### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Jimmymaff,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

It could be that I’m short & cant reach it or I just can’t spot it.
Either way a nice walk & lovely view.
Will come back with Geokid (who has a longer reach than me) & try again another day.
Thanks anyway.

On a visit to my son's new home which they have just built on the river at Nicholson, so took a photo of it from the rail trail bridge. TFTC Jimmymaff
Riding the rail trail with the geo husband and brother & brother in law from Bairnsdale to Bruthen for lunch and back again. This was a pretty quick find once we read the clue as the GPS had us all over the place. TFTC
I had a look for this one but I couldn't find it today. I spent a bit of time, looked at the clue, but ultimately failed. It is only now that I am logging this, that I realised that it is a multi, not a traditional. (No wonder I couldn't find it). My thanks to Jimmymaff for placing it.
Found this on a late afternoon walk, have ridden along here many times, just never stoped

A short afternoon caching trip with mezza74. This one helps with a challenge cache "Can You Spell June in June".
Thanks Jimmymaff - great views.

Found the cache...covered in spider webs! Don't drop it they say!! Ha!! Fortunately mr spider was out and all went well. Gorgeous spot! TFTC
Looking forward to a kayak with such a beautiful river nearby. Glad we came here. Watched at my geopartner freaked at the spiderwebs covering the cache and laughed when I read "don't drop it"

Having ridden a short section of the EGRT from Bairnsdale with our daughter and granddaughter, we were able to find the right 'nich' and add our name to the log.

First one for a wintry day taking GeoKids out and introducing their friends to a great activity TFTC
We headed out today to find some nearby caches and this was one we found. Enjoyed this short multi and the walk to GZ. The view from GZ was beautiful, the river calm and lots of muggles fishing below. Deserves a favourite. Left pathtag. TFTM

Found with ggkof whilst riding from Bruthen to Bairnsdale. Nice easy find. Logbook completely full.

Went for a loop-drive with hubby and little miss geobub, grabbed this one while stretching our legs and getting out of the car for a spell. Continued along the trail and saw Rosella's & some bunnies. Such a lovely bridge with beautiful views. TFTC.
When I was researching my week around here, I was surprised there wasn't a cache near this spot. As a kid I used to walk and ride along this track- well before the rails had been removed and before it had been nicely paved. Great view. The log has one spot left! Will need a replacement v soon. Tftc
We had a friendly horse gave us some help in sorting out the numbers for GZ. We suggested to him that he follow us, but he declined and stayed back to eat more grass. We had seen the structure GZ was on from the road earlier and discussed taking the bikes for a look, so we were happy this cache took us there.

The turn around point for my brief walk with baby from the fly over. A multi with a beautiful view that fits in well. Tnln Tftc!
Suscoe's 14th find of 21 for today.
The sun was shining as we walked to GZ.
Found with the sister.
Thanks to Jimmymaff for placing this cache.
A delightful trail and in good nick!

This was the first find for a long weekend and we enjoyed going back over the rail trail where we have ridden before. We were careful not to drop the cache! TNLN TFTC Jimmy
Had been here along time ago but it nice to have another look. First cach for a friend I took along and what a good one to start with.
A beautiful view from here. We rather enjoyed it. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Took a little bit of brain work (thanks kirstmac!) But we got there. Beware if you have little cachers on the trail with you- this is one for mum and dad to grab.
Love caches you don't see when you are looking for the cache, but can't not see after you have found them. TFTC
Lucky I can play cricket otherwise this may have got wet. We intend to find all of the rail trail caches towards the trail start at Bairnsdale today. Thankyou for this one.
# 3843. Robmc and I left Sale this morning and headed to Nicholson to ride the Rail Trail to Bairnsdale and back. We had done that section and I had worked out the final coordinates for this multi before we left so we rode on past the car to GZ and what a lovely spot it was this morning. These types of hides always make me soooooo nervous as I am sure I will drop it when retrieving or trying to put back in position. Success today though. TFTC
Not sure why we have never done this one before, but it seems like today was the day! Made the calculations and headed to the GZ. Not far from it we came across two small muggles zipping around in a golf buggy..... each to their own I suppose. Found the cache easily and didn't drop it! TFTC Jimmy
Geohubby searching way, leaning right over the water, nod then swearing nod reaching for his pocket as. Splash is heard in the river. I look in disbelief, not the car keys, please not the car keys......thankfully it was just the pen;) disaster verged, cache in hand and signed. Tftc
Loved this simple multi, for the walk & for the great views when we got there. Thanks Jimmymaff.
Was amused to realise after I did the math, that the new GZ was taking me back from whence I had come... so had to backtrack 450m or so, but what a good reason to have another look at the wonderful view up river! Thanks for bringing me here, the rail trail is a real credit to the dedicated men and women who chose to make good use of this infrstructure for the pleasure of future explorers! Well done. TFTC!
spotted this one about 10 meters away from the GZ.
i don’t drop it, as it’s is wet below.

This was next on my alternate route to Bairnsdale today. Although it required a bit of backtracking, the task wasn't too onerous and I soon had the stash in hand at 10:00. A nice spot too while away the time but alas, I had to keep moving .
TNLNSL. Thanks Jimmymaff.

Quick find on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. Had been meaning to get this one for some time. Went out with young dragon to first stage and got info. Walked up the trail. GPSr not playing the game, so stood while waiting for it to settle. Thought "I bet ti's there". Walked a little further and there it was. Retreated to a picnic table out of the wind and signed log while watching the grey fantails flying around. What a great way to spend an afternoon.

WOW long fabulous view in all directions. We didn't drop it but that could be a problem. Talked to a local fisherman here and he said part of the bridge had been blown up with dynamite. tftc
Found this one whilst checking out the rail trail. The hint said sw corner, it had migrated east, so it took a little longer to find.

Chaplain Mike and myself calculated the GZ to this cache several weeks ago but we weren't willing to find in the cold and dark. Quick find today. SL TFTC!
Found with Smart Sassy Siren.
Previously completed the sums for the GZ, so went to retrieve the cache today. What a beautiful location, but it's truly amazing how muggles just seem to appear from no where on these rail trails. As though they're almost ghosts, appearing from no where, pass you and then disappearing in to thin air. I'm told by Smart Sassy Siren, it's the same on the trail at Bruthen.

Yay - found it on a sunny but chilly Winter's day.
Thanks Jimmymaff for setting up this cache. It was a nice day for a stroll to the bridge to find this one today. It was a very peaceful place - no muggles at the time of finding the cache but the walkers and their four legged buddies arrived soon after. A family of Wrens played and sang to their hearts content just nearby. It was cute to watch and listen to. TFTC Jimmymaff.

Walked up the path from boat ramp to GZ but....... missed the sign so had to re track. to get coords. All good. Often pass by here on my pushie cheers TFTC
Today was the fourth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. We visited a number of towns and areas today between Bairnsdale and Cann River and we were lucky enough to find some caches along the way. Again it was overcast at times with some very infrequent showers, we have had another excellent day. This trail is a great asset to the communities it connects and an excellent use of a now disused railway corridor. After a short walk from our car to GZ we were greeted by wonderful views from this elevated position. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. We were pleased when the cache was firmly back in its hide - pleased that we hadn't dropped it. TFTC Jummymaff
Quick find on a beautiful morning with the sun making mist come off the river. Fantastic spot. Thanks.
Found at 14:45. Not sure how I missed this one last time but was glad to find it today after a short stroll, fabulous views of the river from here. Thanks
Out caching after a great meal at the Retreat Hotel.
Quick calc soon had me headed for GZ (a mere 450 or so mtrs)

Found the clues and did the maths to determine GZ on Friday but GZ was a bit far away for a walk then, but was able to take the walk on my way back to Melbourne this afternoon. What a pleasant walk to a fantastic location. Found the cache quickly (perfect coords) but then realised I didn't grab a pen. What a relief to find a micro with a pencil!!!!! Thanks to Jimmymaff for a well thpught out milti, and for bringing me here (twice!)
Looking at a list of caches near home this morning on the iPad there were a few that had me thinking, "I'm sure I've done that..." and scratching my head. This was one of them. Fortunately I don't delete field note files off my GPS but archive them with a date. A bit of detective work to see when micaparamedic logged some of them (I was with him) and oila! Logged a bit late but better late than never! TFTC

Found the info sign and worked out the co-ordinates. Niched up the trail and carefully retrieved the cache. SL. Thanks to Jimmymaff for the cache.
Had no an to do this cache until an unexpected detour led us robots doorstep. TFTC
Collected the clues and walked to GZ wondering if the muggles would have moved on by the time we got there. Not far from WP1 we saw a huge stumpytail lizard sunning himself high on the right hand bank, before disappearing into a hole as we approached. Muggles were far enough away that we could make the find and log it at 2:30pm without problem. Then took some photos of the great views before heading back to the car.

Left the children with the car to bicker amongst themselves while we collected the clues and got some air. Zipped off to find the cache. Were careful when retrieving it. People fishing almost directly below us must have been wondering what we were doing!! TFTC and the stop which allowed us to clear our heads before the kids did then in!
1130 Almost missed it - hadn't seen Yorkoz' posting, so by sheer good fortune happened to look where it ought to have been - and it was. Thanks for retrieving it. Great outlook, but bring back the trains!
I saw this one had taken a little tumble so thought it was a job for G-STRING.
So got out g-yack and paddled to GZ from the silt jetties, plenty of close encounters with carp in the lower Nicolson river. At GZ I managed to retrive the cache and replace it in its rightfull place and add my name to the roll of honour
( G-STRING = geo string, a strong magnet tied with a lenth of cord )

Cache has been dropped and is located in a position that is too dangerous to climb down to. Container needs replacing and probably repositioning.
Arrived at published location and made the calculations then it was off to GZ. Was disappointed to locate the cache container in a location I wasn't prepared to climb down to retrieve, maybe 30 yrs ago I might have. So I have found the cache but unable to sign the log due to cache being dropped and now out of reach. TFTC
Interesting search. found it after short time at 1620. 3rd for the day. should never tell people to be careful. unfdortunately dropped it so couldn't log in book. Cach at the moment on steelwork just above concrete pilon jsut out of reach but dry and can be seen.
Determined not to miss out on our first cahe of the day, we looked into every nook and cranny there was.
Eventually we found it.
We were sure the horses were sniggering at us, epecially at the time it took us.
We had a giggle and had fun.

Our first cache for today and it was nice to have a pleasant walk. Collected the required information and calculated a GZ before setting off for our stroll, spoke to a horse on the way who was no help with the hide location but once we arrived the cache was discovered without much trouble.

1250. Nicht was appropriate alas on this, the 1st of our trail ride caches. A+'s Xmas present for other sports, a Garmin Forerunner 305, was pressed into geocaching service and we eventually seemed to get a steady reading. Searched hi and hi. After 20 minutes. translated the hint and found our 2 locations of focus were as described. Gave it a miss after 30 minutes. Hope it is still there Jimmymaff.
The views and structure (photo) were plenty of compensation for the extended halt. btw, we added a cache towards the other end of the trail to complement your two.
