Logs
Didn't have much hope for this one, given it hasn't been found for a while. Had a good look in several trees, climbed up, looked in holes, but nothing.
CO - can you please check if this one still exists. Hasn't been found for a while.
DNF. We climbed several tree with several holes. Found a hole with twigs next in tree next to GZ.
Good muggle free day. 99.9% sure we found the hidey hole for this. Stretched up, looked and felt around. Even used a good prodding tool but no luck. Long time since this was found so may be missing. Will put a watch on this.
Up here for another dog show. Looked high and low last yaer but this time with a bit better GPS location found the right tree. However that was the easy part. Extracting the log took forever. Log now signed. TFTC
#540 Well, as previously logged, I came back for another go at this one, this time armed with a tall husband and a couple of handy tools to aid with the extraction. Very tight squeeze in there!! Took a lot of concentration and skilled handiwork to get the cache out but we did it!! TFTC!! Very well hidden and a good challenge.
Had a wee look at GZ but decided to come back with more light and my taller other half. Will be back!!
Easy find but tricky to get out. Kept biohazard_freak and indib1nd1 busy for about half an hour! Tweezers or pliers might be handy for this one!! Finally got the goods in hand and ticked this one off, before hitting the track for more. TFTC
Found with Violetflame2012,biohazard_freak and Indib1nd1. Had a lot of fun getting cache out of it's hide, but we got there.TFTC
Another cold windy day and had the park to myself . Located the obvious feature according to hint, but the cache didn't reveal itself. Must be too cunningly concealed for me.
Hey I finally went back to the Park and found the right tree with the right hole. Great excuse to go tree climbing on Council land BUT how on earth do I get the cache out - fingers can't do the job. Next day going past again and have a spoon in my lunch box - spoon can't do the job either. This is getting serious. Back again the following day with two tools and after much manipulating had the cache in my hand . . Fantastic challenge. No muggles around on all my visits, too wet and cold. Nice and dry inside the container and I left a small silk rose to give the cache some treasure. Great Geocache , it gave me a buzz completing it. Licklick TFTC
Oh dear, did not find this one. Found a very obvious, up high, hidding place but Grandson on my shoulders was too chicken to stick his arm in too far. Went back back early next morning with a bucket (20 litre) to collect rubbish ! but also to use as a step - still could not reach the bottom of this hole either wrong hole or need a bigger bucket ! Will try starting again.
Took out 1/2 a bucket of rubbish. Dog walkers love this park have to pick up rubbish while they move on.

Height wasn't the issue but with a bit of team work, the cache was in hand. What a spectacle we must have made, lucky it was early morning. Nice area and pleased to find the toilets open and usable. TFTC

I dropped my pen on the walk from the carpark/toilet block, so if any cachers find it, please let me know... it was a nice one!! Had to log the cache with a muddy-green smear. Im glad Im tall!! Thanks.
Never been to this park before and it looks so much bigger in here than from the road TFTC
Took awhile to spot this well hidden cache. Coords abit out for us but no problem tracking down the hiding spot. Luckily, i am quite tall so was able to reach in and grab the cache without too many issues. Watch out where you put your hands as miss pulled out a very unsavoury plastic bag containing doggy poop. Enjoyed the break between the GB1 power trail. TFTC!
found ages ago before a frisbee game and forgot to log it. Good hide has us looking for a while.
Took a couple of (ok 4!) visits to get this one. Had to borrow an extraction tool from the husbands man-shed and become a bit of a monkey woman.
Very satisfying find with libertebelle

29/11: Second time looking for this cache, still no luck
EDIT:
01/12: FINALLY got this cache with Gwench! Required a specific tool and a boost up. Frustrating, but so satisfying once we got it TFTC

Spent ages looking for this one. Looked high and higher then low. Looked in all the holes but alas came up empty.
Sneaky hide and a challenge to extract, but got it in the end. It pays to widen your search area when you get to posted GZ co-ords. T4TC
Managed to find a parking spot about 170m from the cache and then walked the remainder of the distance. Got to GZ and commenced the search. Looked in all the obvious places first and then had to widen the search just a little to find the cache. Getting this cache out turned out to be rather difficult but got there in the end. TFTC
At last we found the cache after 3 or 4 attempts. Very sneaky hide. TFTC, I think this find has given me the most satisfaction of all the finds so far!
About time we found this one, I can't remember how many times we've tried. Found with DeadRockFlower and 3 wee bucks. TFTC.
Out for the day with Tikitour doing my first 'hides' - but of course we had to do a few 'seeks' as well...
Grounds very muddy and squelchy underfoot - but we're getting intrepid and shoes were filthy by now anyway.
Poked around in heaps of holes and then located cache using extendable mirror - but we're too old for climbing so haven't signed logbook - will be back to do this with either grandies or taller hubbies - TFTC though
3rd July - Thanks Mr Tikitour for being tall enough!! And thanks tikitour for signing log for me - will save me returning and muddying up my shoes... am off to Warehouse this week to buy boots for geocaching!!

Had a search where I thought it was. Though I missed it being Mini. Riser5 climbed up and retrieved the cache that had started falling further back in the tree. While I was logging the cache, Riser5 threw a few dozen small twigs in the hide to keep the cache near the front.
Mr W.E.K.A. searched the one location he could just reach, without success. It seems a stepladder is almost essential.
On a short weekend break up Whangerei way in gorgeous weather picking up a few caches along the way.
This was a good one and thankfully no sports on today giving us time to search. Finally found when Mr Pastamaker hoisted the youngest Junior Pastamaker onto his shoulders for a better view.

A little bit of a soggy walk across the park today. Fortunately, it wasn't a game day, so we had the whole park to ourselves. Just as well, we would have looked a bit suspicious checking the trees out.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
First cache in the town proper and after parking a couple of hundred metres away we wandered over the grass to the hide.
This one would no doubt be an interesting retrieval on game day.

Great, Today I was in luck as I have a TALL hubby who just loves to climb for me. Had a great laugh watching him have a little trouble to extract the mirco. Well done we have signed the log. Yepee.
4762 Great hide, took a while to find, had lots of fun trying to extract the cache, we liked, TFTC.
Energetic soccer game on here today. Must have looked a bit out of place doing a circumnavigation of the field. Cache very hard to retrieve, even for Mr TT. Mrs TT and the bear didn't have a hope. TFTC
With the football and dog agility, we're surprised we found a quiet spot with a well hidden cache in it. TFTC
came for this cache in the xmas holidays and spent an hour serching without any luck so came back a few days later with a head lamp and chair and still had no luck. cant belive that on our third atempt today found it is 2 minits TFTC
Climbed the tree to find, nice little hide.Enjoyed watching some very well trained dogs at grounds.SL.
Woo, seven before me missed and Yay I find, Its still there. Try a little further up the tree, I am 180cm and i just reached it standing with my arm outstreched.
had a good look around, threw my son up 5 trees, was a great hole to hide something at the back of the tree, the cupboard was bare
Didn't find the cache despite looking high and low. Boosted 1 wee buck up high to look in some of the nooks and crannies. I think it must have been muggled
aaaghh! Spent ages looking for it. Double checked co-ordinates!
Must be a bit short sighted. Stink was curious about the 'stretching' in logs!
Will have to come back with KingLuna some day soon...

Good to get outfor a walk and no one around to bother us while we did the acrobatics. Great hide T4TC
Requires either a tall member in the party or a very light one that is easy to lift! Great start to our geocaching ventures!
Found by the Smith family on a pleasant afternoon cache hunting. Took along my son especially to find this one after reading some of the "find" logs. His climbing ability and small fingers helped in the search. TFTC
Last find for the day, the rock climbing genius used his skills in a different way and cache was soon in hand. TFTC
[3.00pm. Was here last week without success.] Realised that because I am a little vertically handicapped than many of you I should come prepared. So today I came with the kitchen steps and kitchen tongs. Having checked out the hard to reach places of last week I looked a little further and soon spotted it. Quick retrieval with the tongs. [No muggles about today. Thank you, David.]
Found quickly. Wife got stuck while retrieving. D'oh, left pen in car. Made a makeshift pen....
Felt a goose last time, but this time Mrs TWS spotted it on approach.
Took a few minutes to extract.

The Barnacle especially enjoyed a really good leg stretch after a long day in the car... the mermaid hobbled along and luckily had the pirate to go the full stretch n fetch the cache TFTC!
Took a while to find this one.
Good way for a stretch after a long travel.
Coords were a bit off for me (~8m)

I well remember the Blue Goose from my childhood, driving to Whangarei to stay with my gandmother. Have looked for it over the last few years and not located it, so nice to have a cache to force us to stop here! Checked out a few likely hiding spots before we found the right one. Thanks.

Felt a few, s-t-r-e-t-c-hed and got it! Bit of drizzle about but all the players safely at school.
First cache for the day. A few muggles in the park and it looked like they were training there dogs. Found cache with no problems but I did have an aditional hint. TFTC
Following the directions from the GPS I saw a suspicious looking guy loitering around right where the cache should be... turned out to be Grobyc, I knew I should have gotten up earlier! Cool hiding place, TFTC
Found on the 2nd visit, Came friday morning at 7am to try and snag a FTF before work but the rain decided to make that hard, looked as best I could but eventually gave in as I didnt want to be soaked before I get to work.
Came back saturday morning and looked for quite a while in the area that the gps said thinking that Sarah always gz's in the exact same spot as mine but no Sarah must have had a bad signal day 12m out..
Get to the spot that I beileve it is in and noticed a muggle so I waited for a moment and saw the gps in the hand.
Cache was located and retrieved quickly afterwards

bummer - was really really really wanting this to be my first FTF!! Seems I may be just that little bit too short! Will have to return another day with a taller Ludz!
