Last time I came this way, there was a huge family gathering here so I didn't stop, but the one lone green spot on my map has been bugging me for ages. Had the place to myself today.Quickly found and signed. TFTC
TFTC. We love Geocaching as a young family. Brings us to so many hidden spots we never knew would have existed without Geocaching. Kids enjoyed a play at the park. Picked up the TB to continue its travels. Left lots of goodies as swaps for future cache finds.
#5628Mathsnuts are over from the UK, visiting the inlaws. Today we have visited Natural Bridge Park and are on our way back up to Springbrook, stopping at some caches along the way.We found this very quickly and then the (not so small) kids and Mr Maths made the most of the empty playground to go on everything, including a rope swing, but not the one over the river. We dropped a TB that wants to travel. TFTC
Found, along with some large ants, they didn't cause any trouble. Pulled up with parking area almost vacant, queue about eight vehicles to join me. tftc
Travelling in the Springbroock NP and found some caches. Thank you for the cache.
Today I joined forces with chamad and geopup to collect some caches in 2 LGAs for a couple of challenges and to enjoy this beautiful part of our country.A quick find here, log signed, cache replaced as found. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache.
Today was a fun caching day with Willis007 and geodog bella. The plan was to grab a few target caches around the scenic rim area and then continue to head off to the northern rivers area and grab a few numbers. With just a few on the list, it was easy to fill the day in further with a few extra caches as we passed by. The run for the target caches were for challenge caches in Brisbane that willis007 was working on. For me it was a nice day for a drive and a couple of interesting caches to collect along the way. While there was no pressure for the day's outing, we still managed to grab a few interesting caches and a nice tally for the day. We signed all logs and returned caches as we found them.It is a very interesting area around here and I enjoy just driving around and the views, awesome.Thank you for placing the cache here and bringing me to this area.
Another stop along this road in a nice park. The cache was soon spotted. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Aussie Liahona for another one.
Nice little spot for a run with the dog and a swim to cool of on our travels around the gc
Found it with the Coles Family and Jamboner on a lovely day with a bbq! Tftc, first cache of the year!
what an absolutely fun playground this is. new equipment installed here and there are toilets and people were swimming in the river nearby.Out with Geo daughter and Geo sis for an afternoon of fun and exploring. TFTC Aussie Liahona
Our first catch in Australia!! Nice spot for a bath after visiting the Natural bridge a few kms away. Thanks!
On our way back from the Natural Bridge, MrMagoo72 and I decided to stop to find a few caches along the way. This was a lovely park - we had to wait for a few muggles to move, and a motorcyclist who saw us near his bike kept looking over to us to ensure we weren't interfering with his vehicle. Didn't take long to find the cache, signed the log and returned as found. TFTC.
MacBayMeri and I had to be stealthy here, as there were a few muggles about even on a weekday. Finally got the chance to retrieve, sign and return as found. TFTC.
Making our way back from Natural bridge, picking up a few caches along the way.
There were a few people in the park but none near the cache.

Down this way for a hike - and I arrived early enough to allow time to nab a couple of caches in the area. This was prime target (no pun) after lucking out last visit. Not an issue today though - easily grabbed, signed, returned before the engine stopped spinning. Time for a few more perhaps.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for entertaining me at this location.

Please make sure it's hidden when you leave.
Had to use what we had with us so please don't drop rock onto container.
Cheers and happy caching!

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Visiting from New Zealand and staying a few days in Springbrook. Today we drove to the Natural Bridge. No find for us here however we didn’t search for long as the swim in the river was more appealing.
TFTC great container and spot I left a signed titan’s poster for someone to find I traded it for a cool iceberg sticker
Grabbed on the way down Numinbah Valley after doing Pages Pinnacles. I decided to stop at all those on the Eastern side whilst heading South, then picking up the Western hides on the way back.
I have driven along this road several times with an eye for where we could pop in for a swim. I never thought to look at the cache descriptions for guidance. Now that I know this is here, I'll see if the family is interested in a BBQ and a swim sometime in summer. Barb wire fences won't hold us back if they to want to!
TFTC Aussie Liahona!

A quick trip out of cold Melbourne to sunny Queensland! After checking out the nearby waterfall, we needed to go to the toilet... picked up this one on the stop. Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona.

Lovely views again and gorgeous swimming area looking up at the border of binna burra and ships stern from the valley below. Removed the rubbish in the cache and left actual swaps.
Lots of muggle activity today, so had to be extra careful, but it was an easy find
Finally allowed to cross into Queensland without a permit - with all the rain was decided to go to Bochow Park instead of Mebbin. Parked the car and wandered over before the car park filled up. A very quick find.
This was a great spot - kids had a swim, I chased butterflies and we had a lovely picnic.

Making my way towards Natural Bridge collecting caches along the way... My 11th find for the day and thanks to the specific hint and spot on co-ordinates this was a nice quick find... I sat and watched a couple of very cute dogs in the park before moving onto the next cache... TFTC...
A beautiful sunny day and many families here in the park. We quietly snuck in and out! TFTC
This weekend, I headed south to NSW to Lismore and Casino on Saturday, followed by Springbrook National Park on the Gold Coast on Sunday, meeting different geocaching groups on both days.
Today, I joined a few other Geocachers for a hike in Springbrook National Park. We didn't end up completing our target geocache due to wet conditions, and so detoured to another nearby location. After returning back to our vehicles, I decided to use the afternoon remainder in visiting Natural Bridge, and then find a few geocaches on the road back to Nerang, before then heading home.
This reserve/park was fairly busy, with the area popular with muggles and picnics etc. I decided to park just next to the main road, and then walked back to GZ. After a short search, the cache was located, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

As the day is rolling to its end and i am turning back from the creek to make my way back to the vehicle, the thought of searching for a cache catches me. It has been a while since i last cached, perhaps this find rekindles the fire! I realise that i am only parked meters away. I get to the spot and notice the anomaly. It is what I suspected it to be. Thank you.
A quick early morning cache trip after an awesome weekend at natural bridge. Big spider jumped up on my arm, otherwise all well with cache TFTC
After driving up to the Natural Bridge we cached our way back along the road towards the coast. A lovely time had taking in the scenery; enjoying muggle free caching and appreciating the safe pull off areas for the caches. Apologies for the general logs. Thanks for the fun, Aussie Liahona.
Stealth was required at this one and an extra set of eyes. Eskies5 did the retrieving and the signing. TFTC Aussie Liahona
Visited this geocache today and gave it a new pencil and a new log to make it ready with room to sign for the next geocachers.
Cheers and happy caching!
