After talking to Colleda about geocaching in the local area, they told me that this cash man cache was still here, so i took a look and sure enough found it pretty quickly, log was full, which wasn't surprising for how long its been here for, cheers.
'Funny' how ineffective the GPS was under the trees. And it took a little bit of back and forth to zero in on the spot.
Nice hide and retrieval. Dry and intact

While we had come down to visit with the older son (brother) he had had to go to work, so we went off to find a few caches.
1435 GAFF1 While the GPSr took way past (lots of interference from the trees I guess) it also brought us back to just the right spot.
Obviously unable to leave a Correct Site Marker in that sized cache. Dry and intact - coordinates great.
Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, All Season Caching 2007 Summer, Aust Light Houses, B 2 B ingot, Celtic cross, CITO tag, Iconic Bridges, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink coins, N-JOYO TB and trackable shirt.

Nice spot, channel is really interesting, clever hide. Stopped at the picnic table to log our morning finds to the tune of a magpie family. SL TFTC Chers... Gaztek
That hill is steeper than it looks! It was great to stop for the lovely views and a nicely hidden cache, shame the park's a bit neglected. Yeah, we wouldn't mind an orchard here. TFTC The Cash Man
Nice stop on the easy home from a long weekend. Great view. Once GPS was fixed Nicksmyname found this fairly quickly. Nice incentive hide!

After a short look-around I got the right idea and found the small box. I think this is one of the largest caches in Australia We found so much nanos today that it was nice to find this one.
Thank you says Enhaneunzig from Germany

Round and round we go again.
Help out the muggles with Holiday snaps, look in all the wrong places and Triangulate, like I should of done at the start. Cool hide.

I grew up here. It has grown thick since I was last here, and a concrete path down to the water seems to have disappeared. It was pretty much dark by the time I got to searching after waiting for a woman, her granddaughter and dog to move on. I wandered around the park for a while before zeroing in on the obvious location and finding my prize. Having just completed Rocky Point, helped me a little in finding this one. Thanks Cash Man.
Well I didn't get the hint but that doesn't matter.
I found it anyway and a clever and effective hide it is.
Nice.
Thanks for the cache.

Swung by this cache in the drizzle and fading light for grab find #600! GPS led us straight to the great little hide. Sometime ago there would surely have been fantastic views of the lake. Found with TheOrmos and the revisiting CDM261. TFTC and the milestone!
I'd like to "mark this point" as my hereafter place of rest.
Thanks for the view.

Wow nice little park. I'd never been to Marks Point before. Glad I didn't have to go down the overgrow and rather steep little track down to the water.
Wow !! Today my daughter Esmee to find this cache.
She is there on stage for her studies at the University of Newcastle.

Wow, had been here two times previously and couldnt find a thing, Untill today Searching without a GPS left lots of places to search and when we were about to give up yet again it finally clicked to me what the hint was about and we found it! Very well hidden TFTC
Ha! With the clue and seeing this type of cache before, we had this in hand super quick. TFTF

I liked the view but I didn't find anything. My GPS is out by 6m which always gives me a large search area. Even with the clue I couldn't make this work out. Thanks for bringing me here Cash Man
Cold today with a stiff southerly buster blowing in. Found quickly Tftc.

Reperio at 1410. Another wonderful little view point visited today, and while there weren't too many spots to search around, I somehow managed to overlook the cache on the first run through, which subsequently added another 10 mins to the search time until I came back to the spot, looked again...and thought how did I miss that.
Gratias.

What a top little spot. I bet the % of Newcastlians have not been here. I didn't venture down the track but that looked tempting. Clear skies!
Found at 12:50pm, our second on an afternoon of picnicking and geocaching (as the school holiday finale). A nice, quiet spot that we may well revisit. Thanks!
XC on business in Mt Hutton for a few days.. Out for a run at dawn this morning before heading back to Sydney to fly home to NZ... Ran to here from motel nearby... Quick easy find once nearby muggle had his back turned...

Great hide. Park was a bit run down, we walked to the point down the track - thanks for the history
We went down the bottom to what looks like train tracks but that was silly we found it eventually TFTC
An excellent hide The Cash Man. And also thanks for showing us one of Lake Macquaries most scenic suburbs. Fantastic! T:Nil L:Nil, TFTC.
My first encounter with fellow cachers, unsure of the proper etiquette we were pretty certain of their purpose and approached Mr and Mrs CDM261, glad we did, as it was nice to talk to someone else about this hobby.
A very clever method used to hie he cache, I did manage to disturb a rather large wolf spider who had made a home near the cache.

Cool method of cache concealment.

9th find for today. Ran off to find this one before geo-Mum even had time to put the coordinates in the GPS! TFTC!
One of those views people pay millions to wake up to every day. Seems only fair they should share it with us every once in a while! TFTC
I want to live here! I had no idea Mark's Point was this big. Or this posh lol
I never realised just how big Marks Point actually is.
A nice easy find, though i dont quite get the clue o_O

Nice quick find. The neighbours were getting started on a party with plenty of noise but were out of sight in their garage.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Dingbat12 had been here before and was unsuccessful, but we found it today. Thanks
A few pelicans watching us today, but not nice enough weather for muggles.
Great weather for cachers though! *wink*

Found at 2.30pm GAFF1. A lovely spot, but we wished the trees could have been trimmed so that we could get a better view. We disturbed a little huntsman from its hiding spot when we removed the well crafted cache. Gave us a minor scare.
Thanks The Cash Man - are you in competition with Madstars for the most caches around a bay?

We sat here to have lunch and then picked up the cache after we were done eating. A nice example of a home-made cache that was a little more interesting than most others in the area. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1330. Pleased to have such informative cache details to read before we arrived. Beautiful views, and some lovely houses. Our thanks again to The Cash Man.
