now become a home to a very large slug and a spider. Cache contents were spread out over ground log book destroyed.
First find, found by the 11 year old offsider. Great fun. No lid still and contents very wet. Took nothing.
lid missing, replaced it upside down to try and keep it dry. took nil, left a poker chip
Our very first geocache find!
We were ill prepared in bare feet however a lovely view and great start.

Reperio at 1130. A beautiful day to be out finding some caches, and this one point I hadn't yet visited before. Arrived at GZ amid plenty of spots to hide a cache, but not the right spot it seemed. After 15 mins of searching, I went the phone a friend option, who only partially remembered where the cache was, so after another 5-10 mins of searching, the cache was finally located in it's godet hole, but was completely covered over with grass and other bits washed up. Didn't spending the time searching here as it is a really nice view across the lake.

A great spot with a cache that was a bit tricky. Believe your unit and keep looking. It could be a bit covered by organics so don't give up. It's hard looking for the cache when there are such top views out over the water. Clear skies!
Was worried when we found a bear on the loose that the cache had been muggled but we found the cache intact a short distance away. Returned bear to den and signed log before returning cache. TFTC.
mmmm looked for a long time.......................will go back on cooler day.

We searched everywhere we could think of but just couldn't find anything.
This was our very first so maybe we were just missing something.

Nice walk after having dinner on the other side of the water wondering which park it would be in. Thanks
Eventually found this cache after the iPhone gps got it's bearings. Once we were headed in the right direction it was an easy find. Took Kookaburra, left badge. TFTC!
Had a look at lunch time and after finding the right park went to gz and had a good look around. nothing on my way back to the car for the clue I spotted it. tftc I sometimes go to the park on the point facing toronto but did'n know about this one.
A short walk and very good coords quickly gave us GZ. MrsFish saw the signs and grabbed the cache. TN but left a coin. Thanks Lyrebirds for the hide.
Nice Quick Find.. Great Views!! Had prickles stuck in my jacket so was picking them all out all afternoon!
I was excited to find another one of these regular caches because they have lots of goodies inside! Unfortunately, there was only one broken army man
Fantastic views of the area.

This was one of those caches that you slap yourself once you finally find it. I really should learn to trust the GPS...

This was the Pie 4 Pi Event day we were heading to. Spikeymikey so generously and thoughtfully picked up myself and minichef for a day of caching and pie for which we both are indebted forever. It was a great day, with some good caches, a top event and a fun day out with a mate.
Straight forward find, thank you. TNLNSL

We decided to have a romantic Valentine's Day spent caching! We parked the car nearby and made the quick walk out onto the foreshore area. At first we thought we had to climb up on some big rocks that were covered with slippery moss, but as we were trying to find a way up the rocks the GPS settled down and we then realised no climbing was needed. We located the cache soon after. TNLNSL TFTC
Non Geo hubby found this one today too 4 out of 4 for him today!!! Took Embroidery Hippo and Left Ice Age toy-SL!
found on the way home from HAVOC new year.
Skill and experience... makes me feel old!
2010--- sometime this year it will be 9 years of Geocachig for me! I'd call that experience!
left a working compass. took nothing

We spent far too long looking at the wrong altitude for this one which turned out to be a pretty simple hide in the end. Signed the log and back to the Geomobile to listen to the cricket on the way to the next Cache. Australia had just take two wickets in the last over, and Pakistan were starting to get a bit wobbly

Found this one whilst out with the kids.
This is a special spot for me. My grandfather used to bring me here fishing when I was a kid.
This was his favourite night time bream fishing spot. We would put out a dozen handlines that would be wound on corks. He would then place the corks in large tin cans and we would sit and wait for the cork to rattle in the tin. We would then run around trying to work out which tin it was before pulling in a good sized bream.
Thanks for the memories lyrebirds

Yay, *FTF* number 50. Took an hour os after seeing the published logs before I could get out to find these new caches and given the way things are nowadays I should have been too late but after 5 minutes of searching I found the cache and the empty logbook. A nice spot but you wouldn't want the waves to be any bigger than they were today.
Thanks lyrebirds.
Thanks lyrebirds.
Second to find here: passed gd [B)] on the way - if truth be told we both robbed each other simultaneously of a FTF, then crossed paths for 2nd to find, nice to see him again. Fantastic pair of caches these, my daughter took a beautiful shell and placed a thong keyring and a heart shaped bangle. Also left an Aotearoa geocoin to search for the lake's dragons. Storm winds made the whole affair more interesting. Thanks Lyrebirds!

We found this after lunch but were not the first or even the second. The wind was howling making staying dry and finding the hide a challenge. On a nice day thos would be a stunning location. TNLNSL thanks to the Lyrebirds for a great cache. [Cache 68]
