I note that the owner does not seem to have posted a response cache following Zero_Gravitas's lasi reviewer note.
That would be because a well-placed and favourited, cache was disabled unnecessarily. Owner will not put hours of effort into innovative caches when treated like this by reviewers.
This cache seems to be within private property.
I have already come into problems with the owner of the building who has no knowledge of Geocaching whatsoever.
This geocache needs to be archived ASAP as this is NOT allowed as the building does NOT belong to the Geocacher and is placed on a Muggles land.

Given the last posting, I'm disabling this as a precaution until the Owner can confirm permission/placement, or archive the cache.

I went to this one after dropping the kiddies off at the Museum. I searched for a while, and even used the hint, but I'm worried very recent landscaping may have had a bad effect on this one. I'm sending photos to CO. Of course, I could just be thick in the skull
Yay. Found it this time on a lovely fine sunny spring day!
A great spot. A superb hide at my favourite control tower. TFTC.
This is where I did 29 hours of instructor flying training before the airfield was closed, and where I took my kids for their first flight in Cessna 172 "Kilo-Victor-Bravo". Lots of great memories here.

Had a quick look around the tower area in the freezing wind, but with the civil works happening, couldn't be sure the cache was lost since last found. Will try again on a warmer day!
Suggest this is a weekend or night time only cache at the moment. Area is fenced off at the street but you can still walk around it if noones looking (and they werent today). What a great hide! Thanks
Popped by to check all is well. While there is a lot of development in the area the cache is still accessable. You will need a high degree of stealth and timing.
Very nicely done! Excellent idea. Interesting development going on around here. TFTC
I went past here the other day, it looks like the building is getting a fairly serious make over. If the tradesmen discover this hide, I bet there will be quite a bit of head scratching going on.
Very clever - although had to do under cover of darkness due to construction work.
This cache should maybe checked as to whether it is possible to complete at the present due to a construction site at GZ.

A interesting and well executed cache. Found on a Friday evening after dinner caching expedition. TNLN. TFTC
Quick find, no one about, co-ords took us straight there. We debated the wisdom of the container and decided it would keep the muggles away. Very cleverly placed.
Security car kept driving around but we eventually found it without raising suspicion. Very clever cache. Swapped a bouncy ball for a highlighter.
Nice container. Easy find on a drizzly afternoon with flat gps batteries

Love it! Left a small pink hi-lighter in the (awesome) GC. The name on the hi-lighter was just asking to be placed near the AIRforce. TFTC
What an interesting container, thanks for bringing me here, must visit the Air Force Museum one day soon.
Popped in to check that all was well with the cache and water the garden. It was and I did.
Very nice like folks that think outside the box (or Square as they say in NZ) - 4/9 on my trip (208)
Quick find at a spot I'd never been to despite having lived in Chch for 20 years.
Nice quick drive-right-up-to find. Sneaky, but spotted it straight away.
Surprisingly, for a weekday afternoon, absolutely no one for miles around , made for a quick snatch and sign. Had to wait a few minutes to return it as a van drove up, parked & driver slowly disembarked and wandered away (how do you look nonchalant sitting in your car, parked askew, in an empty carpark?).........

This is one of real favourites - cant believe put my hand in the only nettle in 100m radius Little G will be talking about this for a long time Many thanks Little G Magic
Exchanged nothing. Couldn't get a line out. But didn't get hung up for long. TFTC
Totally awesome place for a cache, obviously a lot of thought has gone into this

A nice easy find and went straight to it. Its a shame to see this area taken over by housing as I used to enjoy coming out here to see all the other activities that use to happen here. Many thanks for all the work that has gone into this cache. TFTC. Cheers Bo
Very nice hide. We have seen a couple of these before, but this one was particularly well done. Thanks for the fun.

Came to some similar hides in the past, so no need to read the clues. Stil a bit adventerous. TFTC
A truckie was lingering nearby deciding whether to go through the gates or not. Finally he went in and we pounced.
The clue helps as we didn't want to injure ourselves. For a Sky Dog, these airfields are like a big playing field! Took TB, left Oz Mega geocoin. Love your work.

Came here because we had picked up a travel bug that wanted to see planes and airports. It would appear that this airport is not going to be having any planes land again. Lots of land working going on near by. Left travel bug "Henry Mission" and took travel bug.
This one was a must for friends of planes. And we found this unusual container!

Geo-quax saw the container while I was thinking about the first spot for the search. Very funny, thanks for it!
Glad I did this one near total darkness. Easy find, brazen hide. Cheers Gav [4959]
Final cache of the morning. Earthmovers were all over the fields but on one about the cache area. Dropped off a geocoin. Cheers for the cache!
This took us a while. Niece found it. Co ords a bit out which put us out. Clever hide though
Straight to it, seen a few hides like this but nicely done.
Interesting old building, enjoyed the visit.

#1758 It's nice to see that there are some caches in Christchurch that show some form of ingenuity. TFTC DS8300
spotted the cache as soon as we drove in, as there is one just like in Nelson .
Found it today on our tour in and around Christchurch.
Nice "container"!

Only muggles around were some looking for their runaway dog. Once they departed the cache was a quick find. Nice hide.
Compared with our last visit, when there were lots of cars outside, and people going in and out, the place was deserted today, and we were able to quickly retrieve the cache from the location Mrs W.E.K.A. had spied last time. TFTC
A clever hiding spot. After looking around there didnt seem like anywhere else it could be so we gave it a go. I dont know what would have happened if we had got it wrong. TFTC and a good laugh at our selves
An ingenious little hide, easy to confirm with the tag in place. A bunch of land yachts having a great time not too far from GZ was good for 10 mins entertainment. TNLN thanks.
Spent about four minutes attempting to pull something else out of its hiding place before giving up and widening the search. Like others I was a little suss about the actual container, but a look behind it should allay any fears and confirm what it is.
A clever hide, I had been to the museum previously but did not comprehend the size of this complex, it will be interesting to see how it is developed now it is in new ownership.

Still out caching with BK&J. A day of teaching me to cache! Very quiet area, makes me think I should visit the museum sometime. Great hide. Thanks.
Out with LittleTuiBird putting her through her paces. Nicely done. A very desserted area these days. TFTC.
Visited a few weeks back but didn't have a lot of time to think about it to much. I remember GZ and may have even touched it but this time time I was in. Very tricky. SL TFTC
Came here wondering what to expect Oh my gosh we were quite shocked [excuse the pun] We just stood there, and finnaly Womble T said ' Is this it 'Womble B said 'You can get it ['Shes not silly]Although scared he finnaly plucked up some courage from somewhere and yippy he found it Phew. While we had our backs turned a lot of young ATCs had come here for Who knows what Probably training for the Airforce.Thank-you NZTIKES we loved your very sneeky little cache.Well done.
As I thought.
I zapped this one off the nearest list this morning.
Very clever

I walked past this a few times thinking "no, too clever", then I looked at it again and thought "no, too dodgy", finally I thought "if it is its very devious". I held my breath and approached it nervously, I had not told anyone where I was going. Phew!!!! I live to tell the tale, and score another cache. As commented by others, there is no sign of GC. TFTC
Quick find, had seen this type before, but always enjoy the originality of these clever caches. They are the best finds! TFTC.
