Logs
Stumbled across this cache by accident, even though it was archived. Have retrieved it for the owner.
Appears it has gone onceagain so time to call it a day on this one, thanks to all the cachers who have visited and found the cache.
Some really interesting art works around here both on the bridge and in the vicinity. TFTC
Found originally as part of Rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
This time I was parked on the other side of the bridge, so got to walk past the water feature and sculptures! Luckily for me the cache had been replaced, it always helps with the search if its there! Love the bridge, and the motorway is quiet!

DNF previous visit, but that was because it was missing! In the area on my way to a friends place for lunch, and decided this was a perfect diversion. Its an impressive structure, quiet today, just the cars passing underneath. Thanks for the replacement and the hide.
Got the notification that the cache was back, headed up this afternoon, looking completely in the wrong place I was muggled by a young girl, she asked where my dog had gone, told her I was looking for her, she said you should put her on a lead lol. When they moved off it was a quick find. Tftc
Due to several DNF's this cache is being temporarily disabled until it can be checked.
Admired the bridge and the artwork! avoided all the cyclists, but could not find. Maybe arms needed to be longer, or the cache is on its own secret mission. Will have to return, just not sure when.
This one has me stumped! Been back twice and still no joy. Shame really as it's a lovely bridge and a yellow face would have gone nicely with the colour of the bridge.
Well the logic of having painted it yellow so it would stand out was lost on this cache today. May I suggest flourescent pink?
Couldn't find it, jumped the fence too looked under bridge, only thing I saw was a string attached to yellow thing, but no cache attached.
Man thats a big streatch got it in the end tftc, meet a young man there looking for his first cache good luck

Can problems with this a week ago...combination of short arms and old joints meant that this time I had to resort to Plan B...out with Fluoro Vest...cheers V.
Finally found this on the second try, well actually my partner found it but I showed him where to look
Time for one last cache find after a spot of caching in the afternoon sun. Couldn't find the cache after a first sweep, so got into the head of Rosmar...got it! I think the technical name for this colour is calf poo yellow, but I may be wrong. Cheers for the cache placement!
On the third try this week, finally found it !! Hooray!! Proved we were certainly on the right track but a little more effort paid off. A smart hide, logs were dampish but not sure why ?. "Him-self" was talking to the two artists/potters yesterday who were on site working and adding additional pottery/tiles to the steps leading to the bridge. Take some time and it is well worth a look around, well themed !! Interesting description on 'yellow' visibility. News today that "St John Ambulance'' are converting to this colour shortly!! TFTC

Enjoyed today a long and exiting caching day out in Hobsonville with KiwifruitsNZ and Vamber.
Very weird artwork.... TFTC

This cache formed part of a joint attack on the Hobsonville area by KiwifruitsNZ, Vamber and alpenmilch80.
Quick easy find, with the highlight of this cache being the surrounding artwork, both the architectural design work and the photo taken by one member of the team!

This cache was part of our day full of caching of the Hobsonville area with KiwifruitsNZ and alpenmilch80.
This was another quick find for the day. We were definitely intrigued by the artwork at the bottom of the steps!

Woohoo, left this one as I saw all the DNF! But decided to hunt for a few today and after the note I gave it a crack, thought it would e smaller so checked near the bolts and under the cables etc but when I leaned over saw an unusual grey color in the corner of my eye, got down and stretched to retrieve it! TFTC forgot pen but will go back one day and log! Well done!
My second attempt at trying to find this one. Although subjective; based on the fairly generic hint and 'trickiness' of the hide, I would have thought the difficulty rating could have been a tad higher. Anyhow, it's good to finally see a 'smilie' on the map. Thanks Rosmar for a good challenge.
I noticed that rosmar had checked out their cache and reported that it was still there. So I just had to go and have another look. The amended hint didn't seem to help any, but I continued to search anyway, and was finally rewarded with a find. Quite a sneaky hide, thanks rosmar, i'm glad you made me come back for another crack at this one.
Due to the number of DNF's we went to check on the cache. I am happy to report that the cache is still where it should be. The hint has been amended.
After seeing all the dnf's I thought that I might perhaps have more luck. But alas no, after about 20 mins. of thorough searching I had no luck either. So I will have to log a dnf as well. Interesting bridge and artwork here though.
I couldn't find it either.....although it is a rosmar cache which I've been struggling to find lately....
After carefully studying every little nook and cranny and piece of metal for about 20minutes, I had to return to my vehicle empty handed. Boohoo. Resorted to taking some photos of the interesting bridge while I was there. Thanks for bringing me here anyway.
4 of us searched high and low for a good 20 mins. No luck. Could use a better hint.
Did this at night, not sure how long it took, but long enough for a guy to ride past, buy some milk at the shop and ride back again! Kids with me, eventually found it right where we started looking and cant believe we missed it. Well done, thanks.
Another quick after school find with the kids. Thanks heaps for the cache!
Why Yellow? I've always wondered that since first seeing it built, managed not to stress and change colour myself in looking for this one, TFTC
Thought Naana7 and I would do a bit of caching and we have been meaning to grab this cache for a while, soon had the cache in hand!!
My first time walking across this bridge, took us a little bit to find but once we had the right location had geocache in hand
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Set out today with the aim of reaching our next milestone of 500 cache finds. Heading to Orewa and Shakespear Regional Park to do this.
This was on route so we decided to stop and grab it.
Quick easy find on the large yellow bridge.

Thank god we found it or i was never going to get dinner. Finally found it after a very good look
Thankfully didn't have to wait for the hordes of people this mighty structure serves to pass, quick look one side then the other. TFTC.
OMG thought I was never going to find this one. On our 4th trip my wonderful Husband found it!!!!!!

TikvaNZ and I came to this one towards the end of a mammoth caching day for each of us (132 finds). What better medicine could there be than a couple of tricky finds, right? We searched for this one for some time, but in the end TikvaNZ gets credit for coming up with the goods. He ROCKS!!! I'm just glad I was with him, or I'd still be looking .

With a few hours of daylight left after completing the Dalmations and Piggies (109 caches) 8ManAfter and I continued to cache as we headed to the CBD. This find made it 121 for the day so far. The first sweep revealed nothing, then a more thorough systematic search came up trumps. TFTC

Like the Sheehans, we searched what we felt was the whole area and nothing?
Just wondering if it has disappeared?

Cache took a little bit of searching around for. I was put off reaching around to feel for it when I put my hand in a spider's web, but that's why I cache with Lycurgon . We took a walk across this cool bridge, though I must admit it made my stomach turn a little. Maybe it was being tired after a long day caching, maybe it was just that the motorway below was pretty quiet at night so when a car did go by the noise really echoed. Or maybe it was just that it was quite a long way up really! TFTC, a really interesting location.
An interesting foot bridge, with some cool artwork. This cache took a bit of searching, but eventually come across it. TFTC.
Loved the walk on this bridge. It was very windy but amazingly nice. We loved it

This was my last of five finds this morning. The cache took a little longer to find than expected and was spotted only when I looked from a indirect angle.
Retrieving the cache was done quickly although I had to become a bit of a contortionist to return it.

Interesting and expensive looking structure which does not seem to get much use at the moment. We've seen it from afar for some time before the road was actually opened. Nice easy find - TFTC
well that explains why it wasnt there last time...but what am i doing wrong now - still cant find it?
Visited GZ and it appears that the old cache has gone. We have replaced this today. Happy Caching
No luck here today.......had a good examination of the structure, but the cache evaded us - or maybe its gone?
now this one has us foxed - every thing was shiny and new where we stood not a hiding place in site - the cold wind drove us away... was it there?
Found with Crystal Fairy after a bit of a search while caching in the area today. Took us longer than it should have to find this . Signed log, TFTC.
Mr P and I were having a bit of discussion at GZ - we were careful to ensure our words weren't blue, our mood not green and our faces red. t4tc
Why Yellow? The Automobile Association's yellow colour, comes not from the fact that it is one of the best colours to see at a distance or poor weather conditions (this is just a coincidance), but from it's 1st President, the 5th Earl of Lonsdale Hugh Lowther.
Lord Lonsdale, was also know as the yellow Earl. He had a yellow Rolls Royce which had a customised raised roof in the back of the carriage to accomodate his top hat and 194cm frame.
He was also the chairman of the Arsenal Football club(UK, which is why they also have a yellow playing strip.
Took awhile to find. Missed it where I first looked and after searching every where else and the rain closing in (and almost seeing red), I had one more try at hte original spot. Quick signing of log and run back to car, befor getting to wet. TFTC
