I needed this cache to claim another cache- finding caches with numbers 1-100 in their GCcode. So I arrived in the area early for band practice. I didn't have time to check out the other caches on this walkway, but I'll be back. Fortunately I was able to spot the merry tree despite it being out of season for flowers. Tftc
69th find
With the last few days of my Christmas holidays coming to an end, I decided this morning I was going to take a quick geocaching trip around the Wairarapa. Unfortunately, due to personal delays in the morning, those plans fell through. I still wanted to get out and about somewhere today, and decided I would head out to the Porirua area to try and find a few caches. This was the first successful find of nine geocaches for me this afternoon. I did a brief stint of route-planning before leaving home and decided I would attempt a loop walk around the Colonial Knob area.
When I arrived in Porirua, I parked my vehicle on Raiha Street, near the entrance to the tracks. I hadn't eaten in a while and was starting to feel a bit peckish, so I decided to head down this walkway to grab something to eat in Porirua. I picked up the numerous caches hidden along this walkway during my trip there and back, and this was the first one I found.
GZ was all quiet when I arrived and it didn't take me too long to notice the obvious potential hiding spot. Cache was quickly retrieved and logbook signed. Everything inside was nice and dry and all was in good condition. I replaced back where I found it after signing and continued on my way.

Getting increasingly soggy, but I found it! Going home after a successful After-Work Cache Hunt
Out for a walk along here with KiwiKatieG and Geowoof Nala. Nice and easy find for us. Have replaced the ziplock bag with one that seals properly as the old one was torn. TFTC
Found with and the geohound while wandering along the Raiha walkway, collecting the series neighbouring this cache. Lovely and dry, despite plenty of recent wet weather. TFTC. KTG
Thanks for bringing me to this path have been meaning to come down here for a couple of years
Saturday morning drive down to Tawa and Porirua area to find some caches. A busy road. Thanks Yeetrees for the cache.
Sneaky little view of the harbour as we made our way around the track. Very enjoyable hīkoi and cache haul!
#1748. A shopping trip to Porirua with GB Leader was a good excuse for a little caching in an area I have not spent a lot of time in. This was the third and last for the afternoon.
Nice easy find. The cache was lying exposed to view, and after signing I covered it up with appropriate cover. Very windy at GZ today.
My numbers for November keep climbing. Tftc Yeetrees.

Beautiful day to stop and grab this cache on my lunch break. Thanks for bringing me here, stopped and admired the view for a bit, such a nice wee spot away from the hustle and bustle.

A nice quick find and a great view on such a sunny day. Didn't bother looking at the gint for this one as the it was found nice and quick in the obvious spot
No views here today - just low cloud and lots of rain . Hint led me straight to the cache. TFTC
Apologies for the extremely late log but the lockdown interrupted things and I never quite got into the swing of logging after, never mind catching up but I am trying to do so before the year ends.
Found with aeshna_uk on yet another visit to Porirua. Last find on this walk before we turned around and headed back down. It is indeed a great view. TFTC!

A fairly quick find as the blue lid was quite exposed, its now hidden a little more than before but should be obvious to those in the know. TFTC.
Final find of day 83 of our TA thru-hike. Ready to set up camp and head for Wellington in the morning. TFTC!
I needed a nice quick find today and this one ticked the box nicely. Loved the Christmas tree! So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Can't remember a view so I guess it's still a secret. Not the quickest of finds here but we got there in the end. TFTC # 14,953
We followed the hint - - here and then there and then - - over there, until finally all the places where the cache wasn't had been eliminated and we found ourselves signing the log. TFTC .
Great morning out with kelly on a girls morning with no kids. We enjoyed the walk that we never knew existed!
Number 4 on the mini mission with one member of the Yeomanclan. Lots of fun being the offical scrambler! TFTC
Thanks for the cache yeetrees...
Found after a mtb ride up and down the awesome trails near here.
I will have to return another day to find more

I found this cache in the first place I looked. Thanks for placing a series of caches along a neat lil walkway.

Nachdem ich Nachtlage bezogen hatte, ging es los zur Verpflegung. Doch dabei kann man auch noch ein paar Caches loggen und einen netten Spaziergang machen
A quick and easy find. Thanks
Today we are heading home so it is a slow trip to the airport from Plimmerton. We cached on the way and were in plenty of time to catch the big bird back to Christchurch. What a great MEGA weekend.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let's all help this a successful event!
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

Found there were too many Christmas trees to search around. May try again another time.
A nice quick find by mini me. Thank you for bringing us here, have never been along this track. We thoroughly enjoyed the secret view. Thanks
For some reason my GPSr didn't show this one and I'd passed and done Colonial Knob before realising. Fortunately I hadn't gone too far away and was easily able to backtrack.

Covered in scratches from an unsuccessful cache hunt nearby I relocated to a more friendly cache hunting environment. After a false start I soon found what I was looking for. TFTC
Selesi and I approached this across country and in the process had our hair rearranged but I found the cache in a fairly obvious place in the finish as the dreaded dog-walking muggles passed, wanting to know what I was doing in there. They still don't know.
The "merriest" tree I could see was fenced off, will try again when I'm not desperate for a wee haha
