Very disappointed that I didn't find this one. Had I read previous logs, I would have worn gloves and pursued the prickly bush. I thought surely it wouldn't be under there and the poor shrub next to it has been almost dug out by the roots. I lost a bit of skin, which concerned the grandies. Perhaps better luck next time.
Very nice area.......but disappointed we couldn't find as we left quickly due to all the bee's around
Took too long to find it, but it was there. I think my brain just wasn't connected to my eyes this morning. GPSr was spot on, but I needed to look just a bit deeper. The clues and hints helped.
Took the shiny gecko and left a white golf ball.
Nice cache.

Nice cache.
A quick find after visiting the playground with the kids. The cache is very exposed but with the amount of trash in the bushes it blends in well!
Very quick find, with a few muggles around, but managed to make the grab when they weren't paying us any attention. Left GC. cheers
We were in the area looking for a piece of a puzzle and picked this one up on the way home. Thanks Emily angel.
A quick find in a little reserve, not far from a school and tennis courts. TFTC.
My first geocache ever! Easy to find and very fun.
Left - Coloured Pen; Took - Pink Ribbon badge.
Look forward to many more!

A good one for us for showing a geo-kid friend what geocaching is all about. Took tennis ball, left "Kathmandu" bug with lights for eyes. SL TFTC
I knew I was going to be in the area for a puzzle cache so I checked on the logs for this previous dnf, and pulled a few pieces of info that would help my search.
I got to gz and spotted something that looked odd and when i bent down I could see the cache. I know I checked there last time.
Glad to get a dnf off the list.

Spent the afternoon caching in the area where my relatives live. I started off on the wrong side but after a few minutes I did have the container in hand and logged at 14.00hrs. Place was quiet due to public holiday. Took wombat fridgemagnet, left tiger-puppet/keyring. TFTC and greetings from a travelling Dutchman!
Prickly! Took ashtray, left strawberry charm. 2nd one today & our 4th find overall, not bad for newbies.
Out with the Honeysuckers for some caching in the eastern suburbs and Morialta area.
A quick find in a quiet area today. TFTC

Found in the company of a Muggle family that enjoys taking me out caching for the thrill.
Had to call in a bit of help for this one as the bush & I had quite a scuffle = the bush won 10-0.
Gloves came out and we dove deep and found the reward!
It seems we were following Honeysucker & Firesafe around today too!
When we arrived, we saw two young Asian kids shooing at an Orange tabby with branches....all I could think was that they wanted him for dinner!!
oops...did I say that or think it?
They left soon after and the cat had decided the middle of the road was a safer place to be when we found the cache!
Strange goings on!

After my grandson showed me his new school, we drove back along this road.
As we went past this park, the GPS went "bing" so we had to stop and see if this cache could be found.
after a short surch, we had this one in hand.
placed our name in the log book and after seeing some of what we know know are pathtags, we took one of froghoppin's out and my grand son loves it. many thaks for the tag.
now back to the daughters place for dinner.

One day we may get to do this cache. Today, like every other time we have tried, was muggle full day
It took two attempts to find this one and it was all based on the GPS settling in on the correct locations. TFTC
Called past, don't really like digging for caches in bushes...
Had a quick look, turned up nothing and left.

A lovely day for caching with new geofriend The Beggsters! Quick easy find although a few muggles and a huge, orange, inquisitive cat! TFTC
Looked for it in the rain and couldn't see it.
Off to do some others and called back, still raining, and still a dnf.
Outsmarted by a 3 yo.

Went caching in the rain today but it was too wet to shake any bushes. Maybe another time.

Quick find with a little bit of help from a big brown dog.

Took nothing left TB.

Quick, if prickly, find. Muggle activity made this harder than i expected . TFTC !!!
A quick and easy find during my Lunchbreak. Took Nothing Left Army Man. TFTC
That was fun in the rain! TFTC. Took TB. Left pink ribbon. Joined by team scoobster.
Did a TB swap.. had a few I've been holding onto for too long!
Fittingly I dropped off Fly, Emily, Fly for my dear friends... (who dedicated this cache to me)
Took Firesafe coin

Searched a few likely spots. Discovered hundreds of edible mushrooms growing in one of these bushes. It took me a while to work out what they were!! Probably the nicest thing I've found whilst searching bushes. Found cache in the last place I looked. Grabbed a geocoin will wait a little while before I log it as user "snapper!!" has not logged it yet. Lovely day to be out caching and not working on a Monday.
A quick stop on my morning ride to work, I'm now having to work harder on these rides to preserve the close to home (< 10km) caches.
Dropping in DeltaEchos's firesafe GC to continue travels in fresh hands. (I incorrectly called it Crane2's firesafe GC in the cache log.)
Thanks emily~angel

Cache log maintenance a few weeks after the event. Found logged on the GPS unit when tidying files. The first few attempts at this were aborted due to muggles.
Search for a while until found by torch.... No swap. SL. Didnt see any coin in the cache... Thanks emily~angel for organising the cache and hunt.
Threw aside the GPS this time and just searched. I didn't realise what a popular little park this one was! TFTC.
Took teddy Bear key ring and left saddle club trading cards.

Had to wait for a bus whose driver was taking a break but one they had left it was a nice easy find. T- heart photo frame, L- heart key-ring
Good cache for the kids. My 6 year old found it and had a play in the park afterwards.
Playground is great and its well covered by a sun shade. Kids had an extra long play here as we waited out a bus (the buses wait nearby for many minutes), some muggles, another bus, then we made our find. Kids took an angel charm and lego block and left a crocodile sticker and a wombat magnet of course. Cheers.
Just cleaning up some old caches and discovered that I had not logged this one.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

This cache is one that I have been hunting for MONTHS – IT HAS SOME WIBBLE BUCKS IN IT [^]. And it was just enough to get me past the $50 mark for a coin. Whoo hoo [^] . Even the local Kindy across the road wasn’t going to put me off. I was a man on a mission.
The search was made very difficult by a curious kid watching our every move. Luckily I had young accomplice BantamCT as a decoy. Thanks for the cache emily~angel.
Find 45 of 50 in a two day caching run around Adelaide.
It sure was warm but I loved tracking down caches.
Thanks for providing fun in my Holidays.
Hey I know you what this doing here on the other side of town?
Oh yeah I remember when this came out.

Hello from the Parrots.
This was a lovely find in a neat little park, and the first cache we found today deserving of leaving a pathtag and some wibble bucks. There were people getting ready for tennis nearby (having to sweep the water off the courts today!) but no one near the playground so we were okay.
Sat. loc. was bad here today , so had to search around a bit before we found the cache. Fortunately, didn't get too wet.
Took Travel Bug. Left Pathtag. SL.
Thanks Emily~Angel (Wow - this one's a long way from home)!

We came. We Seeked , we found. Have I been here before [?] Not sure. Will I remember next time. As the car sticker says, Adventure before Dementia.
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
Yet another lovely park and playground. Found after a bit of a search, thinking "little" -definitely needed the gloves. Left The Beast Pizza eating TB and mini torch. TFTC
I must say it took me ages to find it because my gpsr was playing up. I was so happy when I found it. Nice park.
Thanks emily~angel for the cache.

A quick find while passig through.
I do a lot of carpentry work around this suburb so more caches nearby would be OK by me!!

Found at 17:47.
I spent many Saturday mornings here watching the boy play tennis. The dog even seemed to remember the place - at least she went and smelled the same spots she used to.

Find 768 My Way without a GPS at 1.15pm.
A quick an easy find.
Thanks emily~angel for the cache.

My initial thoughts were, "Oh no, not a school"...thankfully those fears were unfounded and the cache was found quickly, but not without getting stabbed in the fingers/hands first! TFTC.
Easy enough find once I followed the rather obvious big stick. Made for easy non-itchy retrieval also.
I think that the bush straight to the west would be an even worse choice, so I'm quite happy with this one
A quick find, with the aid of the stick that has been left by previoous finders for retreiving the cache. FInding this one at 21:30 on a Friday makes life easy as you really don't have to worry about kids on the play ground!

I have been made aware of the prickles on the bush, poor Heidi even had a reaction to them, so please be very careful on retrieving this cache and if it continues to be a problem I will move it a little bit further along.
Thanks for finding my cache, we are all so excited with our first hide.

Ah yes, I've encountered these bushes before. They can make your skin itch for hours
No such problem for me however as I used a conveniently located stick to retrieve the prize.
TNLNSL, Cheers.

I think I was fifth to sign the logbook
Yep very prinkly and i also used the stick to poke inside the bush
until I heard a plastic noise
not sure if this would be a 1 terrain as you need to go a metre or 2 into the garden bed, I can see a wheel chair getting bogged here
Happy birthday Heidi
Thanks Emily~Angel

Last night I was 50 minutes too late for gold. Today it was 30 minutes. At this stage I predict a virgin find on Saturday.
I had just arrived at GZ when a strolling man asked if that was GPS. Of course it is, and I have not found the cache.
We proceeded to look here and there. And then we found the cache in the first place we had looked. Must have been a man's look.
Great set of coords. Spot on to the metre. Well done.
