Cool town art.Stayed at the free camp here for a couple of nights while exploring the mountains.TFTC!

12-Jul-24
After an overnight stop and with just one cache in town and very few on the horizon for finding today, you would have thought we wouldnt forget this one but we almost did. Stealth wasn't a problem as we wandered over after filling the RV with water. Quite a sneaky little hide you found here... The Borden Bombers are awesome! TFTC Liz and Bruce.

Out and about again, gone down south for the weekend and managed to get Friday off to make a long weekend out of it. Grabbed a few caches today, a little cooler but stayed dry. This is 15697.Thanks to Liz and Bruce for the caches we found.

21-Apr-24
Heading south for an extended long weekend, with the aim to knock off one of WAs oldest caches, up Bluff Knoll. Unfortunately, the plan didnt take the shape we intended, with the car not starting this morning in Nyabing. After some assistance from Scott at the Hub to get leads from another local in town, we got a jump and decided to change course for Albany to source a new battery. While we were a bit bummed out on not completing the intended climb, you do have to play with the cards you are dealt.Stopped in here for a quick find. Neatly hidden. Cheers Liz and Bruce! Big GrinJoin us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!

Well its time we were on our way again and wanted a different way of heading back west from our stay in Bremer Bay. Google Maps really didn't want to let us travel a bit slower and kept changing the route to a faster one which we weren't after. Frustrating in a place we didn't know however caching kept us on the straight and narrow. This was the 2nd of the day and took a little while to become apparent, then generated a smile at the 'specially engineered'. very quiet town on a Sat morning as you would expect. tftc

My husband brought us via Borden to show the kids where he went to school. It was good to see the school is still open and well presented. We did a lap around town and enjoyed finding your cache. Thank you.

14-Feb-24
Sleepy town but a good one for a rest stop and very happy to find a cache here too. Took us a little while as we had targeted the wrong area. But once that was rectified a pair of sharp eyes and long arms got the deed done. Liked the neatness of this hide so giving it a fav. Tftc

One of our targets for this trip to Western Australia was to attempt some challenges, in particular The Great Southern Challenge, The Great Southern Challenge II and The Regional Cacher Challenge III. Today we focussed on visiting as many LGAs as we could in a day and to find at least once cache in each of them. We were fortunate to visit 7 LGAs and find more than one cache in each of them.

Accurate coordinates focussed our search and we soon had the cache in hand. Unfortunately the previous cacher has replaced the cache back to front and the log was rather damp, but still signable. Thanks Liz and Bruce for the cache.

We travelled from Portland Victoria across to WA to see our daughter in Perth. Now we are slowly heading home via Yallingup, the Fitzgerald NP and Denmark.

Today we have left Denmark in terrible weather and headed for Raventhorpe in terrible weather.

We had hoped to get a coffee here but had to settle for a toilet break and a cache.
Thanks for showing us this part of the world Liz and Bruce

17-May-21
Found this gem in the dark as I got carried away with my sightseeing today. TFTC Smile

09-May-21
It seems the town has an stayed home today. There is literally no one around.
Shops closed, no cars and no people. Has the world ended and we hadn't been told?
The cache was found after a short search. Glad we didn't have to look too high.

10-Jan-21
Family holiday from Hyden to Albany.
Hubby gives us 10 minutes to find caches.
Of course he comes along after our allotted time and finds the cache in seconds. He doesn't even like geocaching!

Nice place for a toilet stop on a Sunday. Don't look for any food or drinks. Everything is shut on a Sunday. Bloody country areas.

Oh, the cache is in the photo.

TFTC ️ C&D&N & hubby.
