As there has been no response to the last request/s to attend to this cache, the cache is being Archived on the basis that it has been abandoned.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the [Help Center](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

### **MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and includes regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when a seeker reports a problem with the cache.

Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, have a read here: [Cache Maintenance Guidelines.](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) The guidelines advise; **if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can.** This Help Centre article tells you how it can be done; [Temporarily Disable and Enable.]( http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 )

**Please respond to this situation within 28 days - so as to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.** Sad

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned and archived without further notice.

**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! Found a great spot to place a cache- nothing there! Think we were in the right spot - back for another look next time.

Thanks anyway to Jimmymaff for bringing us to this location.

After reading previous logs when I saw the canine come running towards my geo-vehicle I was a little worried but, its owner called it back inside before I left the car - thank goodness.
A nice place for a cache and after travelling to Walhalla with misschief18 last week it meant even more.

04-Apr-15
Easter long weekend brought with it a perfect opportunity to get out of the usual cache hunting grounds and into fresh pasture. yellowdaisy135 and I found ourselves all the way up on Mt. Howitt, in the Alpine National park. Its a truly beautiful area and thanks to all the cache owners for helping to bring us out here to get in amongst it. It wasn't our most successful trip in terms of numbers, but it was certainly one of the best.
We managed a few of these Railtrail caches. Despite spending a lot of time around here as kids, I don't think either of us has spent much time exploring the trail. Might have to bring my bike next time.

Almost felt like I was searching for a cache in someone's front yard, there were even 2 cars in the driveway. Had a look around and then got down on hands and knees to explore some more and soon uncovered the cache. Signed the log, returned it and then continued on my way home - just a few more caching stops to go.

Found it! Was looking around too-far-afield at first. So close to home. I think our girls are going to enjoy this treasure-hunting sport! Might be a micro-cache, but managed to squeeze a trinket into the cache for someone else to enjoy.

A guy & a girl - 13 Towns - 500 kms - 60 caches

September Stroll was born earlier in the week with an idea hatched to head in a loop towards Sale starting from Moe. Heading north up to Heyfield, across to Stratford then down to Sale before arriving home late, it was a magnificent spring day to enjoy East Gippsland.

We parked the GeoRanger and headed to GZ. This made us uncomfortable as it seemed we were in the middle of someones front yard. We found the cache after a short search, thinking as we approached this would be a perfect spot for a fake rock!!

Thanks for the cache Jimmymaff!!!
