On our drive to Diamond Harbour we passed by here and quickly found what we were looking for. Many thanks for placing and maintaining the cache and best wishes from Frankfurt am Main.TFTCFBBHaegar
A trip over the dittecch and I'm in the land of the big white cloud. Yep, Made it to Christchurch and onto Dunedin for a week of caching. DAY Three, (24/10) yep, its the same crew of Bluewattle, Snickersallan, Wollaston and myself touring around town. Today we are doing a series of challenge caches, some solved puzzle caches and a few multis. It's a long drive to Diamond Harbour and Deep Gully Bay before heading over to West Melton and surrounds to get some of the eclipse series. Had a few others on the list as we passed by collecting some of Christchurchs cool caches. There are a few set target caches along the way. The are some amazing areas of Christchurch and I have enjoyed driving around and seeing the fantastic sights, thank you for showing us around. All logs were signed and all caches replaced as found. Thanks for the placements.
Touring around with a lovely group of Aussie geo friends for a few days in Christchurch, picking up some solved puzzles, and selected others on our to-do list. All finds today were in great condition and a credit to the CO's who place and maintain them for the benefit of the geocaching community.
Thanks for placing and maintain for our enjoyment Found with Snickersallan, Wollaston and chamadVisiting Christchurch for a few days before heading down to attend Geotora Mega
Outnabout with Chamad, Snickersallan & Bluewattle on my first ever trip across the ditch. After a week of caching around Brisbane and at events last month with other Geo friends, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to hop on board for a NZ Mega adventure. Another great day for caching. TFTC NZTIKES
Passing by grabbing many of the D/T series. A rather beat up mint tin here but it still works.TFTC
14:53 FITW Jude_E, Grandalf, ObnoxiousSpaceCat, GummiVenusWe had a great outing with Orton Bradley today! Went for a 3h 24min long mission to locate one of Grandalf's caches... With Grandalf himself. After that was all done and dusted, we stopped at the cafe for a well.earned treat and coffee, and well in the afternoon were ready to head back to Chch. **Mustn't forget to stop for the cache right at the gate!**A quick find of a container that's definitely seen better days... Surprisingly logbook is in OK condition though.Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, NZTIKES!#10699
Stopped here today on our way around to Diamond Harbour for a couple of nights. Enjoyed having a quick look up the driveway , we plan to come back and maybe spend longer.thanks for the cache NZTIKES
Last few finds if our 5 week visit to NZ - a trip over to Charteris and a walk round the Black point reserve grabbing a few caches too. Here a quick find - log signed and all replaced TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
My original plan had been to do some walking in the hills around and above Taylors Mistake but why do that when i can go for a nice drive around here instead? TFTC # 20,812
Auf unserer Reise zum bernachtungsplatz hier mal kurz gehalten und den Cache gesucht - gefunden. Danke frs Legen.
Unexpected trip through to Port Levy and thought I'll just have a wee look and there are several. Container damaged as earlier log but currently dry. Added a slip of paper.
Orton Bradley sure is a good place for a picnic and some good geocahing (even in winter) when we visited.
the cache itself was in terrible shape. The container is bent beyond repare, and the log is torn full and wet.

Took a while to find the right spot... Another cache on our way back from Christchurch to Diamond Harbour.
What a lovely hiding spot for a cache. Nice way to end a day at Ortan Bradley Park
Our 3rd cache of the day. It is lovely that geocaching is international! Thank you so much for placing and maintaining this cache.
Good find after having a late lunch, interesting place.
Had to wait for a long string of cars to put it back.
Had an eclipse container on me but wrong clour.

Great cache thank you! Beware of spiders though, gave my daughter a big fright lol
Log will need more pages soon.

Quick grab. The dent in the container makes the log a bit tricky to retrieve. After a few minutes of coaxing it out with my fingers, an enormous black spider crawled out!
Awesome park, the adventure playground was so cool. Muddy this time of year but we’ll be back in the summer
I'm currently down in Christchurch geocaching with my brother tbird 53. Today we came over to Diamond Harbour picking up geocaches, going on walks and enjoying the scenery. Quick stop here - the container lid is rather munted but still functioning - TFTC

Gate is open, but seems the buildings inside are not manned or open. Cache seems a bit beaten, but log is dry and good. Quick grab and sign. TFTC

Had a coffee and muffin in the café - great spot - before walking back to the road to locate this cache. Busy too, on a public holiday.
Camped here for the first time last night. There is a ginormous eel just on the right of the concrete bridge. Also fantastic playground for kids! TFTC!
The cache is kinda squished, almost as if it’s been run over, and some spiders have laid eggs in it, but the log is nice and dry. Sadly the cafe was closed today. Cheers!
A relatively quick stop on the way out after attending a thank you event and finally ticking off JJ. I had to drive around some bogans that didn't want to get mud on their pretty cars, so had parked in the middle of the road. The tree looked closer to GZ, but after a bit of a hunt there I read the hint and moved a bit. TFTC.
We had a lovely day out in this area find solved puzzle and other caches. A lovely spot here for picnics. Our last stop of the day after many walks and interesting tracks. Thanks for this cache NZTIKES.
Eldest son was taking part in sailing from over at Cass B so I decided to make the most of the early start to my day and drive around Lyttelton Harbour. Something I have been wanting to do for a while but no one else in the family wanted to do. Far too long sitting in the car.
My plan was to drive as far as possible around the harbour and then walk to the three caches I was focused on getting. That way I would know how much time I had to get back in time to pick my son up. The one thing with solo caching is you need to drive and navigate at the same time. After reading the cache page I thought I wouldn't have too much issue knowing when to pull over. The entrance was even more impressive than I expected. With golfers on the nearby green I proceeded to take some photos before making a quick retrieval. Walked across the road took some more photos and signed the log.
The cache container is squished so log was hard to remove. The magnet was still doing it's job well. Thanks for placing this cache, it looks like a lovely area that needs a revisit to explore.

Today we spent a lovely at Orton Bradley, did go up the waterfall, for a 7km hike. As if it wasn't enough, our little one then enjoyed the BMX pump track. As we left, we stopped by the gate and we retrieved this one between two cars. Both container and logbook are in good condition. Thanks for the cache!
In Christchurch visiting a friend and we came to Orton Bradley Park for a wee walk. Beautiful area and amazing views! Found this as we left and was a nice quick find TFTC
Day 4 of our Sth Island (substitute for Seattle) trip. A quick park and grab on the way back from Diamond Harbour. Thanks.

For a while now Jessdaphne and I have been solving the d/t puzzles locally to try and fill in a few more gaps in our own grids. We are starting the day with me needing 7 and Jess needing 6. The goal for today was to find the ones we had solved from Governor's Bay through to Camp Bay. Must stop for trads as well while we are at it. The container has seen better days but was well hidden. Thanks!

Found by stirling isaac and sam! Thanks for the cache. Cache container is a little bent and lid not shutting properly.
Much to the interest of a muggle going into the park three strange men were lurking around the gates.
Thanks

Had a great day out and about caching in Canterbury, many thanks to all the cache placer's.Thanks Bitsprayer
Found on a caching journey into Mid Canterbury today with Bitsprayer and Erninz. All caches found in good condition. Really enjoyed the challenge and the many hours spent on the puzzles caches to unravel the coordinates. Also great to travel along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
We are just returning for another night at the park such a lovely place thanks for the hide
Just spent 47.15 hours racing around the hills in the park. What a beautiful run. Sore feet so a slow walk to find the cache. With 2tussock.
Lovely park. Krazie K's ultramarathon home, what an event, great support and organisation.
Caching today with themexikiwi and the little brother as we made our way around the place.
Didn't take too long to nip across the road and make a quick find here before heading further up the road. All good here and off to the next one. TFTC

After dropping my kids off at the start of the Crater Rim race I headed back to the finish line in Christchurch via a few geocaches. This was a nice quick find. No time today to check out the park.
Quite easy. But the eclipse is a bit dented and tweezers were used to removed the log. TFTC
A quick find after spending some time orienteering and picnicking at the park - tftc
A quick find as the options for an all hours access cache of this type were limited. However, I found it a bit munted and I did not have a replacement. Was able to put back, but it may need some TLC at some stage. TFTC NZTIKES.
A long weekend in Chch to celebrate the good work our planet does. There it is, whizzing round the sun at 23 degrees tilt or whatever, just doing its job, and I have now observed 50 laps of this loyal service. No big achievement on my part - I, and a few select others, have just kept myself fed and watered long enough to witness it, but nevertheless I have been summoned to Chch to celebrate this fact.
So regretting not heading down a day or two earlier, I made sure it was a very early start today. So much so that I was able to get from Blenheim to Lyttelton by 10am or thereabouts. A few hours caching up my sleeve then, before the others finish their work and we can get on with the weekend.
A good chance to find some solved D/Ts and various others on the way, as well as soaking in the views of the harbour on a glorious day. TFTC to all the COs.
