Made quick work of the numbers, however couldn't turn up a cache. Re-did the numbers again, yep, they were correct. More hunting, and then finally the Moose turned up the hide. Thanks for showing us this area, a great little history lesson on Tarpeena.
A nice little stop and as the description says, with some good artwork to view. Clues led us around the area and soon the cache was signed. Added a log sheet as the existing one was running out of space. TFTC
Geowife and I enjoyed this quick multi cache. A few muggles about today
Butility managed to complete it.

Thanks for the local history. Some great artwork here and the kids enjoyed playing on the playground. Nice to get out and stretch the legs. Tftc sl.

We stopped here for a toilet break and leg stretch. and then set off to find this cache and then realised we'd just left it so U-turn and back we went to find the clues before making an easy find.
Thanks
Thanks
Found it, not where we were expecting it to be. Didn't realise there were so many plaques.
8111 A very convenient spot for a stopover and fun multi, found whilst making our way to Adelaide.
Thanks for the cache and local history lesson jgc3

We made this an unscheduled stop due to Mrs O needing a powernap. As we were in two cars, Mr O let Sir Maxy run amok in the playground while he gathered the info. With that done, it was off to GZ...only to find that a *&%@*ing nano had been hidden where something more substantial would be better suited. Sometimes a nano is warranted for certain positions - this isn't one of them. Talk about an anticlimax to what was otherwise a good multi! At least Sir Maxy had fun. TFTC.
I had lots of fun running around in the wet playground while Daddy did all the hard work. He brought the cache over. It's very little, just like me! . TFTC.
Great little multi, first for the day on our Saturday drive with team EdwardsAus.

finally got this on the second visit - we still couldn't find Margaret Medhurst's plaque, but an educated guess had us looking in the right spot for the cache! TFTC!! mandikaye
The funny events of geocaching. Today we decided to drop by this cache and replace it with a fresh new one as a few cachers had trouble opening it (rusted)
Arriving near GZ we noticed some vehicles nearby. So we walked around and then noticed these "muggles" had papers and perhaps a GPS!
After a while we all realised that we both were probably geocachers.. and they weren't muggles after all. So we left "cabbos" to finish doing the clues and once at GZ and not finding the original log any where. They happily signed our replacement cache and we were all on our way. Thanks for doing our cache and nice to meet some fellow caches... but the story continues...

i love geocaching....we were on a mission today to reach our 200th cache find....we returned to this multi with geo grandchildren...geodaughter and geoson/law to 'get it' this time....Realising we weren't alone whilst doing our 'sums' ...we were thinking ...? these 'muggles' and 'muggle dogs' ....could also be geocaches...??? so decided to approach and say hi..! Imagine our surprise when these...'muggles' were the cache owners....Was great to meet fellow cachers and have a chat....this time we got the co ords right.... but...? the cache had disappeared....We happily signed new one which owners were there to replace and set off to get our 200...! enjoyed this multi....thanks jgc3...nice meeting you
Found by Mary & David at 1040. A pity that two of the murals are gone. Really enjoyed the chance to stretch our legs and look around. A lot of passing traffic for a Sunday. A dog obedience class out on the oval as well. Our thanks to jgc3.
Sad to see a couple of the pictures are now missing, but that didn't impact on solving the multi.
I have never liked nanos & now I have one more reason to dislike them - this is the first I have come across where the container was corroded shut & even after scratching off some of the corrosion I was unable to open the cache without first enlisting the assistance of a workshop of tools at my niece's place. Finally got the little blighter open, signed the log & gave it a little lubrication to assist future finders - there should be no excuse now for not signing the log! TFTC.

Tealby and I had an interesting time scouting around the plaques to find the required information and then tracked down where GZ was. Took some time to find the little blighter and then found it impossible to open. So we decided to take it with us to a friends place and use a bit of lubrication and a couple of spanners to get it apart - success! - then gave it a good oiling before putting it back together again and then returned it to its possie. Hopefully no one came by in the meantime? Thanks for the hunt jgc3.

After spending the night at Naracoorte with Super Pop we were doing a few caches on the way back to Portland and this was the seventh of the day. This was a lovely little rest stop and we really enjoyed the murals. We ran into a local who said that they have been up for over 10 years, it's great to see that they haven't been defaced. Like others we had trouble finding Margaret but once that was sorted out the cache was soon in hand
Thanks jgc3 for the cache and for bringing us here

Great little multi and we loved the murals [^]. Took a while to find the Margaret Medhurst plaque, but that was the only hiccup. Final location was where we expected it to be, but it took a few minutes to nail the little sucker. Thanks for the distraction [:D
A nice stop in a quiet town. The oval was occupied by a lazy game of cricket, but that was the only thing moving here this afternoon.
I walked around collecting information, only got stuck trying to find one of the plaques. I thought how hard can it be, they have named the park after her!
Eventually changed glasses, and I was back on track.
Thanks, Robmc.

Out and about with The Wild Gang and team Scallywag on this beautiful Australia Day!!! To nice to stay at home so we came for a drive. TFTC and the History lesson kids really the stop and got a few free rides from the Australia Day celebrations that were going on on the oval. Hence all muggles were more interested in other goings on. LOL.
Happy Australia Day!!!

See The Rhyan Clan's Log but had an awesome play and free rides to boot. Thanks for bringing us here.
Finally got this one done as it was such a nice day i couldn't stay at home any longer. So went for a bit of a drive, and found the necessary clues and found the cache. A neat little hide.

We found it easy to find all the sections of the multi cache except for the Margaret Medhurst part. We found it quite easy after we got off of the seat and turned around. TFTC.
I loved the little pictures. I can't post here though. We should have guessed the location. It had to be there but we still went thru the exercises. [:0]
Clear skies!
Looks like we can claim 3rd place. Had to wait for the muggles to pack up their stalls before we could go and search out the clues. With all the answers we waited until the muggles left, quick find, sign log and departed the car park.
Cheers for this

My mistake, found on the 17th at approximately 0930hrs have got silver within minutes of a FTFinder it really leaves you with an empty feeling, good to get an FTF though.
I saw, I went, I conquered. My apologies to old Julius Caeser . but this time a First to Find. The cache is quite informative and the murals most interesting. TFTCSL
Left Adelaide @ 6am got to GZ @ about 11am , signed it @ 11:20am I had to wait for some muggles to leave,
then while getting the info from the plaques a muggle noticed me jotting down notes onto the pad paper, she asked if i wanted some help and we got talking about the murals
I got all the answers but it took me a while to work out were it was hidden
I let my fingers do all the walking which made the find
Open the scroll and found I got silver , yrrag's log dated the 16th so not sure what time he found it if it was the 17th
The Murals were fantastic,
We have pasted this town many times and never noticed this here.
Thanks jgc3
