Great little cache we hit on our way to the falls.... yes we were a bit off course. I dropped a rat in the cache to give him a chance to move on and maybe entice people to cache out here again. It's a great area for hiking. TFTC
found the cahce with lightning11 and joshnaputi. it was a good hike and easy find
Was out biking the xterra route and decided to do some caching on the way....Left a hat pin...moved Geocoin...awsome ride by the way..
Found again with friend from Virginia. Picked up 'Marks 2007' trackable coin and dropped Guam turtle.
Went on a nice hike with mrs jimp59 to get the new caches in this area at about 4:15pm. This was the 1st one. Many offroad adventurers were doing their thing and just having a great time. Two of the offroaders were using the yamaha mules and it was pretty easy for them to get through the area. They also had a beautiful Siberian Husky that was named Demon due to the two different colored eyes. One blue and the other brown. Really strange. Got to GZ and found the cache with no problems. So far my new GPS is working out pretty good. I still miss my 60csx though. Thanks for the hide. JIMP59 (GUAM)
Found it with Blygoat. We trekked and tracked through the muddy trails but found some dry areas to hit the mud off our heals to make our shoes lighter. I enjoyed the walk and talk with Blygoat it makes the time go by faster...someone saying "we're almost there"! So, encouraging! TN L-DOX quadcacher gc (he's been waiting to go there) TFTC SL
Finally had a chance to go out and grab some of the remaining caches I need to do on Guam (all 5 of them are from Geofreqman!). Was going to take the truck into this location but looked at the trails and decided against it. We thought we'd hit this by walking in from Leo's Lookout (climb the stairs to the fence, go left and follow the trail). On the way into the lookout, we see two 4X4's stuck in the mud up to their axles on basically the same road we were going to take in! We're so happy we decided to walk it! So, we start walking on the trail and two jacked up jeeps come racing by us and one almost gets stuck. His buddy drove around him and kept going. Finally getting out of the mud, they catch up to each other again, only to find that the other jeep is now stuck in the mud and is almost ready to roll over. We walk past and kept going. As we keep following the trail, we keep looking back to see how the jeeps are doing. They have the tow rope out and still can't get the jeep out of the mud. Finally, they are able to get out. By then, we're half way to the cache. Passed by some hikers heading back out who asked us for a smoke (we don't smoke so we couldn't help them out). Finally arrived at the cache and found it in no time. Nice day for a hike with Wandahfoh! Left a geocoin here.
My first FTF!!!! So stoked when i walked up with Walk The Plank and it was just chillin there. Nice four wheeling trails.
Hint : If you have a 4x4 dont mess around, just drive to it! haha
