This needs maintenance - the sign has changed, D is definitely wrong, and another clue item doesn't exist. Can't be guessed really with 2 figures missing - could you please update the description to match the current sign, thanks.
Correctly guessed clue D and off to the final coords. Hints were correct and a quick find followed. Nice to be at the beach. TFTC
We must have got a co-ord wrong as we ended up about 30m away at what we thought was the right hint object. Much frustrated searching yielded nothing. Then B widened his search and voila! Some ambiguous puzzle clues, but overall TFTC.
Found after quite the search. Think we got D wrong, but even after seeing what the digit should be, can't get the number out of the map key. Anyway, TFTC
No joy here today. Coordinates I worked out were obviously wrong and had me heading out of the park to a very unlikely location.
Solved coordinates this morning and then tried to find the cache to no avail. After reading previous logs I extended my searh area and found a place which made the hints make sense. After that it was an easy find and sign. TFTC !
Managed to collect most of the numbers, but failed to answer one so experimented with a few different options and came up with a couple of spots to look. *Think* we managed to get the right location but couldn't find anything there
The signs have been changed around makes it hard to get the answers, found cache in the end! TFTC
There's a couple of questions that I wasn't sure about and I noticed that the information board in the photo looks different from whats actually there so I wonder if it's changed?
Well I came up with a possible location so we went to check it out. Lots of little trails leading to the spot but once there, nothing really matched up with the hint so didn't stay to search. Instead, I think we may have done the same as CaligulaNZ. An object about 50meters away looked promising and the hint worked perfectly! Very happy to see the cache right away

Got a little stumped as I had one wrong answer but sorted it out quick enough and then found it. Thanks for placing the cache.
#1192. YES, finally. The big one for me today. The last cache in the date hidden grid is now found. That's all 366 of them completed. Had set myself the challenge of getting this done before our first geocaching anniversary and did it with a week to spare. Rapt about that one. Mrs GSEL rechecked the coordinates and I went out to the park again today to search for the hide. The rejigged numbers didn't end up at a place that made much sense so went back to a spot I checked last time which at least makes more sense with respect to the hint. Well I searched and searched and nothing showed up. Was about to give it away when I saw the cache right in front of me (literally 30cm from my eyes). How on earth did I miss that last time and this time. Can only blame the sun in my eyes. I guess that's what happens when you have preconceived ideas about hides. So signed the log and all returned as found. Awesome. TFTC bkj97.
Hmmmmm, I got there in the end, but my conversion of the hints to coordinates put me up in a strange spot ... and from that point, after a bit of a fetch around, I spotted something in the near-distance that kinda matched the hint. Moved myself 40-or-so metres, and checked for muggles, before making a super-quick find. Really pleased to convert what was looking like a mis-calculation into a really pleasing find!
Funny thing happened on the way back to my car - busy looking down at my device and reached for the car door handle, and as I opened it the car began to beep, and a strange smell asailed my nostrils. Doh! Not my car! A silver wagon similar to mine, and 50 metres from mine. To top it off a dog-walking muggle had spotted my error ... and was cracking up laughing at the embarrassed look on my face.
TFTC!

Clearly stuffed up one or more answers as both places I searched had nothing that made any sense with the hints. Oh well plenty of time to check it again some stage. Haven't been to this park access point before.
With Yosser 9, at the start of our day of caching in Queen Elizabeth Park. We had to go back and check our numbers ... in our initial enthusiasm to get going, some of the instructions had been misread, but once we'd rectified the errors, it was plain sailing. TFTC!
First cache of the day so in my haste I goofed up some of the numbers but after returning and taking more care, got the right co-ordinates and were on our way. Set us on our way for a satisfying walk around QE Park. Thanks
Likes other have mentioned, I ended up with some coordinates that didn't seem right as there was nothing in the vicinity that matched the hint. However, casting my eyes around I spotted something that potentially matched the hint and headed towards the location. A short search later and found the nicely located hide. Eighth of my personal "15 caches for 15 years of geocaching" challenge for today. TFTC
Went for a walk and found once we got the 2nd lot of coordinates right we found very quickly
While friends went for a swim, walked to the info board. Then back almost the way I had come to get the cache!. TFTC and the puzzle. Good hide.
Cool little puzzle and nice quick find today while down in Paekak knocking off a few Multi's. Loved the final container too. SLTFTC
What a crafty hide. Stealth required retrieving it, lots of muggles around picnicking - some hardy souls swimming. What a great spot to visit. Tftc.
Cool, co's wrong first time around, symbol count could have been one of two options. We choose the wrong one and ended up at top of small hill. Found after suplimenting one digit for second option. Found with Jax479 & Oldboy999 TFTC
One of the pamplets on the information board had what was obviously someone else's attempt to solve the puzzle. We solved and matched them. Yay! Wandered off to locate the cache but just couldn't find and couldn't make sense of the hints. A substitution based on one figure that had two possible answers and everything fell I to place. Nice one. With metal-art.
TFTC. Joint information gathering exercise, but Nic-Jay did the honours with the find today.
Found on an afternoon's trip over the hill with Infoferret. I had tried for this one a few months ago but went wrong with my calculations. The team effort came up trumps today. While Infoferret checked out the nearby amenities, I wandered over to GZ and tried to look like I was enjoying the view from right next to the cache as there were a few muggles wandering around. This did take some skill, I might add! TFTC
Ended up with two coordinates after some disagreement over the canoe clue but one of them was correct! Cunning cache. TFTC
A bit of a puzzler to get us all woken up on a sleepy Sunday. Casual and confounding all at the same time.
Cache in order, log signed; all re-hidden just as found.
Nifty bit of a hide this one. Some muggle dodging involved.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Tftc. Left some Bitcoin at 16ehAyFspYpMvDpLkwxcymzop4LJ7NzeXp. Also found the canoe clue hard but just mapped out the obvious one and found it easy
Had trouble finding the 'canoe', so plotted some likely coords in the geocaching map app and went for a last beach stroll. Found somewhere that the hints made sense and was rewarded with a quick find of the cache. Last one for my Paekok Camping trip with my guide unit.
Thanks very much for this cache. We really enjoyed this one. The clues were fun to work out. Every one got to have a turn. Great maths practice for the little ones. The coordinates were probably the most accurate we have ever had and satisfying finding our goal at the end.
Worked out what I thought was right of the Info Board.
Got to the top of a small hill, and nadda.
Looked and looked but nadda !
Bugga, another 'to return too" !

We just stumbled across this cache in the middle of the stream in Queen Elizabeth Park by the bridge. Will put the remnants in a bag and place it back in the original locale.
Must have got something wrong as we could not locate the cache. And now it is raining hard so not keen to stay any longer.
After some alterations to our numbers cache located. Log needs replaced as now only wet pulp. TFTC
Found quickly, while with Jimbob999 replacing the logbook. Thanks for the cache!
Cache #1,043 - had a bit of a head scratcher at the board, as one of the items just didn't want to appear (finally figured it out, but it is a stretch), and a second one had two interpretations depending on how you viewed it. Went to the general vicinity (with two possible locations) but the hint made it obvious where it would be. Found the cache just as the rain started to pelt down. Signed it (logbook wet) and retreated to the car. Thanks! Did with Violet Butterfly.
A quick solve of the puzzle then a pleasant walk to the final location. Final co-ordinates spot on. Cache quite wet inside. Log book damp but stil usuable. TFTC!
Thanks for heads up on the signage change. Will check out and amend next time I'm in the park.
It looks like the signs have been replaced recently and no longer match the questions
Absolutely the kids favourite spot for a play at the beach. Thanks for giving us another reason to stop in this marvelous spot. TFTC
Found Last Weekend, Quick Find Although Took Awhile As Caching Partner Went Drift Wood Hunting While Signing Log. TFTC
3.50pm. Good to get everything right first time! Nice hide too. Fav. point from me.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
We had DNFed this last year, but today it was a quick find in the obvious place. I think last time we were convinced it was muggled after finding boxhill's calling card plus other cache items on the ground, and hadn't searched well enough after that.
Always good to deal to unfinished business. TFTC.

#3870. Good to find this one on our second visit (well spotted by Troodles). Log damp (container may no longer be water tight). TFTC.
Cool find. A few muggles around but we pretended to be collecting driftwood! TFTC
Had our Big Day Out Office BBQ today about 200m away from this cache, so took Buttles, MyCroMan and two muggles along to find this one.. Well hidden and took a while to find. Thanks for the cache..
Enjoyed reading the sign boards as we got the information to solve the Wainui Picnic Puzzle. No problems with muggles on this early sunday morning and we were able to make a quick find at GZ. Thanks for another enjoyable multi.

In response to last finder have re-enabled cache. Hope to check in next couple of days just in case(weather permitting)
Went to check this spot out despite the note, and was pleasantly surprized to find the cache in perfect condition. Love how this was hidden. TFTC.
Had a good look where we thought it would be (and when we decoded the hint it seemed we were in the right place). COuld not locate the cache, but we did find a couple of calling cards (including one from box hill). Hmmm; not good. Suggest an owner check!!!
Took a while to find, must have passed over the location several times! Great beach today with crashing surf and lots of spray. Enjoyable multi thanks. TFTC
It took longer to find the final than it should have, I was in the right spot and was pretty confident it was there.
Wasn't so sure if I had got all the numbers right, but there it was. Nice final.
Greetings, chilifarmer

Did the first half of this, then "Beached as Bro", before heading for the final.
2/8 for a days family geocaching at QE Park.

A nice easy find, very clever hide. Some muggles about but they all had their backs to us.
We think we were in the right place, but plenty of muggles about. We'll come back on a quieter day!
Find #374 - A quick find after we worked out the questions from the information board. Very gloomy today, low cloud everywhere - and oh so humid! We made the mistake of trusting the GPS compass - in QEII park it's especially bad, lots of trails and paths leading in every direction. Best to just stick to the road. All made for a good exercise though!!! Found the cache pretty quickly, a nice geotrail lead straight to the cache - and we knew it wouldn't be on the ground!!! SL TFTC.
another enjoyable multi, a little damp in container but gave it a good dry out tftc
Second of eight finds on an afternoon ramble with Papakowhai6. This was made all the more tricky by my inability to read numbers . Sorry about that Papkowhai6! Got there in the end! Great hide. Contents a bit damp. Replaced the plastic bag that the log was in to one without holes.
Another lovely walk in the park a nice day out for the kids, it took us quite a while to find this one, ended up having to go back for a second look but finally found it in the end
Couldn't find it at first, went for food and picnic and play on park. Renewed energy and found it. TFTC
Completed the required series of questions and ambled over in the direction the GPSr was pointing. After a nice stroll through the park came upon the appropriate location, and a great view. After a short search had the cache to hand. On opening, discovered quite a bit of water inside. Fortunately the log was still dry. Dried out everything with the sun streaming in. TFTC. (Found with Kiwileo)
Jr taybee has this own account how am logging this old find under his new Username (Jr taybee) was log as part of taybee team
Enjoyed my visit, a really nice spot and despite recent storms it turned out to be a great day, should of packed a picnic!

Clever hide, but a quick find nonetheless. Luckily muggles moved away before we got to the final. Took blue necklace, left smiley face sticker.

Worked out the coords easily, but finding the cache took a little longer - we were searching a bit too hard! Great clues! Took hair slide, left weetbix flicker card. Signed a separate piece of paper as log book is soggy. TFTC
Found with the help of our pre-school granddaughters who also enjoyed the playground. Relieved that our answers were correct and the hints soon made sense when approaching GZ. The log book is still very wet so signed the extra piece of paper that has been placed in the container. This is a great area to visit, thanks.
The log book is very wet and unwriteable. I placed it in a new plastic bag I had with me - hopefully this will keep it safe until the owner can get to it.
#426. Had a crack at this one a while ago and managed to calculate the wrong GZ and spent a fair amount of time searching a fair distance away from the actual location. Went back today and recalculated the final, no probs once we got there. Unfortunately the log book is extremely wet, left a note instead of signing the log. TFTC. -paua shell, -magnet, +dino + matchbox.
