Logs
A friend told me several days ago that this one might still be there as someone had visited her cache after attending to a nearby archived cache. This one wasn't on my radar and since it was a nice day I decided to cycle out and investigate and check on a couple of mine while heading there. At GZ there wasn't much in the way of hiding places but one place I thought worthy of further investigation yielded a cache. Sure enough, it was called "Cosy". It wasn't like the photo of the container shown in one of the logs just before been archived. It was in fact a replacement of the original, or an earlier one and it got replaced by a later one. The last two logs were undated and haven't been logged. S Same situation in my Vauxhall Yacht Club one. I notified one of them asking for the logging to be done. Anyway it is always a thrill to find an archived cache. I looked in on 4 possibilities a few days ago with no luck.
I like finding archived caches. Had some time to kill in the area and parked over by the shops. Some current caches in the area weren't getting maintained properly and while this cache was on the bookmark, the Aussie crew wouldn't have included it if there hadn't been a post archival find. Walked up the wee path to find the 400ml cache had been flushed from it's hide and while noice'n'dry, the seals had a bit of duff in the seals. Considering the previous finders posted a wet manky 1Lt cache?, one does wonder what they found when the 400ml the CO replaced was tickety boo seen from the path. Sat up at the cosy seat and tapped the cache seals for a clean. A dry logbook signed by Guwapo and Daywalk in May was as good as the day the CO replaced in 2010, followed shortly after the locals vindicating their many DNF's. The cache got popped back in the less visible spot with a rock to stop the slide. It may not be as spiffy like the [tunnel](https://coord.info/GC4NQ26) but this archived cache fits in well. *Easy come, easy go.*

We were lucky to park on the correct side. It was cold today and we found it very quickly.
pulled into little street and cache had already been muggled, pen and contents safe though along with log but was in middle of pathway, placed it back where my gps said it should be and it is fairly accurate so hopefully it will be safe back in there
I loved this one, Great hide, Co-0rds and directions spot on, Left 'I love NZ Penguins' keyring.
Quick find on my wander along the coast path. Cache is in good condition.

In Dunedin from Whangarei with flowernz for the MEGA having a great time finding some of the south caches. Really enjoying the locations the caches are taking us to. Heading out to the Peninsular today before leaving later tonight. We hadn't read the logs before stopping to look for the cache on our way back into Dunedin so had a bit of a hunt first. Unfortunately no cache find here for us.
Come on, us04, time to get with the play. Please either repaire or disable this cache (until you either repair or archive it)
On our way back from Larnach Castle and spied a number of cachemobiles stopped at this location, so decided to stop. Despite 10 pairs approx of eyes no luck for any of us today. Maybe needs to be checked.
With parking at a premium, we searched feverently and it wasn't too long before Kaisho53 came up with the goods. Kaisho53 has a knack - almost a cache whisperer!!
Our 5th of 65 finds today.
Day 3 on our 6 day caching trip to Dunedin for the NZ MEGA 2012 event with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ozibags, ghostgums and MrMeccano. We started early under clear skies and headed out along the Otago Peninsula through Macandrew Bay, Portobello and Harrington Point to Taiaroa Head and back through Pukehiki to Anderson Bay and then back to base in Dunedin
TFTC, us04!

This one was a quick find to Kaisho53 as it needed to be as Gunnie69 had the van parked in a bus stop!

Day 3 of Cache Hunting at NZ Mega 21012 with Gunnie69, Ghostgums, Mr Meccano, Ozibags and TheFourBees
Not navigating or driving today so quicker on the ground to hunt at each stop..
We spread out and began our hunt - after a minute or so I had container spotted & retrieved
Log soon signed & cache replaced

Thanks us04

Yikes, this one appears to be a bit of a challenge recently but with six of us on the hunt, the cache was located after a brief scratch around. The search pattern was a good size with us all on the job and Kaisho53 came up with the goods after a couple of minutes... [^]
Found with fellow Queensland hunters Kaisho53, OziBags, TheFourBees, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano.
Cheers us04.

Caching with Ghostgums, Mr Meccano. Gunnie69, kaisho53 and fourbees while attending the NZ Mega. With lots of DNF's we must have just lucked it! Six pairs of eyes searching probably helped too. Kaisho53 was the finder in our group. TFTC us04.
This one eluded us. We didn't see anything red there at all. There was something red-ish some distance away, but it was above a drain so we didn't look there.
No joy on this one today, even with two other pairs of eyes to help. We found something that suggested it should hide a cache, and evidence of kids. We hope it isn't muggled.
Took me a while to work out the hint, then when I was on the right 'track', I still couldn't find the other hint..... or the cache. Oh well, for another time. TFTC
MIss 10 spotted the red hint right away, she quickly ferreted out the cache. Seemed almost too easy. TFTC
Spent a while ... couldn't find anything, and it wasn't the most pleasant site to dig around.

Had a very good look around but no luck with this one today. We'll be back one day.
Well second visit Lovely late avo with ingidayna Completely over thought and overlooked on the first visit :I
Found eventually, not sure if this one is in it's original location? seemed pretty exposed, TFTC.
Found it more by accident than anything, just about to call it for the day when my son "fell" onto it
nice spot - and this view was obviously shared by the earwig family who decided to move in!! Shook them out, all 100 or so of them, hope they find a new abode, but may they stay far away from my place - just found one recently in the blender handle, no idea how it managed to get in there! TFTC!!!
We didn't actually see a walkway? But oh well, we managed to go a bit too far, and so while practicing driving kinda went up this really steep hill, and had to do a 3 point there... scary...
Found a park though, and then soon located the cache when we got out.
An earwig family had seemed to have set up a bit of a breeding ground in there! And there was lots of them there! Shaked them out as best possible... but gross! Haha. Surprising they even managed to get in there! Rest of the cache was fine, and it's fine now.

A Muggle has found this cache and has put a rather rude comment in the logbook. Was a long Way from the hint so shifted it a bit closer. Tftc
Found just as I was about to give up. Found the clue after finding the cache. I've got no complaints. The size of the clue doesn't make it easy, but then it isn't supposed to be easy.
Not sure what the red is about. We didn't see any red. Add to that our GPSrs had us all over the place.
Found the colour I sought, and then had to look a little harder. Second finder today
Made things a bit hard even once we found the hint. Found with sarge and mandz. TFTC
Sunday bike jaunt down the Peninsula.
Nice quiet spot and red helped narrow the search down,

Found with iron_butterfly, who quickly spotted the hint item and then the cache. Beautiful spot - and nice to see the bus shelter mural recently restored. TFTC!
You're cunning bastards round this way, ain't ya! Took far too long to find but eventually the penny dropped!
Our initial search came up empty but after a regroup we trusted the gps and the hint and made it look easy. TFTC
I had all but given up when Mr KE saved the day by spotting something useful. TFTC

In a howling gale on the start of our peninsula trip it was nearly a DNF until jillopy spotted the obvious! Clever indeed! TFTC.
Kinton Zoe and Brittany found with friends at church teamelliottfamily heap of fun can't wait to do more.
Had the log book in hand and signed on 19 February 2011at 11:18:00 with the richards tribe.
