My last day on the island, and work finished up late last night so I had today free. Unfortunately the heavy rain from Thursday continued into Friday so I couldn't spend as much of the day geocaching as I wanted to. A big thanks to all the hiders on the island and hopefully I'll be able to grab another group the next time I'm out here for work. TFTC

Looked and looked but no luck.

Am leaving for the states in a few days, so went on a small trip to some of my favorite places on island. Took my time and I searched for awhile but nothing turned up for me. Still enjoyed my time here, though.

A fun one but needs serious attention at this time as container is damaged and logsheet is inaccessible.

Found the cache but unfortunately it requires a person with much longer and skinnier fingers than I or at the very least, maybe a pair of needle nose pliers. In any case I had neither so I couldn't retrieve and sign the log... So how do I know I actually found the cache? I took the time to F-stop and think about it and recognized the end of it.

Second try and we finally found it! I think this cache would be an easy daytime cache but it was tough as a night cache.

Hard find in the dark. Left a little something for the next cacher. Cool log book.

Awesome cache

This is absolutely one of the most genius ideas for a cache log I have ever seen! I expected the container, but the log just blew me away when I saw it. This one is a favorite for sure!

Cute cache. Spent the time waiting for the rain to slow down so we could return it to its hiding place.

Hardest part was waiting to the rain to at least slow down enough to grab it and then return it. Great idea.

Went to replace today and lo and behold it's still there. Enjoy!

Used my own way to get the log out. Tape the end of my pen and walla. Nifty log and cache I must say.

Clever cache!! I had a hunch we were looking for that exact item. Great execution on the logbook, everybody loved it! If no one has a coat hanger around..(We didnt), a pair of chopsticks work just as well. While we were getting the cache, a family nearby shot off a rocket into the sky. Thanks for the cache! Found this one early this morning 0430, but couldn't get it out until tonight, I recommend caring an 8" piece of coat hanger with a .25" "hook" on the end. this may save a few pens, and you never know when it may come in handy. Thanks!

OK...
so it was an easy find
BUT
it took 10 minutes, ruined a pen, and made a mess on my hands just to get it out of it's hidey hole;
THEN
after logging, it took another 15 minutes to get the log back in the container!
FINALLY
done and off we go!

Cache was placed in the wrong area. It took me a while to get it out but I did. Its in the right place now. Enjoy.

Subqm1 tried to get it out, but couldn't so I didn't get to sign the log.

This was a good easy grab. Geo-princess got her finger smashed in the Geo-jeep door due to the wind. Other than this unfortunate event, this was fun!

Awesome container! Found this cache with Aaron671 and DTRON on our way to Malesso. I gave the kids the GPS and let them go at it. Before I could catch up, they had the cache in hand. TFTC!

aaaahhhh yesssss!!! finally got around to strolling towards this direction. After checking out the Port for some kind of fishing things, zee husband and I took some time off to look for this sweet thang. As we browsed around got to 5 ft, den 6 ft den 10 ft, I was about going bunkers cause my funky gps wasn't going to let up on me due to the long delay on not attending to her in a few weeks lol, anyhow, backed up hit 4ft, den gz yeyyyy.. ok... where's it now??? I looked and looked den realized what the cache is telling me, oohhhhh.. ok... not here.. mmm, is it here?? nooperssss.. ohhh man I say to husband it's not here! darn it.. but, wait he decides to join in on the hunt for this baby, as he seeks, he says out loud "got it babe".. I say whatever yeah right! and poof there it is, he wasn't kidding.. cool cache another one up on ya brother Jim! loved how this dohickey works... I thought I broke it lol... but, again husband used he's tender touch and got it back into it's rolled up condition. mmm, i could have been tender too, but I was in a hurry to go fishing! lol TNLN. TFTH

Easy but cool PNG. Took us a while to put it back to the way it was supposed to be though. We ended up taking it back to the geomobile to take our time doing so.

Found it with Blygoat on our way to do some other caches as well. The cache itself was one of a kind! We both said, "Ooooh" at the same time! That was awesome! Blygoat took his time putting it back for the next cacher. TFTC SL

I just got back on island yesterday. Veganmimi grabbed me and we headed out for some caching adventure. This was our first stop.

It's been a very long time since I've geocache'd with as much enthusiasm as I did this Sunday afternoon. However having said that, I can honestly say this cache was far from mundane, as a matter of fact I found the "Prize" to be unique and as clever as cheese. Treasure seekers beware to artfully get your gotcha on! TFTC SL
