The boys team from PCYC Blazers had a good look for this cache but were unable to locate it, it may need checking by the owner [?]

07-Jan-11
Yes, a DNF for us although my search was limited in enthusiasm by the number of muggles.

07-Jan-11
Despite the nice, clear hint, we had no luck here today. Fabulous barrel, though! Made me thirsty just looking at it.

02-Jan-11
SadDNF Had to stop looking when muggle man paid us some attention.

Second attempt and Sunday afternoon after 3pm would have to be the best time as this place would get rather busy, and I was lucky enough to get some help from a local who works in the Barrel.
This log definatly needs to be replaced as it is overfull.

This log is overfull and needs to be replaced

I was lucky with this one, the establishment had closed for the day, so I had free reign to search. Easy find, but not easy to log. As others have noted, log roll is in a sad state, falling apart when I opened the cache. It needs replacement. Found at 1510hrs.

Cheers
Bundy

Misros not my favourites. This one a bit ragged to record as paper wearing thin.

28-Aug-10
Found at 1415 after visiting the barrel and sampling their wares. The log is in need of some TLC. Thanks phillipsart.

This was one of those caches where I swear I knew better than the GPS. Sigh - I just never learn.

After looking at all the places it was wasn't, I finally decided to check with the GPS and go where it was telling me and yep, there it was Surprised.

TFTC - We'll try try and get back here when it's open.

Trivia - My caching buddy's favourite Bundy drink? Cafe Express (one they don't make anymore Sad). Mine is a toss-up between peachee and burgundy, depending on what I've been doing all day.

7th and final find for the day as need lunch shopping and refill the water bottles as vans are thirsty. Found with The X Trailers but the paper work needs replacing as no where to write and was falling apart.

Found on a good day caching in the area. It is amazing how sometimes the simple ones work so well. Thanks to phillipsart for the cache.

14-Jul-10
Our last stop for the day which began at the other brewery in town and ended at this one. We had the whole facility to ourself, I guess a benefit of holidaying outside school holidays! A quick easy find while taking a photo of the barrel. TFTC.

13-Jul-10
Day tripping up to Bundaberg from a visit to Maryborough and we'd dropped into the barrel to pick up some essential liquid supplies. Cranked up the GPS to find a cache or two in the area and was pleasantly surprised to find one only 40m away from where I was parked. A quick walk and the cache was found. Signed log and then off to find more around Bundaberg.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache,
best wishes,
Wal & Jono

We thought we would get in before the gates opened to find this one so at 9.30 am we cycled up and tried not to look too suspicious as a girl went about opening up. She obviously knew what we were up to and promptly pointed us in the right direction. LOL

Around the corner from in-laws house ... makes the visit worthwhile lol
High traffic area, hard to be inconspicuous - but we did OK I think.
Another first find for Mr thefloyds Smile

This logbook is as full as the one at Bundy Rum. Seems the weekend event has overloaded the nano caches in town.

02-May-10
Only just managed to squeeze my name onto the bottom of this one TFTC

02-May-10
Grabbed this one after hours which was probably a good time, the only negative was not sampling the product.
Guess that means another caching trip up this way, TFTH.

Found this one easier than finding a spot to sign as the log book is full. Shame this was after hours - couldn't go sample the product. TFTC

02-May-10
I am not sure if this one is any easier after hours or not, but anyhow it was found.

The logbook was so full that I coudl only put a small GG on the sheet.

We found this cache on a run through the Bargara and Bundaberg area on the 10th Anniversary of geocaching.

seems that when you check the correct sign you can find this little cache Surprised

Thanks Phillipsart

Nice quick find after dark. No muggles at all. After a rather full day of caching, this was the last one on the way back to Bargara. TFTC.

Found (16:50) today in company of youngoldfella....

Relatively easy find late today - no muggle traffic to distract the search

Great to see the restored old vehicle in nearby display garage

Quickish find at 1650 with kaisho53. Trust me to not trust gpsr and go to the incorrect sign first but soon realised error. TFTC

02-May-10
When we got there the log was full and as we had a spare we took the liberty of replacing it.
Thanks Philipsart

Once we found the right signpost we were fine. Quick find and went into the market part and bought a few items for swaps and a gift for a friend overseas. TFTC and taking us there as only this morning we were saying we wondered where the place that made that fabulous Bergundy was Smile.

Enjoyed our visit to the barrel and sampled the many soft drinks. GPS had GZ but we felt we would be too obvious at this time of day. Maybe another time.

21-Dec-09
Down this way to watch grandson captain the FNQ cricket team to win the U12.
Found OK. TFTC.

03-Dec-09
Beautiful garden. Did the tour of the barrel to learn all about making ginger beer. Disappointed that they add so many colours, preservatives and flavours to their produce that we know grandma would not have done when she made her brew. Unfortunately we couldn't find the cache after all of that....eatmorchikin & Stigglepot, Brisbane

The site was closed when I arrived. There is a very tall sign in the garden near the road. looked all round the base but couldn't see the cache. I felt a bit strange stepping over the closed gate to have another another look but still couldn't find it so I quickly left. Will try again next time I visit Bundaberg.

01-Nov-09
Stopped in and found this one this morning at just after 7am. Found it easily but did not feel comfortable crossing a closed gate to get to the cache, hopefully there was nobody behind the tinted windows or watching us on the security cameras at that time on a Sunday morning.

01-Nov-09
On the way to the heads and stopped to have a search for this little feller, not to hard to find, Have had harder tasks from this owner. Thanks Phillipsart

01-Nov-09
Found it while having a family day out with my parents (keithnhazel)

27-Oct-09
It's a black Nano Hide. Very Small for those that may not have seen a Nano hide. it's only about a cm long and round with a screw top. Hidden on a sign at the base on one of the legs. It's not in the garden. No need shuffling the garden bed. Just use your hand to feel about on the sign's post nearest the road. It's on the inside about 6 inches of the ground held in place by a Magnetic Force.
