Today the Fat Lady has sung on these caches.
These caches have been the centre of many stories and entertainment over the years. There have been over 40 Favourite points on all 5 caches combined.
By coincidence I was in the area today and decided to pickup the containers. Couldn't resist 4WD'ing out of #2 for maybe the last time. Wow that area has changed.
To all the people that found them, thanks for your logs and the stories you had to share. We hope that they didn't cause you too much stress while solving.

Well, this was definitely the hardest puzzle to solve! A connection was made, but not followed through correctly, so a prompt from The PacMan had this one sorted. Thanks to the COs for allowing this log and thanks for the series!
Logged with the kind permission of the owner. Loved the series TFTC Team PacketStorm
I had solved all 5 a couple of months ago and had been meaning to go retrieve them, but notification that the whole series will be archived in a couple of weeks prompted me to do them all today.
With military precision, I planned the operation and went from #1 to #5 in 1 hour - all doable with no special equipment and in a 2WD euro-hatch.
Found this one the easiest puzzle of the series, as I was a programmer in the early days of the Internet.
Unfortunately this specific cache #1 has been archived and the hide removed, so I've emailed the CO's a photo of GZ which I was at yesterday.
TFTC, Team PacketStorm!

It is with great regret that I will need to archive this series of puzzle caches. Unfortunatly there has been a crime wave pass over Freshwater Creek and some of these caches have been caught up in it.
There have been many great stories regarding these caches over the last 4 years. What fun they have been!
It is not the end of the cache containers as these will be reused again one day in another puzzle series?
If you wish to find these caches before they are archived I will help you significantly in finding the answers.
As number #1 is not actually out there, if you can email me the correct answers you will be allowed to log it.
I will also have it with me on the night of the Geelong event in Fyansford.
We hope that you enjoyed the time and effort that went into this series.
The caches will be unavailable from the 17th of June 2013.
Cheers,

Spoke with the pastor, does not look like this one will be returning to the church.
Stay tuned for a final decision.

Was at GZ at 15h30 hoping I could sign the log before it is removed , but seems I was too late. Cache seems gone. (I know it'sflagged for maint, but I tried my luck anyhow... Will wait for updates.)
I have made contact with the local church, stay tuned while we work through with this.
Will have a decision soon.
Thanks!

Ok, im not sure about the vandalism that is going on in the Freshwater Creek area, but i have had a phone call about this one and they have asked it to be removed.
As this is part of a series of caches and its location is dependant on following caches it will require some though.
If you would like to find this in the meantime please contact me as i will have no issues with you ogging it.
Thanks for your patience!

As relatively newcomers to this activity, it was quite exciting nutting out this series without having to resort to any hints (although we were close to seeking help) TFTC
Seeing as I was in the area to find one of the series, and I had already solved them eons ago, I thought I should spend a few hours finding them and some nearby distraction caches. Once I found a gap in the heavy weekend traffic, I was able to pull the car inside and locate another sweet ammo can.
The puzzles were solved before we set off to clean up this area today. Bogonghazy did a fab job of solving these ones. The cache was quickly spotted and logged and we were off to the next puzzle. Thanks to Team PacketStorm for this little puzzle series, which we can now cross off our to-do lists.
Another quick find here at a place SUlly1 and I had visited before in a different caching experience.
Another well stocked and large container, thanks again TPS, another fave here.
(And thanks for the hint, was never going to solve this one)

Dropped past this series today to check that all was in order.
Safe to say that everything is in order.
Watch out along Hendy Main Road as the police are all through this area!
These caches are all good to go!

I had solved this cache quite some time ago, during a quiet period at work. Today I had had a truly awful day at work, followed by a drive to Geelong to a meeting which I had been given the wrong address for, then after finding the right address, giving a presentation on a project which isn't finished, isn't mine and I don’t care that much about. Oh and I missed lunch. As the meeting finished a bit early and these cache weren't too far out of town and I really would enjoy picking them up.
I pulled over for the first location and enjoyed the view of the nearby feature (don't want to give anything away) and headed over to pick up the refreshingly large cache. When I signed the log book I noticed this cache hadn't been found for nearly 7 months so that is a pleasant surprising addition to my tally for 'unloved' caches.
Thanks for the cache and the puzzle Team PacketStorm.

Cracking this code didn't take me too long after I read through some of the comments, although at first I was convinced it was much less sneakily hidden.
Then when I went to find it, considering it was almost midnight, there were a huge amount of cars going to and from Anglesea, and I felt like they were all staring at my phone LED that I use as a torch. The GPS seemed determined to point me to the wrong spot; however, the cache was quickly located where it could obviously only be.

After much gnashing of teeth and searching for the message in the cache details a hint was received from the CO and all became clear. Today it was off to the field to reap the rewards of our work. Thanks PacketStorm.

A quick find @ 20:10 in the company of the geowife and emeraldflame. I had worked out the answers for this series a few weeks ago knowing that we'd be down here this week. As we were passing here this evening we thought we may as well pick it up now. What a bold hide - not to mention feeling very exposed!

Sorted out the clues for this one yesterday, I was going to make a swoop and grab the whole series in one hit. BUT I can't work out # 2 so I gotta settle for three out of four for now. Thanks PacketStorm4 for placing the cache and for giving me a few hints on # 2. I will keep working on it and come back for the final another day. Awesome series and an easy to find cache once I got to GZ. Took path tag left parratrooper also dropped off bushies pannican tb.
Its taken us about one year to get around to this lot.
With some help from good old mate bushfire we had all our co,ords we set off.
with short walk we had cache logged in and had bit of a look around the area.

Parking was a little bit tricky, but we managed and there was no-one around today, so perfect timing. Dropped in a TB, thanks for the cache.
This was an easy find but a hard puzzle to crack so I asked for a little help from the one encyclopaedia of all caching knowledge I know. A big thank you to him & packetstorm for enlightening me on new ways to solve puzzle caches. This was a great series and has indeed spurred me on to do more like it. TFTC
Great hide and going with Easter Bunnies has started the outing well. Hope it can all work out..TFTC
We had been eying off this cache for a while now and when an opportunity came to do the series with Sam Gamgee, we started plugging away at the puzzles. Fortunately we spoke the right language for this one and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for sharing such a peaceful location.
Nice quick find in a very interesting little place on the side of the road, solved this series ages ago, now got dome tome to grab the forget, I'll see if the light lasts for the rest! Thanks to packetstorm4 for the series, looks impossible but not too hard to get

Staying in Bellbrae for the week and liked the look of this series of puzzle caches. Sat down this morning and nutted them out. I will admit that this one was the last for me to solve and when I finally did the answer was in plain sight. We really enjoyed the theme of this series including the puzzles, containers and swaps. We also appreciate the time and effort that went in to the creation.

This was the last one of this puzzle quartet this afternoon and the one that would show me how the series was 'meant to be done' . It was also the one that gave me most trouble . I was working down a particular line of thinking but it just wasn't giving me an answer so with the weekend rapidly approaching, I put in a mercy call to my own personal 'cachebusters' (who ya gonna call? ), Alsume. A bit of thinking by them put me back on the right track and we soon had the cleverly hidden final coordinates in the GPSr .
I'm not sure whether I was supposed to or not but I made this a drive-by [8)] and quickly had the stash in hand at 14:35 to finish off this wonderful series .
TNLNSL. Many thanks for a great series PacketStorm4 .

Having solved the series some time ago, today was the day to finally put a couple of smilies on our map. GZ is in an area that we had also considered for a cache - well, we will have to think of other co-ordinates.

Finally got around to getting this one today, I had solved the puzzle a long time ago, as PacketStorm4 got me to test it for him. I also knew the location of the cache as I had also been there to help him with that!
So I suppose that makes it quite easy, but nevertheless it has taken me so long to finally get it.

We (lochb, landau351 and I) were on a mission.
To find ALL the E.M.U. caches before Mr Emu disables them. Today was the day!
On the way there we passed a traditional on the right. Hmm, damn!
The navigator wasn't paying attention. That would be me..
After getting some guidance from PachetStorm4 on his series of puzzles the day before, we approached the first GZ on the way to E.M.U. 0.
(Trying to solve puzzles through gsak is not always the way to go, some vital information sometimes is missing.)
Get ready to stop in 500, 400, 300, 250, 200, 150... Its just here by this drive way...
Hopped out the car and walked the short distance to GZ, and found the ammo can was in the first place I looked!
Success!
Back to the cars and onto our mission!
Thanks PacketStorm4 for the puzzle, guidance and cache.

Easily solved, but I didn't notice the clue in the images - very cute.
It was too early for lunch at this stage, so we just grabbed the cache and set off for the next in the series.

I can easily see why some cachers would have struggled with the solving of this one.
Luckily the solution came quickly as I had applied my usual approaches to this puzzle like I would do any other and worked it out.
In retrospect the cartoon clues are great.

When this cache was first published the penny didn't drop on how to solve the puzzle immediately, and we put aside the whole series for a later time. Now that time has come, and a review of recent logs gave me the clue I was looking for. Annoyingly obvious to somebody who should know better and has also seen this technique used before ;–) A good puzzle indeed, followed by a visit to an interesting location that we had been to only once before when doing some cache research of our own. Thanks for the cache PacketStorm4, a good start to an enjoyable series of caches.

Well I found this one the hardest in the series by far. It took me quite a few attempts and strategies before I read all of the notes and previous logs and then it all was there for me to see. Very clever puzzle and series. Thanks for all your efforts as I loved it.
Found today by Mr & Mrs 1SR at 1045hrs. Finally found time to sit down and look at these. This proved to be the hardest and I got a big hint from Bushfire, yet I come in and log today and I see a very big hint (link) on the page. Very clever with a well hidden answer.

#102 for us, found in the gathering evening of Fathers' Day, at around 17:00.
After an excellent lunch at the Bannockburn pub, Mrs Juc and juc_jr#1 headed off with the in-laws, leaving juc_jr#2 and I to take the geocacher's route (which is even longer than the scenic route !) home. We had quite a few DNF's due to washouts along the river between Inverleigh and Winchelsea, so this was a nice easy find and our last for the day.
I had worked out the other 3 corners for this series during the week without a problem, but I had to go to the source of this cache to get an extra hint. I had hoped to complete them all this weekend, but floods and in-laws took care of that.
We grabbed the TB and he can come and ride with us for a while. We left a spider and a koala keyring

Had all the puzzles solved on the 30th but due to the reason we had to return to Geelong it was difficult to head off to find these caches. Later that night I saw that Phetlern and doheng had found three of the five. Bushfire called in his puzzle solving team (Pteranodon) and over a few wines they gave up their secrets.
The funeral was Tuesday so Wednesday it was time to have a go at finding these guys before flying back to Townsville Thursday. Now Wednesday it was raining so this caused me some concern after reading the cache notes re a couple of these caches.
# 1 was an easy find in the light rain so the log was signed and returned to the dry container which is inside my favourite type of container in these positions.
A very cleaver cache. Thanks PackerStorm4.
Dropped off Hound Dawg TB which I found on top of a mountain in very rough country in North Queensland.

We had solved all the puzzles and completed the calculations for #5 in the series at about 17:00. Knowing Doheng was in the area we asked them if they like to come with us for the hunt.
During the trip from St Leonards we wondered if any teams were ahead of us. On arrival at #1 we quickly walked to the GZ, apprehensive if we’d be First to Find. P-P tentatively opened the log to find a blank page – YAHOO.
This is a well designed and executed series which we had great fun doing. Thank you very much for the time and effort you have put in.
