I was out with Pazzabella and her 2 geodogs and had just found the cache, logged it and replaced it when a muggle and dog walked past and we suddenly realised we were missing 2 dogs. The lure to explore had been too much for them while we were searching for the cache. One returned straight away when called but the other had other ideas and we had a few heart pounding moments before he finally decided to return.
While Merlot and I were looking for the cache, Ricki (the geodog) decided to go looking for rabbits. As we had to get to a meeting of geocachers in 15mns, I was less than impressed with Ricki when he still hadn't found what he was looking for. Fortunately me and Merlot did find what we were looking for, and even more fortunately, that also included Ricki. Now.... we only have 10mins left to climb those stairs back to the car... Cache in great condition [^]
Great walk with lots of stairs. Mr R seems to do well with these caches. Maybe he's a bit of a Troll! Tftc.
Took a while for us to find this one, phones had us bouncing about a bit. Last one in the reserve for us. TFTC
After finding another cache or two in this reserve, Team BMMR, HeMaLuDy and myself and little Miss NewlynFam decided to venture a bit further in and find another cache. Got to GZ, and began the search, but had to stop a couple of times to let muggles past (this took some time, as the kids of the group had to give their accompanying dogs lots of love first!!!)
It was pretty squishy underfoot at GZ, but a determined Mr Team BMMR soon had the cache in hand.
It was a good sized container, so we added some swag as we signed the log.
Thanks for the walk in the bush!

Found as a minimob with NewlynFam, HeMaLuDy, darthcacher1 & purply. Much searching with torches was had, plenty of stopping searching and waiting for muggles to pass (busy little track this one!!). Finally B came up with the goods. Log signed and we all added swag to the empty container. Thanks for bringing us deeper into this lovely little rerserve TFTC!
Out for a spot of caching with darthcacher1, purply, TeamBMMR, and Newlynfam. Took a while to find this one as we needed to keep stopping, take photos, etc as muggles came past - but we had some lovely conversations with strangers as they did pass. Eventually Mr BMMR made the find, with the number of people searching it was only a matter of time before it was in hand. Thanks for the cache here.
Tftc. Boy it was a swelteringly humid day today & I've walked up & down too many steps trying to convince my GPS that we were going in the right direction but patience prevailed & finally had the cache in hand.
After collecting a FTF at the nearby Big Bertha cache we set about finding the other caches in this reserve.
Lovely bush walk soon had us at gz and a quick find was made. Another fantastic city reserve we have never visited before. TFTC

An enjoyable bush walk to this cache. The cache was quickly found but everything was soaking wet inside. I removed everything from the cache as it was just all a soggy mess and in the original container I have placed another container with a dry, fresh log - you're welcome.

I was in the area for another reason today and had a bit of time to kill afterwards, so decided to pick up a few nearby caches. Enjoyed the short stroll down to GZ, where the cache was quickly found after waiting for a dog walking muggle to clear the area. Contents were very wet, so I was unable to sign any of the logs and unfortunately I wasn't carrying any supplies - I took a photo of the cache just in case. TFTC!

Out and about getting some local caches. Quick find while enjoying the sunshine. Tftc
I wish I had read the logs more recently than many months ago when I loaded the cache into the GPS because the cache was very, very wet and we had no proper means with us to dry things out. I used a piece of paper from my notebook but I doubt it will stay dry for long. Thanks KiwiLeon for bringing us to this reserve and giving us a useful workout as well, quite a few steps! We were concentrating so much on dealing with the cache that we did not notice a Muggle passing by but only heard his (or her) footsteps above. TFTC
Logs were wet, sorry I only had a scrap of paper to add. Lots of muggles around but a nice spot to wait for the right moment to search. Tftc
Found ... Mrs McMike2012 & I decided to check out some of the reserves on the Eastern side of town & pick up a few caches ... we had parked at the bottom of the reserve & walked up to the top car park ... and then down one of the bush tracks ... soon had the cache in hand ... signed off & returned. The log book was very wet. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #732 for us.
Nice cache, thanks. Contents, including logbook, a bit damp, but was able to sign my name.
Contents were very soggy and the latest log sheet is also starting to get very damp even in two ziplock bags, I think a more waterproof container is needed, TFTC
Boy what a steep climb going down! Even more effort getting back up those steep, steep stairs.
Gps wobbly under the trees, but the hint helped. Sadly cache rather soggy inside . Great park for a new adventure!
Had some time before meeting a friend for lunch at Botany so thought I would grab Point View Reserve, gorgeous morning for a walk and the tui's were singing and darting in the trees, however after walking down, what seemed like a million stairs, the GPS indicated I was getting further away, not closer!. realising I was on the wrong track decided to give up and was making my way back up the stairs when I decided to check the cache map for other caches in the area (didnt want to leave empty handed!)
Bingo, 60m back down the steps and cache quickly in hand . As per other logs the cache is very wet, left a new log sheet in the cache in the interim. Funnily enough I couldnt hear the Tui's on the way up the stairs, must have been my heavy breathing - yep, pretty sure it was a million stairs! whew!! TFTC

Found with the kids whilst out exploring. We hadn't been here before and really enjoyed the park. Lost accuracy under the canopy cover but the cache hunting senses were good today and we located it before long. The log booked is saturated and will need replacing - there's also quite a bit of moisture in the cache itself. Thanks for bringing us here!
With all the recent rain, the cache top was a lake. There was some water inside, and the log was soaked. XNSL. TFTC.
luckily we found it without signal thanks to the hint, logbook pretty wet TFTC
Found where it was expected to be after a bit of looking. Cache totally waterlogged
Hidden well. Was where expected but not obvious.
Wet contents, better sealed container recommended.

A big fat spider welcomed us to the cache. My 9 year old brother replaced the cache with fear, but did it!! TFTC
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Loved this little walkway. Have never been to this reserve but thought we would check a few out in the area. Approaching GZ and had an idea of where it was but had my sunnies on as my glasses were in the car so couldnt see too well - take them off and its not dark but is very blurry or keep on and all clear but too dark to see - argh silly me. Tell kids where to look and they insist its not there and so on the search goes.... Getting very frustrated with the situation I climb down and just feel around and hey whats that I feel - oh the cache just sitting exactly where I said it would be!!! Thanks for this walk I will definitely come here again its so peaceful.
Took a couple of goes to find this one. Really helps of you have the correct clues for the coordinates. The log book is a bit damp, but still useable with care. TFTC.
Luckily I managed to find this one easy enough as it was at the coordinates and in a logical place. The log sheet was slightly damp but easily usable...TFTC
Lovely walk! A nice guy we ran into told us of a waterfall nearby so off to found it. Cache is a bit wet but we had nothing to clean it up with. TTFC
Nice quit place a bit muddy, cache was were I expected to be , Beatifull place, most enjoyable , TFTC

The 2nd of 3 caches that bought us to this reserve. A nice area, a bit muddy after the recent rain but definitely a place we will be coming back to. TFTC
This one took a lot longer to find than it should of!
We were determined to find the cache however, as we had walked down several sets of stairs and were in agreement we were not walking back up the hill unsuccessful!
After a bit of mud and a few scratches, cache was soon in hand!

Thanks KiwiLeon for the cache,

Was going past during our exploration of the Amazonian Rain Forest, so checked it out again. Rather waterlogged but still well hidden. The minicacherette swapped some swag...
squeezing in a run after work while daylight still allows! Had a fair idea what I was looking for (fortunately, as phone was about to die, so couldn't rely on that for help), quick grab in between passing muggles. TFTC
Took a while to find this as the GPS had us in the wrong place. But we found it. TFTC!!!
Hi. Log sheet very wet. Have replaced with spare log and dry bag. Hope that is ok. Have left old log/bag in cache. Might need a more secure container.

Found easily, the huge black spider attached to the bottom made me jump though as it scurried off into the undergrowth.
Dad and the boys (JacktheAllBlack (8yo) and 4YO) had another morning of caching lined up, this time at the Point View Reserve. This is an awesome spot new to us despite having lived in the general area for about 10 years!
JackTheAllBlack found this one pretty quickly after Dad said "stick your head under there and have a look". Success. TFTC.
BTW log quite damp.

Out and about enjoying another day in Auckland. Lovely reserve to wonder in thanks.
Did this one just before it got dark and in the rain. Has no pen in and it very water logged.
Unfortunately the cache is water logged and the log book very wet. Although I emptied out the water and dried the cache the best I could, maintenance is required - A new logbook is probably required.
It was Father's Day and one of my presents was to collect some geocaches while out for an afternoon drive. This was the first time I had ever been to this reserve and it was truly rewarding. After collecting another cache in this reserve this one just had to be collected. Although the GPSr was jumping around a bit under the trees, this was a straight forward find. However the cache was unfortunately water logged and needs a bit of maintenance. Although I tried to repair this as much as possible by emptying the water etc., some maintenance is required. As such I'll log a maintenance.
Anyway TFTC and for giving me a reason to visit this fantastic location.

Out for a Sunday walk with the family. Youngest member of the GreenbLat team found it. T4TC
Nice spot. A huge spider had made it's home on cache! Once we moved him along, log was signed and sealed. Lovely area. TFTC, PAHINA'S
great place...found it on our second attempt...we picked up the travelling M&M and left behind a parachute soldier...TFTF
Just out for some bush running and found this great lil cache....was carrying a landshark gecko coin given to me by cat's meow in Virginia...and decided this cache was the perfect place for him...lets just see how far this lil gecko can make it...
A nice walk and an easy find although with the rain everything was very slippery ...TFTC
Nice quick find here thanks to the good hint! Swapped TBs. Cool spot for a cache. TFTC!
Didn't knew that such a nice area is here. Done the walk from the south with our doggies. Thanks for the Cache. Left TB
Clue number 1, listen to wife and follow clearly marked path. Nice easy find. Cache a bit wet tho.. TNLN TFTC
GPSr was all over the show. Now where would I put one?????????? Havnt got a clue. Oh there is a hint???? Gotcha. Easy when you think about it.
Had a nice stroll down the path this afternoon particularly as the vegetation provided ample shelter from the passing showers. GPS was certainly a little lost at GZ nevertheless the cache was found with ease. Unfortunately there was some 200mL of water inside. I dried the container to the best of my ability however the log will need replacing. I rescued the Jeep TB before the water got inside of it's bag as rust is the enemy of any vehicle. TFTC.
Took dog, kids and wife to reserve - GPS in pocket
Took the girls to GZ
Quite wet on inside - might return with towel...
End of a stunning day - TFTC
