Streak Day 174
We were visiting Dad (Super Pop as the great grandkids call him) and we decided to cross the border and have a days caching in Mt Gambier.
This is the first for the day and a great way to start. We always enjoy cemetery caches because of the history located here and this one was no exception. With three pairs of eyes looking the information was gathered quickly, the calculations done and we were soon on our way to gz where the cache was located right where the GPSr was pointing. Our names are now in the log.
Many thanks jgc3 for setting up this multi.

We ventured to Nelson this morning with Alansee to do some of the caches which we knew we would enjoy in this scenic location and we were not disappointed. We encountered emus and kangaroos on the forest tracks but luckily not too close up We found a variety of hides and thanks to jgc3 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
A lovely spot, and the multi was nice and easy.
CP had guessed where gz was,
but we had to search a bit harder to find the cache.
Thanks for bringing us here jgc3

Completed with clare007. Worked things out .............................. then took us a few minutes to spot!!
Our last day at Mount Gambier, before heading east, to catch up with muggle friends.
After lunch, we drove south to Nelson for some sightseeing and caching.
Lots of nice country to drive through, and we found a good variety of hides.
Stopped to read the plaques and then did some calculations.
Cache was located after a short search, signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, jgc3, for us and others to find.

For some reason I thought this was a nature walk... turns out not quite so much. A quick grab of the numbers with the roos looking on, and then when we couldn't find the hide where our numbers put us, we went to the most logical spot, and there it was. Thanks for bringing us here, love these caches.
After having tea with fellow cachers, Geomum & Geodad decided the night before that we would head out & have a family caching day today. We had saved a fair few into our phones for the day. This was the third one on our list. We had just stopped in at BP for coffees & snacks & then made our way here. We collected all the information we needed and was able to locate the cache. Geoson3 found this one today quick & easy. Its so interesting seeing these kind of places & learning about the history. TFTC
Our first puzzle success!!! Relatively easy to find but hard to open. The paper needs to be replaced - had nothing small enough.

Great little place as leading up to ANZAC DAY able to explain abit of history to my Geo son while others sleeping in TNLN SL TFTC
Found by good luck. we couldnt find anything even close to a cache at the 2nd way point.
either that or the Coords are way off.
found cache by thinking where would we hide a nano here.. and quickly had it in hand. had a heap of trouble getting the log out of the container....
great spot, but the multi->cache part caused us some greif

Found on day 3 of our Mt Gambier trip. A very pleasant day caching with mogni.
We met up with SkipJay at this one. We completed the questions and we were all looking at the same area. SkipJay decided they needed to start their walk back to home base, but we continued on.
The hint has to be changed as it is quite misleading. It delayed us for some time until we worked out from previous logs to ignore the hint. Eventually Mr M made the find.

We quickly found all of the answers, but were challenged by magnet. A bit mor hunting and we came up with the goods.
I didn't realise I was looking for a nano, found a small container at the co-ordinates I worked out and signed the log in it. Is the hint outdated now? Some sad stories here but I guess that is true of all cemeteries. TFTC
When Labchick and I tried to find this the other day, the GPSr took us to a spot we didn't want to explore further. When I came back here to do the Munzee today, I decided to have another look and this time the arrow pointed straight and true for a quick find. Great little cemetery and good to make the find after all! Cache #1,492.
Monday at BLE and after packing up, Dennisc52 and I left the campsite and parked his car. Well, mine was already dusty and dirty and his was still clean
Dennisc52 and I managed to achieve locus cache 25 times before we parted company and took separate routes back to Adelaide.
However I hung around Nelson for a bit longer and so, by the time that I stopped at Millicent for the night, I had gathered up another 19 locus cache smileys (with 1 DNF ), making this a 45 cache day [^]
Luckily for me, Dennisc52 does not think I am a jinx at multis like another geocacher does
So we stopped here and very soon had a smiley for our efforts in this pretty little spot!
I really did tread carefully too.....walking on graves is unusual

Found on our BIG Little Event trip. A very nice little cemetary. A short multi to do in the morning with a nice easy find. Good hide. Great cache. TFTC!
Found while with Cabbos for the BLE event. Cabbos had already found it so I got to cheat a little.
Found this neat cache during BIG little EVENT. Our thanks go out to all involved in the event and to all who have placed caches for the event.
Our apologize for the late logs, and the boilplate plate logs.
Due to events happening in our lives just after the event, the logging had to be put on hold until now.
We had a fantastic time, met some new caches and even bumped into a few old ones from afar.
Many, many thanks to all involved.

On day 2 of the BLE we came upon this cache at the same time as another team! We completed the questions together to get the coordinates for the final gz but then Bon and Ben turned their backs and waited until the other team had finished to make the find themselves! You can't imagine how FRUSTRATED we were when we COULD NOT FIND IT! They seemed to find it and disappear within a minute and we spent at least 15 minutes trying to find it! They hid it back so well! We almost gave up haha! tftc jgc3!

We're in Nelson for the Big Little Event over the weekend.
As we're staying not too far from this cache I ducked out after tea to find this and another one along this road.
Clues gathered at the required WP's then a short walk to GZ for a quick find. My memory of the cache notes made comment about a nano sized cache. I then found the nano and read a note inside stating the cache container had been relocated and upsized.
Thank you jgc3.

A fantastic little stroll around the stones
Nice to see a more modern stone village too [^]
All the interees here didn't cark it that long ago
So I could relate to the dates !!
With all the answers to hand, I trod carefully to avoid sending any of the really important residents of this area to an early grave, and found the cache

In Town for the BLE. On the road with jcody, Cracka1 and S4phire. Straight forward solution to the puzzle and a quick find of the nano, but the final location took a little cautious looking with corrugated iron lying near GZ and a concern about slithery locals.
After some helpful advise we returned to the scene of the crime to have another shot at this one.
This time we came up a winner.
Taylor how many people were killed in action back to school with you,
Met a new geocaching team and had a chat.

After registering at the BLE tent around noon, it was time to head out and indulge in some more caching in this virgin caching territory!
I arrived quietly,
Gathered the information carefully,
Crunched the numbers subtly, three times,
Found the nano steathily, and then found the cache at almost the coords I had calculated! lol
TNLNSL
Thanks, and a good idea to have the 3rd WP for the weekend, to save the scroll on the damn nano.
"The world should ban nanos, and burn the nano factory down" .... The words of a fellow cacher back home....

#3497 When we arrived at the starting co-ords there was another couple sitting in their car - after a brief chat we got on with the information collection and enjoying the history of the location. Dad located the cache location but did it discreetly so that the other caching team could locate it on their own accord - nice to meet you Bon and Ben. A nice little multi that was laid out with great respect in relation to the location, well done jgc3 [^]

It would seem we did not tread carefully enough on our first visit, as we had to return to ensure the log was signed and also to learn more about the flowers we saw at Even Moores cache.

Doing a run around Nelson getting the BLE series thanks for the caches and effort organisers.
Is it sad to say i enjoy these locations. Found on this glorious Saturday. What better thing is there to be doing today? Thanks for bringing us here.
For some reason we got confused by this cache and only half did it, so we had to return to finish it off! We were in the company of pprass and phetlern. TFTC.
Arrived at this location, scanned the mystery munzee and found several other teams already with the cache in hand. Quickly signed log and was away. Thanks.
Found with Mishion during Big Little Event @ Nelson. Joined by Qasar as we signed the log. TFTC
After we read the clue, we rechecked our answers, but were still not having any luck, so we just went for a logical place and found the nano with the revised coordinates, but had no luck finding the final container.
It is a shame that the orchids were not in flower now, but may be it is for the best with all the visitors due this weekend. Good to have them identified too as the Feather Heads are blooming near by. TFTC. A very thoughtful place.
Short easy multi cache, answered all the question.
Didn't take long and had cache in hand signed the log
and on our way back home to Mt Gambier.

Hiya JGC3! Fantastic Multi, Magnificent location. It is lovely to see little places like this, places I would not of known if it wasn't for Geocaching. Fantastic history and information. No flowers out today sadly but still such a beautiful, serene place. Thanks for bringing us out here
